All jokes aside, folks, I am gonna attempt another writing challenge this month, though things will be quite a bit different this time. Like last year, there will be little to no structure, meaning I'm gonna write whatever stories I want this time around but more importantly: I will be writing significantly less stories this year.


Genuinely, life's gotten much busier for me, and I'm currently working part-time at a place that loves to give me full-time hours (I'm good at my job, I suppose). So instead of one story every day, I will be doing one story every other, hence the fifteen stories on the list.


Here's hoping this year's got some good ditties, and that I get further than a single good story, heh.

Just gonna say: if you supported Trump, and had any idea what would be going into Project 2025, get out of here. My page is not a place for you, and I will not be nice about getting you gone if I need to.

To everyone else, whether or not you did your part and voted or don't even live in this extremely frustrating country, buckle up. Things are gonna be tough, but please, stay strong, and be kind to those you love. We're gonna have to get through this.

Welp, it's two days before the end of the month, and I got a single story into the event. It sucks, but hey, I ain't blaming myself for this one; October's always busy in the first place for me, and between 30+ hour weeks at work, my birthday, and dealing with the bills for a house I don't currently live at, it's no wonder I faltered so hard, hehe.

The way things've been going lately, I suspect that I might not be able to event start this event next year, just because I might not have the energy. That's up to future me, though, so we'll have to see.

I still kinda wanna write some of the stories I had on my list, so maybe I'll do a little ditty event sometime later (though later for me is sometimes in terms of years, heh). For now, though, I'm officially announcing that Kinktober 2024 is over, and here's to getting a couple quality stories out before this year finishes.

This story right here is one I would consider to be three scenes long: 7 pages, about, three scenes (an introduction, a rolling pin flat, then a pooltoy inflation for the conclusion). The page length will vary, depending on how much attention I give to each separate idea, but you can expect a story close in length to this for three scenes.

Edit: I will actually have to limit slots! Instead of going for a week, I will limit this first batch to eight separate slots. So far four are gone.

Let's face it folks, I haven't been able to keep up any pace worth mentioning past the first three days, so I'm cutting it off here.

I know, it's a real dang shame, and realistically this was probably gonna be the last time I was able to do the event anyways, but as sad as it is, I have to stop. I've been really struggling this past month, both mentally and socially, and I think it's time I cut myself some slack.

Despite the unfortunate timing of it all, the stories I have listed on my kinktober list are stories I want to finish. Since they'll be my last of the type, I wanna give them the time and care I would want them to have if I wasn't doing the event, so, over the next 6-8 months, I'll probably finish the lot of them, at no particular pace, writing on them whenever I feel the urge to do so or for a spot of practice.

That said, if you've read this far into this journal, I have some good news! Within the next few days, I will be opening up comms! That's right: I've been teasing opening them for months, but now I am actually in need of some money, so I'm finally gonna open the gates. First of all, Happy New Year, folks! This last year was a bit of a doozy in more ways than one, but hey, I made it through, and I'm working off that bout of burnout that Kinktober (or Kinkvember, I suppose) brought on, but this year will be different, and I'll be making changes to how I do things.

First of all, I'm making way more time for me and what I wanna do, so I'm pretty much only gonna write my own stories this upcoming year, with more than a few exceptions. I've got a whole bunch of series that I wanna get written, both furry stories, like the Glam series and a Pokémon series I wanna do, and the human stories, like the Merlin series. So I'm gonna be making progress on those as the year goes on and starting up some new ones once I make it through 'em (though that's an ambitious goal).

Second of all, I plan to get commissions up and started this year, not quite yet. I haven't decided on how to distributes the prices, because my writing style is so dang wordy, but I do want to start them. I definitely won't do them as often as the stories I wanna write, but whenever I do start taking commissions, they will have a higher priority than my own stories ('cause money's involved, of course).

Thirdly, despite all this planning, a rigid schedule is not what I'm looking to create. Part of the hard part of writing is trying to do things in a set amount of time: something I've never been good at, except when I hyperfixate on a task like Kinktober. I'm probably gonna get this year started with a few quick stories for a couple of friends on a server I'm in, then by finishing up those last ten Kinktober stories, but, hey, I'm gonna do whatever the heck I feel like, first and foremost.

That's pretty much all I've got planned for this next year, so, hopefully, look forwards to a bunch of nifty stories, and a few better-developed series. Thanks for reading, y'all!

