Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you get all the presents that you want and enjoy yourselves!

My dog Louis was put to sleep today, needless to say it has been very upsetting. he was 1 month short of his 15th birthday and due to recent health problems it was felt both by the vet and myself that it would not be fair to him to let him carry on in obvious discomfort and pain. i stayed with him for 6 hours this morning giving him comfort before the vet arrived, he tried his best to be comfortable but it was obvious that he was in pain. the injection was very quick, as if he simply had dropped off to sleep. we have selected a lovely spot at the top of the garden and he will be wrapped in his favourite blanket for his funeral later today.

R.I.P Louis, we will always love you and never forget you. you were an amazing pet and friend
