...Would anybody be opposed if I started uploading commissioned work to this account?

This was the original purpose of the  falsemac account, but I ended up cleaning that one out. I thought about reactivating that one, but I have much more people watching me here, so I decided to consider this as an option.

With the ability to organize stuff into multiple folders, and folders into groups, it would actually be fairly easy to sort everything out (Just a hassle getting it all uploaded).

Just a thought, is all. I like to keep my commissioned work in one place for easy viewing, but I know not everyone has a weasyl account.

Was listening to some music today and some thoughts crossed my head that led to this question...

For those of you who follow/are interested in my characters, Which one(s) do you think would be best to play as in a video game? What type of video game would they be in? And why do you think they would be fun to play as?


I'm curious if anybody else has any thoughts on this. You don't have to write out a paragraph, but more detailed answers are appreciated!



And don't say Touhou just because I like Touhou. I actually want to hear some serious answers.

1.) - I've gotten a lot of new watchers recently. It's kind of perturbing, seeing as I haven't really posted anything other than character designs I've commissioned. So to those who've watched me in the past few months, why did you watch my page? What is it about the stuff I've posted that you find attractive? What would you like to see more of?


2.) - If I were to create a comic series based on my characters, would you prefer to follow one that was more action/drama oriented, or something along the lines of a slice-of-life comedy?

There's been a noticeably large influx in watchers recently. Guess I should say some things...

First off, thank you for finding the things I post interesting enough to watch my page! Even though I don't post a lot, it's nice to know the stuff I have on here warrants some attention. It means a lot to me!

Second, since you did watch my page afterall, can I ask what it is on my page that got your attention? What on here is stuff that you like or would like to see more of? I'm curious and like to know these things.

 stray recently opened for a unique set of coloring slots. If you have any sketches or lineart you want colored, she'll do it for a cheap price! Please make sure you have permission from the original artist, first!

So I meant to update the last journal but accidentally deleted it. whoops. ^^;

I have a couple of larger-scale commission projects, namely character sheets. details are as below:


Project 1: "Tojo In Tokyo" character sheets - Contracted to  magenta

Wanting to get a set of character sheets for the major and minor characters in Tojo's storyline. Rather than getting a fully-detailed ref sheet for each and every character, I find it better to have a single, fullbody shot of the character in their normal attire, in a pose that best reflects their personality.

-There will be a total of at least 18 fullbody shots (2 male, 10 female, 6 Mini-Michii). Each shot will consist of the character in a pose that reflects their personality, wearing their usual attire.

-Each fullbody will be flatcolored. Shading not necessary.

-*MUST BE WILLING TO WORK WITH TEXT DESCRIPTIONS*. I say this the way I do not to be rude, but because the majority of characters for this project have never been drawn before. I will provide as much detail on design and personality as I can for each.

-The character shots will be arranged into groups, each getting their own separate character sheet. This is something I can do on my own if you are willing to provide the source files/transparencies.


Project 2: Age Charts

On a much smaller scale, I was wanting to get a couple of age charts for a few of my more story-driven characters. All three characters have references that you can base the older/younger designs on. ALL CHARACTERS ARE FEMALE.

-Nobuko Tojo. J-pop idol. Images of ages 15, 18, 21, and 27. Representing different stages of her idol career.

-Michelle Lewis. Images of ages 16, 24, and 28. Representing different stages of her life and illustrating how her physique has changed over time.

-Stacy St. Clare. Chimera and result of a deranged science project. Images of ages 5, 8, 17, and 26. Representing her appearance before, during, and after her traumatic experience as a guinea pig for supernatural abilities.

I was in a bad spot emotionally yesterday, but I'm in a much better mood today.

So I haven't been able to find anyone on my own who I'd like to take on this project, so I'm posting a call out journal for anyone who might be interested!

It would be a series of about 4-5 full color images with backgrounds. Each one would be action-oriented, and contain about 2-3 characters. I would also like to do a few outfit designs for said characters if possible, but that's up for discussion. I can send more details if you want to hear more.

Just taking the time to post a journal entry. I'm still alive, if you were ever worried (pfft). I haven't had as much interaction on FA and other places due to my new job. I'm a truck driver now, so i'm gone most of the time. I still am, actually. But I managed to get a few days with a break so I can catch up on things. Activity will continue to be slow until further notice, so apologies for that.

Other than that, not much else is new. I'm loving my new job, even though it is very much a job. I'm making more than I ever could have at my last position, and I'm loving it a lot more. The only downside is being away from home for so long, but I understand everyone has to pay their dues.

Posting this journal to inform people that I will no longer be able to complete the commissions I took on a couple weeks ago. I'm not proud to be posting this, but there's no way I'm going to get these finished in time. I will be contacting the individual commissioners to inform them of this. To the few that paid, you will be refunded in the next 24 hours.

I will be starting CDL training and subsequent employment as an Over-the-Road Truck Driver next week. Because this means I'll be away from my computer for several months at a time, I won't really have the time to finish these commissions after I start. I had hoped to have them finished nearly a week ago, but that turned out not to be the case.

I also will probably not open for commissions anytime again, regardless of free time. They're just not for me. I've tried several times to start a steady flow of work, but I cannot keep up the pace necessary to finish them in a timely manner. I'm an impulsive artist. I only draw when I really feel like it, and if I don't feel like it, I won't touch the tablet. One cannot have this type of attitude if they intend to draw for money.

Again, I'm really sorry I have to do this, but I would rather tell you this now instead of disappearing and leaving everyone waiting for several months. I will probably just stick to personal and gift art from here on.

Wasn't really planning on doing this as they haven't exactly been successful in the past, but I've got to try all my options.


Long story short, my car is in the shop for a broken shifter mechanism. I'm looking at around $680 in repairs so far. This is a huge hit to my funds, and I would like to try and ease the hit any way possible.
