Posted 4 months agoI recently started drawing in a new style and it's really fun to use but I definitely need more practice with it. So, I'm gonna make a post with some slots for free fulls & busts in the style, I will only be doing a limited amount so before I post an actual upload about it would anyone like to reserve a slot or two? I wanna ask my watchers first as a thanks for the support :)

Posted 4 months agoHad a nap and I feel a little better, I think I'm still waiting for it to fully sink in cause the smallest things are still getting me a little emotional but in general I have a bit more motivation to actually drawn n stuff now. (I still might be a bit quiet for a while though, sorry in advance if I take a long time with responses or get a bit snappy, I don't intend to inconvenience anyone but just in case IWC pls)
I came up with another YCH idea and have plans to maybe start on an original meme YCH I've had in mind for a while now, so lmk if ya'll want pings or anything. I'm probably gonna advertise at least the animated one here when uploads are enabled again, need to actually make the base version first though lol.

Posted 4 months agoAlready posted abt this on DA, I can't see many people noticing this journal here, but long story short something happened today and I'm really not doing too well.
I desperately need some kind of distractions so if anyone wants to do like a doodle art trade or maybe I could make one or two doodle designs in exchange for art or if anyone just wants to talk about random stuff let me know, I don't care what it is I just want to do something so I can take my mind off of what happened earlier. Idk if I have the energy to do any big fancy art pieces today, sorry, probably only messy doodles for now. I'll also use DA sta.sh to send finished art since uploads are sdisabled.
also, just saying to avoid any awkward situations: I can only draw animals, feral or anthro idc, and I only do SFW stuff, no NSFW. Suggestive stuff is fine, and if it's something that can reasonably pass as not being a kink that's okay too I guess, depends on what it is really.

UK delivery services suck
Posted 4 months agoI know I shouldn't be complaining because tons of other people have their packages held for weeks and Royal Mail often 'looses' people's mail/packages but my fursuit should've arrived yesterday and yet it showed the 'its been sent to the wrong DO and has been rerouted' message yesterday morning and hasn't updated since, maybe I'm being paranoid but I just wanna know that my silly is safe, not to mention I paid literally all of my savings for her, istg I only have £2 to my name rn there's no way I can pay any extra if it's gotten lost or anything like that 😠(also just to reiterate I'm mad at the delivery services not the seller, my fursuit maker has been awesome, friendly and extremely patient especially considering I needed to get my sister to message on my behalf quite a few times so going back and forth might have been a little confusing, I definitely recommend them, will add their credits when I first upload photo(s) of my suit ^^)
Anyways first fursuit soon let's gooo, I've waited almost 11 years for this moment :'D (hopefully, it should arrive today but honestly I don't really trust RM after seeing so many bad reviews and dealing with multiple delays myself in the past w/them).
I think I've only taken like 2 selfies in my entire life?? But you bet imma be taking photos 24/7 once Faye gets here, ngl there'll probably be more fursuit selfie uploads than actual art uploads in the future lmao.

Other payment options like Cashapp and Venmo aren't available in the UK so hopefully having a Ko-fi will also give another option to people who don't have or prefer not to use PayPal, afaik it accepts cards n stuff too but tbh I have no idea how Ko-fi works yet so I might be wrong lol, I might set up an acc on Stripe sometime in the future too if I'm able to.

Posted 7 months agoAs usual, I forgot to regularly check FA again, ngl I've kinda just accepted that I can't keep up with FA, I'll probably keep going inactive for months at a time, upload one or two pieces, go inactive again, and repeat, but I've got quite a bit of art done recently and am trying to save up some muns from adopts so I'll hopefully be a bit more active over the next few days.
I also got a Ko-fi recently! I have no idea how it works so there's nothing there yet, but I'm planning to upload some doodle adopts there soon (all the ones I have finished right now are feral, though I will probably make some anthro ones every now and again too). Adopts posted there will likely not be posted elsewhere and if/when I start making physical products like customs stickers they'll probably be advertised there, so if you have the time I'd really appreciate it if you'd check it out :3

