To anyone who plays Monster Hunter World, I've ran into an issue regarding to it's recent update.

"Failed to read saved data for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne"

I never even bought Iceborne and no mods were installed as far as I know. I've asked people around and they pretty much say, "Just Google it."
Been doing that almost all day and I can't seen to find a good solution to recover my save file.
Granted, I'm not that far into the game, but I'd rather not have to redo all of my progress so far.

If any of you guys know a solution that works, then please let me know. Thank you. <3

I think I realize the root of the problem here.
Ever since FA's recent updates, I haven't been receiving any notifications of notes being sent to me and they're automatically being read.
Checked the comments for their recent update and saw that people are mentioning that the note system is a bit out of whack, having the same issue.
That's probably why the artist I mentioned in my last journal has been 'ignoring' my notes due to the state of the note system atm.
Mini update, the artist actually got back to me and we're working something out. ^^

It was actually thanks to FlaviaGrandville who commented that in my last journal that mentioned that I didn't reply to their note.
I did received it, but got no notification for it and it was automatically read so I wasn't aware they sent the note. I replied, but I'm still very sorry.

You guys might be experiencing the same thing, so double check your notes if you're using FA's new interface.
Hopefully the FA staff can fix this asap because I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.

An artist is ignoring my messages of wanting a commission.
The fact they saw my messages and not replying back is rude and unprofessional.
At least have the decency to reply and decline. Has this happened to any of you?

So back in 21st of October was my second road test. I've been practicing so much of my parallel parking that it almost became second nature.
Turns out that I passed! Some points have been docked off when I got to the driving aspect of the test, but they were minor details.
I didn't get any marks off from my parallel parking so I nailed that part down.

I probably should of posted this as soon as I passed, but I kind of forgot. X3
But yeah, I'm happy that I passed and that I don't need to stress over it anymore. Now I can roam around with more freedom. o3o

Also a friend showed me a 30 min YouTube cartoon called, 'Hazbin Hotel'. The animator (Vivziepop) and her team recently posted it.

So as the title says, the last few weeks have been an emotional roller coaster for me. Two events happened.

First and foremost I quit my job working as a meat clerk for about three years (close to four); already submitted my two weeks resignation letter, and as of today, June 18th, 2019, is my last working day so it feels a bit odd considering it's my first job quitting.

One of the reasons for resigning is that it has been stressful due to the higher standards my manager has put on me and my other coworkers for the past couple months; making sure certain things get done on a strict time and to make sure I know what I'm doing. For the past couple months I have been trying my best to keep up with the new standards, but it seems that it hasn't been good enough. Believe me when I said that I've tried, I really have, but it hasn't been satisfying my manager. Don't get me wrong, I can understand where he's coming from since he needs to satisfy his boss, the store owner. It's just been mentally exhausting to put up with the lectures and applying new rules/higher standards within our department; my coworkers can agree with me on that and they're no slackers, far from it.

Also I have been considering to resign for a while now and it was only a matter of time of when I would want to do it; two weeks ago was the breaking point for me. The amount of stress my manager has been giving me crap on was getting to the point where it's been making me feel unmotivated/discouraged and somewhat depressed at times. I tried to continue working to see if things would get any better, but it sadly hasn't. I tried talking things out with my manager, but overall he says that it isn't going to get any easier if I continue to work with him. I wasn't planning to work there forever, so for the most part, I believe it was a good time for me to move on and look for something else.

Like I said, it feels odd, but also a bit of a relief as well since I wouldn't need to stress over the things I need to do while working my shifts.

The second event was that I came out to my mom... the same day I told her I was quitting my job two weeks ago. I can only guess that it was a bit overwhelming for her due to her reaction. Quitting wasn't an issue for her or anything, but deciding to tell her that I'm gay was a bit of a shock for her. As of why I came out to her, I'm not quite sure; but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with the stress I was under from work. Her response wasn't the worse thing that happened or the best. In the end she seemed to be neutral about it, saying as long as I'm happy and whatnot.

What kind of concerns me is that she said that her opinion doesn't really matter, only my dad's. She said that he expects me to be married to a wife and have kids. But the thing is my dad never once mentioned that I have to be married and have kids. Our relationship isn't sour or anything, we just barely interact with each other. If I ever came out to my dad, my mom said that I shouldn't and that, "He's gonna have a heart attack." Not sure what's got her paranoid, but I think the root of it is my dad is 'the man of the house' sort of deal.

At the end of the day I still and will always love my parents, it's just that they're still kind of holding onto that 'traditional' mindset of the Asian parents. Growing up in an Asian family, they're more laid back compared to others, but I can still feel that mindset lingers in the back of their minds. If they want to be more supportive with my sexuality then they'll need to let that 'traditional' thinking go, but I can't force them. I wanted to at least let my mom know that I'm gay since I'm closer to her compared to my dad. I've talked things over with a couple friends and for the most part they said that I don't need to tell my dad about my sexuality since I barely interact with him in the first place.

