So, long story short, I just got lazy. I've been around, just mostly active behind the scenes. I've managed to collect quite a few art pieces in the time I've been quiet. Hello all!

Just wanted to bump that old journal off the frontpag.e I'm still alive and around. Just been really busy. Moved across two states and getting situated with a new job eats up a lot of my time.

Michelle's parents were pretty average. She was an only child, but compared to others, she definitely wasn't spoiled. They were supportive of her aspirations, but disciplined her if they needed to.

2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?
Her puffy, donut butthole prominent snaggletooth on the right side of her mouth.

3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don't have any, is there a reason?
None. Michelle is taken good care of by her peers.

4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?
While she may have had her moments during her teen years, Michelle has really calmed down since. She is much more considerate of others before herself. Ron finds her attractive no matter what, and that's all the encouragement she needs.

5.) What's your character's ranking on the KINSEY SCALE?
1 - 'Predominantly heterosexual, incidentally homosexual' (Again, ask Raiku)

6.) Describe your character's happiest memory.
The moment She was finally able to make amends with Ron after their breakup and resume lives as a couple.

7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?

A lot of people. Ron, Raiku, and Sasha would definitely take the top 3 spots.

10.) Can you define a turning point in your character's life? Multiples are acceptable.
-The night that Raiku got them backstage passes at a Tojo concert. Things went south and Michelle found herself alone on the steps behind the auditorium. She was found by Hiroko and the pine marten ended up giving a pep talk that, depending on her response, could see Michelle taking two very different paths in life.

11.) Is there an animal you equate with your character?
...Fox?

12.) How is your character with technology? Super savvy, or way behind the times? Letters or email?
While she's not a technical super-genius, she does know her way around a computer thanks to all of the time she spent with Raiku.

13.) What does your character's bed look like when he/she wakes up? Are the covers off on one side of the bed, are they all curled around a pillow, sprawled everywhere? In what position might they sleep?
It honestly depends. Some nights, she curls up on her side of the bed and doesn't move until morning. Other times, it will look like a tornado rolled through her bedroom.

14.) How does your character react to temperature changes such as extreme heat and cold?
Being an arctic fox, Michelle naturally grows a heavier coat of fur during the winter to keep her warm. She suffers in the heat, though, and prefers to stay indoors when the temperature goes above 80.

15.) Is your character an early morning bird or a night owl?
Early bird - she can get more done in the day.

16.) Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones? Cousins, Uncles, Grandfathers, Aunts. Are there any others that your character practically considers a blood relative?
Raiku is like Michelle's lost sister.

17.) What's your character's desk/workspace look like? Are they neat or messy?
A bit in-between. She tries to keep things organized, but she gets so frazzled sometimes that it just tends to pile up.

18.) Is your character a good cook? What's their favorite recipe, whether they're good or not? (Microwave mac-and-cheese applies.)
She is an above-average cook. She picked up some things from her mother, but not as much as she could. Sasha has offered to give her lessons multiple times, but Michelle seems to be content filling any empty space in her stomach with a box of Twinkies...

Riding in the passenger seat of Ron's truck.

If she does, she hasn't let anybody know about them.

A-One - "One-Way Highway"
This song is the epitome of Michelle's hardheaded determination during her teenage years. She has a goal in mind, and she's willing to do whatever it takes to reach it - and fuck you if you think she can't reach it.

Buta Otome - "Pitch Black Snow"
The song has a very dark and sorrowful mood. It refers to a lot of loss, and succumbing to the "pitch black" feelings that have been nagging at them for a long time. This is the best way to describe Michelle during Tojo's concert - things could have easily taken a turn for the worse if Hiroko hadn't talked to her.

28.) If your character's life was a genre, what would it be?
Teen years - slice of life
Young adult - slice of life/Action comedy

Been kind of taken aback by how many new watches I've gotten recently. I'm happy you all like what I post enough to stick around for more, and I hope I don't scare too many of you off!

...in a Visual Novel featuring my characters?

I've been tossing around ideas for one, and there are programs out there that make scripting one easy if you have the assets, but I just thought I would take a poll to see if people were even interested.


-What genre would it be? Romance? Murder Mystery? Something else?

-Which of my characters would you like to see featured? Would it play from one of their viewpoints, or insert the player into the game?

Posting my commissioned artwork in my main gallery rather than scraps from now on.


I originally kept them in scraps to keep commissions from getting mixed in with art that I had drawn myself, but I'm probably not picking up a tablet pen for the forseeable future, so that's a moot point. :V

I will also be changing the Featured Submission out for a different commission/giftart every week or so. Sometimes it'll be recent, but I may also feature an older piece for the sake of keeping it fresh.


Making a journal about it because I wanted to bump that last one off my page. It's almost February why are you talking about Thanksgiving.