Sorry for Inactivity (Hiatus??)
Posted 10 months agoFirst of all sorry I haven't been online for a while, anywhere really. If you've been trying to message me anywhere, here, discord, instagram, etc. I probably haven't responded yet due to being busy. I've been able to pop into my discord server a few times but haven't checked DMs anywhere so if you need my attention quicker comment here and I'll be sure to check as regularly as possible. Otherwise I still won't be checking DMs for a while as they really stress me out and with so much stuff happening irl extra stress making me ill again is the last thing I need rn.
I might take a little hiatus, at least until the holidays are over, so I don't get too stressed over posting online vs. prioritising irl stuff. Not sure yet though, if I randomly go quiet for a while that's probably the reason.
Anyways, the reason I've been so busy (aside from helping with Christmas stuff of course).
When my parents moved into our current house it was falling apart and it's gotten to the point where it could be dangerous, we moved thinking we could renovate it but didn't have the money to do so until now. They're literally knocking out and rebuilding parts of the house, currently we're doing the kitchen/living room which is where I previously had my laptop and tablet set up so I keep having to move around and that makes finding time and space to work on art really difficult. I'm currently stuck in my mum's craft room but I feel very uncomfortable in here for multiple reasons I won't go into so this doesn't turn into a long rant so yeah basically drawing isn't easy rn, it's also pretty uncomfortable sitting on a sofa cushion on the floor for hours at a time lol. My bedroom floor is on the verge of falling through so hopefully that's next, I'm hoping to make a space so I can use my laptop up there and not be watched 24/7 (mayhaps a chance to practice slightly more spicy content), for now I don't get many chances to sleep so I'm trying to focus my energy more on irl stuff at least until the stress of the holidays is over.
My mum also got tables at two different local craft fairs and said I could bring some of my own stuff to sell if I helped her set everything up so I've been making a ton of bracelets and stickers (it turns out crayola crayons work pretty nicely on sticker paper, or at least they do on the sticker paper I used). Since I've been focussing on stuff for the fairs I've only been able to get onto my laptop a few times and each time was mostly just to draw a digital sticker design so I've not got anything to post really aside from a few doodles from last month.
I did turn 3 of the stickers I made into a story/universe with multiple families though (I'm hoping to turn them into books or maybe make an animated show for YT or smth, the style just gives me storybook vibes, to be fair it was partially inspired by one of my favourite childhood books and a childhood fave show that imitated the original's book art style) and I've now got a new doodle art style I've really been enjoying drawing anthro cats in so I might open some commissions in this style if anyone is interested: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58881356/

Posted 11 months agoOkay so nothing has been confirmed yet, I haven't paid for it yet (just waiting for confirmation first) but I have claimed a slot from a local maker who I can easily collect the suit from in person instead of paying extra for shipping, for decent quality suits they're not expensive at all either. (Their slots are currently closed - lol sorry I took the last one - but devils.creati0ns on Instagram has some great suits and they've been really kind and patient with me so far, if you're in the UK I'd recommend checking them out/supporting their work ^^)
I've been dreaming of getting my own suit since I was 9 and 10 years later I'm finally (hopefully) going to get one. It's not the character I always thought it would be since I don't use her much anymore, but nevertheless I'm really excited, the character I'm getting has essentially all the same personality and interests as me with the only difference being that she is MUCH more outgoing so I'm hoping that it can help me get over some of my anxiety and maybe make some friends with similar interests to mine, or if not that then at least get out more often and be a bit more confident being myself.
And I mean people can't really complain about the real me being annoying anymore if that's a crucial part of the character's personality XD Obviously I'm not gonna go around pissing people off on purpose but I won't have to force myself to be 'normal' and be so scared about other people not liking me if I can just tell myself that it's in-character :)
I've always avoided photos at all costs because I don't like how I look in photos and can't pose to save my life but if/when I get my suit I might try and take photos with it on once in a while, if I do they'll probably be posted here before anywhere else (don't know if I want my whole family and friends seeing me dressed up in a cat costume just yet lmao)

