Ok everyone! it appears that the traveling sketchbook did not arrive to its intended first location! did anyone get it first who was not suppose too? I dont think I sent it out of order but I still want to check otherwise it got lost in the mail or something and I will have to send a new one out ASAP.

I am so f*cking sick of the teachers at my school! they dont even care about us students! here i am, getting my portfolio ready to send out and most of them refuse to give me a letter of recommendation! One said yes but has been avoiding me *i have sent e-mails, called and stopped by his office* and another half assed it and mis-spelled a bunch of stuff including my name! i need to send this portfolio out ASAP but these teachers are holding me back with their attitude problems! I cant wait to get out of community college!!!

Ok, some things have been changed that I want you all to be aware of. First the line-up has changed slightly and i have notified those who have been moved. Please look to see who you will be recieving the book from and sending it too.

the sketchbook only has 100 pages in it! 25 artists and everyone gets 4 pages. I totally forgot that i will be one of the 25 so in actuality i only need 24. Please keep the word going about this project. I still do not have all 24 artists :3

and remember that the book will make its journey starting Nov. 1! I will have some sort of web community on LJ or myspace by that time and will post the link :3

Also, I do not have everyones address! please, if you have not sent me a note with your address please do so.

Each artist will be given 3-4 pages dedicated just to themselves. Draw whatever you want and feel free to right a light bio about yourself. This is not just limited to sketches and drawings. Poems, songs, and even pictures of yourself are welcome. This is your opportunity to let other artists know more about who you are! Again, this is not limited to anthro art.
Each artist has the book for 2 weeks but the sooner you can send it off the better.

ASAP: To all participating artists- please note me with your real name and address. I will be keeping track of all addresses and only give your info out to the person ahead of you in line so they can mail you the book.

1). Only artistic nudity (nothing XXX rated please)
2). Do not take up more then the set amount of pages
3). Do not keep for over 2 weeks. If for some reason you have an problem with sending it out on time please contact me and let me know along with the artist next in line waiting for the sketchbook

oh man! im so nervous about this weekends portfolio review! I leave tomorrow so i wont be active the next few day :3 But anywho, i finally picked my character line up!! i have been debating which characters to show along with all of my figure drawing sketches and i have finally desided on my nameless hell hound *who has yet to grace the internet with his presence*, my fox fursona, and the worm rider Ritsa :3

in other news, I still only have 6 artists interested in the sketchbook. Please make sure to spread the word k :3 i want to get this started ASAP :D

Woot! Alright! I already have 4 out of the 25 artists! This is the beginning of phase one. Phase one consists of getting 25 artists and assigning who gets the sketchbook when.

Now that i think about it, this is a collaberation project on a GRAND scale. What i would like to do is create a group (probably on myspace or livejournal) were the 25 artists can talk, share ideas, and update eachother as to the location of the sketch book. Also, once it has finally reached the 25th aritst and is returned to me i would like to make copies and have them sent to the 25 participants! Im not sure how well that will work out but that is what i would like to do.

Ok, i just had an interesting idea the other day.

I have an old unused sketchbook hanging around in my apartment and its looking for some action. I would like for this sketchbook to take a tour around the world, visiting other artist who can then draw, write, and leave there mark in it. I am looking for about 25 artists who would be interested in receiving this traveling book. It will be a nice way to send little messages, quotes, and doodles to other artists. If you are interested please post and be sure to tell your friends! I will be working out some of the kinks as soon and i know others are interested!

In less than 2 weeks i will be heading down to Southern California to show my portfolio at the National Portfolio Review Day in Laguna. Im a bit nervous but also very excited. However, money has become a big issue and is sufficating me and my plans. This is why my commission lines are open. Hello FA!!! Today is my first day and so far i have had a very very warm welcome! Thank you everyone for the lovely comments, favs, and watches! they are all very much appreciated :3

So anyway, a bit about myself:

I like anime, manga, drawing, Harry Potter, pizza, chinese food, talking to my friends, hanging out in San Francisco, going to conventions *anime ones*, being with and cuddling with my boyfriend, tigers and foxes, reading *i <3 fantacy and sci-fi*, and traveling.
I am 20 years old and an aries. I am a student at a community college getting my GE out of the way so i can finally move one to bigger and better things and persue my animation studies and career. I am a born and raised Californian and i can think of no other place were I would rather be.