Anyway that pretty much sums up what's been going on with me recently. Oh and that I've been practicing more with my driving because I still have my beginner's licence; I really want to get my full licence this year! For the most part I'm feeling okay in terms of my mentality. So yeah, wanted to make this journal to get your guy's perceptive on all this if any of you care to read this far. Just to give you guys a bit of an update on what's been going on with me lately.

Back on the 22nd of Feb, I went under a small surgery.
The funny thing is that I thought they wanted to schedule me in on March 22nd (the month of my birthday >.<).
I swear to you that my doctor said that he wanted to schedule me in that month.
Luckily I called in the day before the 22nd of Feb to confirm the surgery date, but they said that my surgery was the next day.
Of course I was like, "...What?" So quickly I got a bit stressed since I needed to let my work know that,
but they were nice and understanding about it so I wasn't all that much worried after.
Although I still call bs when the woman on the phone said that my surgery was the next day. >.>

But yeah, overall it went well, just that I can't sit down for too long and that I'm off work for 4 weeks.
Been laying down on my bed a lot these past couple days, mostly feeling sore.
That's why some of you guys haven't noticed me online for a while.

Since now you know why I haven't been as active, I can let you know about my status in terms on commissions.
Lucky that I have a laptop (that's pretty much standing on it's last legs) to keep in contact of the artists I'm commissioning
so you'll see some coming out soon.

So in conclusion, I'll be active on FA (maybe Telegram) here and there, just not on anything else like on Steam, Discord, Skype, etc.
It'll be a while before I can sit down properly for a certain amount of time - maybe another week or two I probably can.

Oh also I have a question for you guys. Why is it that the 'popular artists' never put out their price sheets?
I mean, they get commissions coming in all the time and never once have I seen their prices
or them posting up journals about it. Just posting journals when they're open and closed.
It's something I haven't got the chance to understand, so if any of you guys know why, then please let me know.

This is a bit of an update in terms of my last journal about in terms of use of my fursona. I still stand by when I say that I'm not 100% okay with anyone using Texy as their own fursona or RP uses. But however, when it comes to posting Texy on certain sites to share on, I'm honestly fine with that. For example, on e621 - even though I have an account on it, I wasn't the one posting Texy on the site. Someone else has been, and the reason I'm okay with it is because that person(s) gave credit to the owner of the character and the artist that created the image. As long as credit is given to the owner of the character and the artist, then I don't mind Texy being shared on certain cites.

Also about the person who used Texy on their Facebook, I've managed to get in contact with them and they respectfully took the images down, which I really do appreciate. Can never know what to expect when dealing with these types of situations. Either they're gonna be respectful about it or be absolute dicks and won't corporate. It's usually the latter most of the time, but I suppose I got lucky. As long as you're polite but also firm about it, good chances are that they'll be nice about it and say sorry. Just don't go guns blazing and start threatening if you ever see someone using your fursona or character. X3

Another thing I want to talk about, or rather ask, is if any of you guys know any good quality artists that have cheap or at least decent prices? As much as I would like to have a commission that's as high quality as like... Slyus (PLEASE NOTICE ME SENPAI! <3) for an example, I can't spend that much money. For one thing, I'm cheap as a motherf*#ker, and another is that I need to save my earnings for the long run. Technically I am able to afford commissions that are at a high price, but again, I'd rather not spend a chunk of my hard earned cash. I can understand that these talented artists would put their prices quite high due to the amount of hours they put into each of them and whatever else reason they need to have them that expensive. Just that most likely you won't be seeing Texy come to life from those artists unfortunately. Not everyone can spend a lot for commissions.

Finding quality artists that have cheap or decent pricing are pretty much the diamond in the rough. That's why most of the commissions I post on here are artists that give out good deals. So if any of you guys know good artists with cheap or decent prices for commissions, please let me know. ^^

Hey everyone, hope all of you are doing well. Just wanted to make this small rant since this is something that I'm not okay with.

So recently I've had someone messaged me that a person on Facebook is using my fursona as their own (thanks for letting me know btw) - whether it'd be for RP purposes or using my fursona as their own. Now this is sort of thing is kind of new for me ever since I started getting more commissions in from these talented artists. I've had an ex a while ago told me that a different person is using my fursona on some website that I don't remember, but told me that he'll take care of it so I wasn't that worried.

I'm pretty sure some of you saw on my profile that I said in red texts that no one should use my sona as their own or for RP purposes. I should let you know right now that I'm not upset... more so annoyed than anything really. I've messaged this person to please take down the images of Texy since he doesn't belong to that person in the first place. We'll have to wait and see if he responds back... I rather not have to report this person if they don't cooperate or ignore me.