• Animals or more animalistic humanoids only. I mainly draw ferals but can also do anthro. I can draw felines, canines, ponies, and may be able to attempt simple reptiles/other species. Please ask if you are unsure.
• 500x500 or 1000x1000 (1000x1000 is better quality but you may need to resize it to use it - the Lychee pride icon I uploaded yesterday is the only example I have of a 1000x1000 icon).
• All will be busts/halfbodies, 1 character per icon (unless the second character is small like a pet or smth like that).
• Can include small/simple objects/accessories.
• Background can be solid colour, gradient, or a simple pattern of your choice (including pride flags as long as they aren't anything bad or controversial).
• TAT for an unshaded/shaded icon is around 1-4 days, may be more if animation is added (wiggle lineart will take less time than full animation, but will still take longer than no animation).

experiences with Kalms?
Posted a year agoSorry if this is a really weird question but has anyone taken Kalms Day before (specifically for anxiety)? and if you have how was it for you/did they work?
I got some yesterday because within the last few months my anxiety has gotten way worse and so far I haven't found anything that has helped calm me down, I previously tried rescue remedy since it was recommended to me a while ago but because it's made of flower extracts + I'm allergic to pollen/grass/etc. it made me really ill.
I tried to do some research on Kalms before taking it and as far as I can tell valerian cannot be taken with a lot of other medications, including pain killers which I need to use a lot for chronic migraines. I'm currently only taking some vitamins and antihistamines but I can't find anywhere if I can take them at the same time as taking Kalms or not and with my past of reacting to plant-based stuff I'm really scared to take them, usually new medications make me really ill so I don't know if trying it is worth it or not in case it interacts with my other medication or sets off my allergies.
Sorry for the huge rant, genuinely on the verge of tears rn and honestly I just don't know what to do, I've found a few good reviews for them but also quite a lot saying they didn't work or that people can't tell if they worked. I don't want to risk making myself really ill again but at the same time I can't even do basic things anymore because they scare me too much so I desperately need to find something that'll help.
(also before anyone says because people keep saying this to me, I've been told to go to therapy by multiple people, I've asked my mum because I have no way to travel/pay for things myself at the moment, she has pretty much given up on trying to get me out in public so she won't even consider taking me to something like that even though I said I would try, literally all I have left is trying out different meds and hoping they'll do something)

I may or may not have made a new species that is based on a tiger, I'm planning to make them open to everyone once I've finished the trait references and all the other basic info about them and wanted to make some cheap adopts to start off the species but I'm not the best at drawing tigers (and honestly just don't want to take forever drawing adopts in case I take a break then forget to actually open the species afterwards, if I don't finish everything in one go/quickly then I'm likely to forget something lmao)
The species will be completely open + I'll be making a group/world on Toyhou.se and a server on Discord (and maybe a second account here as the official account of the species, if I do this then adopts and events are more likely to be posted there) so let me know if you'd like to be notified when they're opened or when the first few adopt batches are posted, I'll add you to a pinglist which you can request removal from at any time ^^

The pose/expression/what they are doing is completely up to you (or if you don't have an idea of a specific pose/action you'd like then if you give me a bit of info about their personality and/or likes + dislikes I can probably think of one myself)
I will NOT do any kind of NSFW/Fetish-related art, the most I will do is suggestive poses/clothing (I should warn that I am not great at drawing clothing). I have no experience drawing nsfw stuff so it makes me really uncomfortable trying to make something when I have no idea what I'm doing, and being Ace I have no intention of ever learning about all that stuff or how to draw it.
Complex designs are fine, but please be aware that these are not of the highest quality (lineart will be sketchy, colouring may be a bit messy) so they may not look very good, same goes for clothes or excessive accessories.
I mostly draw from my own body type which is pretty thin but I'm more than happy to try out different body types, that just means more practice for me ^^ (again, no guarantee they'll look good though). Larger busts are fine, I don't consider them sexual unless drawn with that specific intention, though I will not draw realistic nudity so don't bother asking (not talking about breasts, I'm sure you understand what I'm talking about).
I am most confident with Canines, Felines, and Ponies but I can also attempt other species (no humans or very humanoid characters please!!).
