Wow....because the fandom needs even more negative media.

I'm sorry, but I dont place a whole lot of trust in a network that has broadcasted shows like Jersey Shore and The Real World. They profit off of casting people in a negative light and I cant see this ending well.

EDIT: Well, I guess depending on who they pick, we could see a change from whats been on TV lately. The fandom now is filled with a much different generation then it was 10 years ago.

Lets just say, this has been quite a weekend for me. I had all my synapses firing at once, and for some reason beyond my own explanation, I made some pretty poor choices to handle my frustrations. I ended up making alot of decisions that were petty and not very well thought out.

While I do feel remorse for some of those actions, I still stand by what I did. I wouldnt change this experience because it really showed me a fresh perspective, and helped me come to some major revelations that rocked me to my very core.

1.) I've spent so much of my life, tailoring myself to be what others wanted. Its a belief that had been ingrained into my psyche since I was 6 years old. I never questioned the school counselors, the therapists, my parents and teachers, who all encouraged this practice of "disgarding traits that would ostercize me", "developing interests that were similar to my peers", or "tooling my personality to be more likeable so that others would want to befriend me". So, I started living multiple lives, I would change from clique to clique. I'd behave differently depending on who I was with and not once, not until now, had any of my friends ever told me that what I was doing was unhealthy. I never actually took the time to be myself because I never really thought of actually putting effort into being me. Being me is not what people wanted, being me kept me from having friends, being me was social poison. I HAD TO KILL WHO I WAS TO BE LOVED!...Its exhausting starting back to square one.

So far, this is all I know:
1.) I'm creative and artistic, in every aspect/facet
2.) I am a realist. You can take it as cynisism, but I look at the world from a rational and bleak perspective, because that is the reality of life. Sorry, but it is. : /
3.) I love to smoke pot.

...thats pretty much it, and its going to be a bitch building up from there.

But I'm sick of putting on a mask with whomever I'm with. I've started to learn whos with me for me, regardless of who "me" is. I'm done agonizing about what people think of me, because now I dont really give a shit. I'm starting fresh, I've been cleaning out my facebook, aim list, skype list, even numbers on my phone. I'm gonna try hard to keep friendships going by being who I feel I am inside, and if its not good enough for them to keep a friendship going, then I'll clear them off.

2.) Going back to the realist perspective, its clear to me now, that the fandom is just like anything else in society. Its just as corrupted, because even though we are furries, we are still human. We are flawed and therefore, far from perfect. We are in this world for our own benefit and ours alone. Deep down, we could care less who we hurt, what we destroy, what we consume, just as long as we reach our end goals. Our emotions are the strongest form of expression we have, and deep down those are merely facades to cover our altierior motives. We are manipulative, vindictive, and cruel beings. Even the most pious of men has motives that he keeps to himself. Its a simple fact of life and the sooner one accepts this, the sooner one no longer feels the baggage of the world upon them. My friends are human just like me. I still feel things like "trust", "love", and "compassion" for these people. My relationships with them doesnt change knowing this perspective, I have just become more aware of the true nature we all have deep down inside. I'm not going to dwell on the fact that the world is a cruel and horrible place, I'm simply going to do what I can to brave it and survive. I am driven to survive and to succeed, by any means neccessary.

Now I know that sounds expensive, but for $10, you are getting a full body badge that's hand drawn and hand colored, using all traditional medias.

Badges measure about 5" wide by 10" long

Badges will be laminated with clips. I'll be shipping out as many as I can before FWA.

I'm gonna open up 10 slots for the moment, so its a first come, first serve basis, but I plan to knock out each badge in a day or two, so spots should be opening up quickly.

We are in the process of booking a flight, however, due to family issues, he wont be able to park his car in long term parking and sadly, his family isnt willing to offer him a ride to the airport.

About not posting art on here in FOREVER.

I'm in the middle of reinventing my style, and its a little hard because I'm in the midst of balancing elements that make my art unique with the oppertunity to try something different.

Also, I'm a raging perfectionist and it just KILLS me when I post something that just isnt quite right.

Because I'm still pretty new to using a tablet, I usually sketch everything out on paper, make necessary changes, scan it, ink my stuff on the computer, make more necessary changes, and then comes the attempt to color it.

Its not that I think my art is crap, I just want to start cranking out work that deserves your views. Plus, then I have steller examples for my portfolio and can link for commission info blah blah blah.....

Yeah, I am in love with Misfits. I CANT WAIT FOR SERIES 3 TO PREMEIRE so I can start looking on youtube for uploads, because sadly, I dont think BBC AMERICA is gonna pick it up. Kinda sad Ethan isnt coming back for Series 3, but Kelly is still in the cast, so I dont care that much anymore <3.

Labor Day Sale at my work , and wouldnt ya know it, my giveashit just ran out.

I dont know what it is about people making an effort to be assholes EXCLUSIVELY on holidays. Who knows, maybe they didnt have their breakfast. Maybe their whiny ass privileged little shits decided to give their cellphone a bath this morning in oatmeal. OR MAYBE THEY ARE JUST ON THE RAG. I could imagine a plethera of ideas as to why their need to displace such frustration and anger seems so excuseable, but the fact remains that ITS NOT.

I know that my company decides to pay me overtime on the holidays, just to take this type of special abuse, and really I shouldnt be mad when in reality, they are just wasting their time (and their time is valuable), while I bank on their incompetence and miscommunications, but there is a breaking point in every job when you finally reach an impasse. When I no longer feel I can perform to the best of my capabilities because there is nothing I can do to make these people happy, then the job becomes unfufilling. I dont just work for a paycheck, I work because I ENJOY the place that I work. I have started skimming the area for internships, hopefully in something pertanent to my degree (which I've been doing for awhile now with diminishing results), but I feel as if I've finally been given a sign that is is indeed, time to move on.

The road seems uncertain and filled with insecurities with my abilities and financial stability, but I've always known that trials and tribulations are part of the course in life, I guess they just never felt so tangible and real until this morning. I wouldnt say this was a major life changing event, but it really grounded me and made me think of what I want to do with my future.

The next few weeks are gonna be brutal, but i feel so much change in a good way can take place. Wish me the best of luck.
