Posted 12 years agoSo the vasectomy was completed successfully with no issues. It took all of 10 minutes with very minimal pain.
The procedure was a no needle, no scalpel type. The only real pain came from the first no needle injection of anesthetic which felt like someone pinched me. The doctor was awesome and joke with me and piston through the entire process.
I am laid up on the couch for a couple of days, not planing on moving to terribly much. Gotta wait 7 days before I can become active again, and then will begin draining the tubes of all the little Roys left in there until I get my sperm check done.

So an update. I have been in some serious pain since about the middle of April. Lower back pain with constant pain down my left leg. Hit up the doctor, got an MRI, saw a Spine Specialist yesterday. I have a degenerated disc that herniated and is sitting on my nerve root. Setting up an appointment for Physical Therapy soon and just trying to stay as active as the pain will let me. If the pain does not start subsiding, I will be looking at a possible epidural to calm it down some.

Posted 13 years agoWow, I meant to do this right after the con, but got really far behind in that crazy thing called life!!
FangCon 2012 was exactly what I look for in a con, friends, fun, and fursuiting!
Being a first year con, I knew that it was going to be small, and well... that's what really makes it fun sometimes. Spent quiet a bit of time in Roy suiting around and trying to persuade folks with money to give it to the awesome Tiger Haven Charity. Crashed another convention (GMX) in town and ended up in a music video and a funny video.
All in all, FangCon 2012 was one of the top cons for me this year. I saw friends, made new ones, and help mold something that I feel can be great.