When someone takes your fursona as their own, you can't really blame the owners for being irked by it. People, including myself, paid REAL MONEY to get these wonderful commissions in. For someone to blindside me, along with the artists, and use my sona under my nose, you're damn right that I'm gonna be annoyed since that person is not me.

The excuse of saying, "Oh you should be flattered that you're fursona is sexy/good enough to be used as someone else's profile." is ridiculous to me because that person didn't pay real money to get their sona drawn, that person isn't the artist that drawn the sona, and that person definitely didn't came up with said sona.

Certainly some of you guys have experienced this before. If you have, how did you handle the situation? Because the best thing I could do was politely ask them to take down the images and hope they respond and not be a dick about it.

So I haven't posted any journal entries for a long while now. Figured I'd say something here every once in a while.

But yeah, if any of you are watching me or started to (to all the new watchers, thank you ), you've noticed an increase of posts I've commissioned with artists recently. I knew it was gonna happen sooner or later once I started getting some income this year. It's been quite fun getting to chat with the artists that I've commissioned with and seeing the process of their WIPs these past couple months. I also really appreciate their patients with me considering that I can be quite the perfectionist, but within reason of course. ^^;

I believe starting from late this year to next year should be a good run for me in terms of posting art of Texy, my fursona. Though I wouldn't expect to be posting that often compared to other commissioners since I'm not balling with cash; this fox's gotta be saving money too. >.< I don't know if I'll be making any more characters in the future since I'm content with having just Texy. It's very fascinating to me to see my fursona come to life through these talented artists and I'm pretty happy with just that. But if I were to make any more characters, I wouldn't be making them anytime soon.

So other than that, I've honestly been going through some... 'hiccups' recently down the road - I've been taking it well for the most part, so no need to worry. I normally don't talk about my personal 'problems' since I believe it's something private that I don't need to publicly talk about. But if I do, then it would be with close friends. What's been helping me through those times is honestly my friends on here and my rl friends. Lately I've been playing TERA with my rl friends - got myself a castanic archer, a high-elf mystic, and a popori sorcerer. Also my friends on here helping me as well that I've got the chance to talk to and hang because a lot of their free time is pretty scarce.

Over the years when I first joined the furry fandom, I've learn a lot about myself and the things revolving around this community. A lot of ups and downs in terms of relationships, drama, making and losing friends. I can't be grateful enough to the friends I've made that have stuck with me to this day and I'm looking forward to making more into the future. Regardless of any rough times within this community, I still and will always love it because of the friends I've made, to cherish the fond memories with them and making plenty more. Also getting to witness some amazing art, SFW or not that I may or may not have fapped to - we've all done it before, I'm definitely not the only one let's be real here >///>

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm just grateful to be within this community, despite it's 'drama', but which fandom doesn't have them? Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read this. Oh and hope all of you will be a wonderful and safe holiday that's coming around the corner. ^^

So its been a while since anyone has seen me active on here. Just letting you guys know that I'm doing fine.

Going to work part-time at a local grocery store for over a year or two isn't the worst thing I've done or the greatest - I find it to be okay. You'd be surprised of how many people you know from high school work at certain places. Its sometimes a small world, but it has its benefits - having people you know or at least be familiar with in your work environment doesn't make you feel as lonely or bored when working. For the most part the employee's that work at the store have been nice - I just had a few bumps on the road when I first started working since its actually my first legitimate job, regardless that's its part-time. I'm just grateful that I actually found one since finding a job in my area is quite limited. But I'm sure that anyone could say that from where they live. >.<

Other than work I've been playing a lot... and I mean A LOT of Blade and Soul. An MMORPG (that's free) that came to America this year, but originally came out in Korea in 2012 if I remember correctly. Almost everyday I've been playing that game - I'm in a phase right now that I'm trying out almost all the characters Blade and Soul that has to offer for now. If I were to just stick with one character I probably would of reached the level cap a long time ago, lol. Although at the same time I like keeping things fresh for myself - playing a class in an mmo for a certain period of time sometimes gets me... not necessarily bored, but more so not as motivated to keep going. Not sure if you understand or feel the same way but personally for me, I like changing things up when playing mmo's.

If any of you guys have Blade and Soul feel free to add me (the server I play on is Taywong) since most of my rl friends has pretty much moved on from Blade and Soul to Dark Souls (I know they sound similar but both are separate and totally different games) and I tried out the first Dark Souls, but it didn't really interest me that much. My highest character level is a Summoner, lvl 35 - his name is Chikako Nobu. I do have a Kung Fu Master that's lvl 38, but I'm currently playing that character with a rl friend. Or we can start from scratch, whichever you prefer. I also have a few other characters as well but I don't want to overwhelm you with how many I have. Besides, once adding me, you'll see all the characters I currently have on my account. X3

To add one more thing before I wrap this up, me and a certain... green fennec friend are gonna be in a commission from so there's that to look forward to. Don't know when the artist is gonna work on it since he has other commissions to do, but keep an eye out in the near future. ^^
