I feel like, while I am grateful to have a couple of friends who r rly talented artists, there's also a bit of a downside to it. Sometimes I just feel insanely embarrassed to post or share my work, including to my friends. & even if they say something nice in passing, it feels patronizing. like an: "oh nice." feels more like a: "ur little scribble is very nice sweetie. anyways-" & I don't want to feel like that but it is reality. So then I get into a loop of "delete everything. feel safe. start over."

I just wanted to reminisce about how when I was twelve-yeahs-ohwld I WISHED I had a much older brother all the time. One who I could "accidentally" walk in on furiously fapping and be like, "Woahhhh!