So, I'm gonna start off by apologizing. I made a lot of promises to people who wanted stories from me, and I really, truly should not have, so, uh, sorry about that.


But, well, over these past few weeks, I've to realized that I've been dreading getting back to writing requests, and that all of the stories that I was doing for myself and just for plain gifts, which were sitting in my head for way less time, were far more enjoyable.


It's like, all the ideas that you guys proposed were neat and all, but, at this point, they've been weighing on me for so long, two whole years this coming November for the majority of them. Just, sitting here and staring at that list became so frustrating, so daunting, so impossible that I can't stand it anymore, especially with how... sour things have been going for me recently.


You know when you put something off for so long that it just becomes impossible to see the end of it?


Yeah. That.


So I'm cutting them off. I'm doing a fresh start with my request list, and it's going to remain empty until I think I am ready to start again, which I can guarantee won't be happening this year. Once I get done with Kinktober, I'm gonna go back to writing my own stories, which I haven't done in over two years now.

This morning, I got a message from my father saying my grandmother, his mother, had passed away. I need to deal with this, and I won't be done before October begins. Sorry.

I just ended up getting a year-long subscription to a VPN. It was relatively costly, but it unblocked this site for me, so I'll say it was worth it. Art is a go!

My university started blocking sites for some reason, and this one just so happened to fall on the chopping block. I'm so frustrated.

Sorry folks, but I'll probably be just a bit less active on here, at least until I can find a work around.

Okay, this was a tough decision to come to, but I had to make it eventually. I'm not gonna complete last year's Kinktober in time for this year's batch, so, I'm just not gonna complete 'em.


Yep. Did the math. I'd have to finish around 63 stories by the end of the year if I attempted to keep it up, and that's plain not happening, knowing me and my speed.


The next two months will be dedicated to me writing requests and whatever the heck I feel like, because the coming months are gonna be busy for me. To day marks the fifth year, to this exact date, that I've been writing stories and posting them online. Wild.

The first story I ever posted online was that first Glam story I made (Glam: Highschool) and boy was it shoddy. That was way back when I had no idea that this was, well, a fetish, and I was just wanting to make a goofy story.

I've come so far since then, in terms of skill and story structure and...

Five whole years.

So, as y'all can see, I didn't even get a week into Kinktober this time around, thanks entirely to a sudden bout of depression that killed my motivation for the event in its entirety. That plain sucks.

Luckily, I never committed to finishing Kinktober on time (take that, mental health!).

So here's how it's gonna work. For the rest of the year, I'm gonna write 5 Kinktober stories in a row, release them, then write a request story to help get through my lengthy list. If I'm lucky, I can finish Kinktober before the year ends, but I ain't kidding myself, hehe.

I got freaking depressed outta nowhere, so, like, those Kinktober stories are gonna be more than a little late to their days. My motivation has been murdered in cold blood.

To start off with, I'm still definitely doing Kinktober the way I did last year, but I wanna voice one of the concerns I've had with how I'm doing it:

There are no good lists.

Or rather, there are no good alternative lists.

See, almost every list spawned from the advent of the drama with Inktober's jerk of a creator wanted to be distinctly different from said list. That's entirely sensible; people wanted to get as far away from the name "Inktober" as they could.

The dilemma that creates for me, however, is that practically every single list I could find was themed. And that doesn't work for me.

See, the stories I made for Kinktober last year, and the stories that I intend to make this year, were based off of a list of random words, just one a day, no specific theme. The fun challenges that people have created for themselves, stuff like OCtober and Blacktober, are tied to specific themes, which is plain neat, but a pain for me.

Regardless of what happens, I need a list that meets the unthemed requirement, so I'm using the official Inktober list. To be clear, I don't agree with what the maker of Inktober tried to do with the copyrighting, or the plagiarism that created the lists in the first place. There's no but after that.

So, first off, I just wanna apologize for the delays, but life's been, shall I say, putting a damper on my ability to produce. It's been a... hectic few months, and I've learned quite a few things.

For one, I should probably never take on the amount of work that I have. It's not that I mind this many ideas ready to put down on paper, mind you: it's that the size of the stories I make, especially those that are veritable projects, is too much for my fingers, let alone my schedule and mind, to handle. I always say for my requests that I can only write as long as I'm given ideas to write about, but I've never set a limit on that, and that's proven to be dangerous. As in, 30+ pages of writing dangerous.

I meant it when I said I'm not good at writing short stories.

All the same, all that means is that I probably won't be doing requests for, likely, the rest of the year.
