Posted 15 years agoGot back home last night...and of course my mother was doing laundry in the back room. I've been gone since 8PM Wednesday, and the greeting I get is my mom in my bedroom saying she'll "Finish the rest of the laundry tomorrow", and to "Not sleep in too late." O_o SO GLAD to be home, ya know?
Buy my niece is here visiting for a few more weeks, so I'm gonna be recovering with her cuz she's awesome. Also, I will be uploading craploads inna bit once I feel like moving.
Also, if you talked to me at the Hudson Fur parties about commissions I DO REMEMBER LoL I was drunk but not wasted so just leave me a message and I'll get to work. 7 Days to AC and FUCKING COUNTING!!
Posted 15 years agoGIMME ANTHROCON NOW! My first since 2007, and it's time for a grand reunion with me and 'the weird'.
I have some birthday gift art for RedFox that needs to be (bad)touched up and colored, and I've finished 2 out of the 3 sketchbook commissions for Kitt59. The third one I needed to restart because it was a piece of suck. Also, I need to at least clean up the random extra art in his book that I did of my own violation...I mean volition. O_o
Look for him at the con, and ask to look at the damn book if he doesn't shove it in yer face cuz I told him to. I'm trying to get some commissions, but I fear that the only ones that will come my way as a result of flipping through that book will be pr0n...and I kinda don't feel entirely comfortable getting commissioned and paid for that stuff, LoL. HOWEVER if you're willing to submit to my money demands, then I might be willing to negotiate.
Damn, I'm kinda of a snubby artist sometimes. What was I talking about again?
OH YES! Anthrocon is only a week away and I'm going to explode a lot. Our caravan will be arriving about noonish in good ol' Pittsburgh, and making our way to the Omni for our massive rooms. My accomplices include the following:

Anthrocon and stuff
Posted 15 years agoYeah yeah I'm going this year...I haven't been in the past 2 or something, but I think I want to have as much fun this year as I can. I plan on going back to school next year at some point, so I wanna get all my sillyness outta my system.
Since my father passed away in February, I realized how much stuff I'd been missing the past few years. While AC isn't really the one of the places my dad would want me to spend some of them money he left me, I know he would want me to enjoy myself with it. Besides, everyone needs a 4 day bender once and a while!
I've been working on a big pile of sketchbook commissions for kitt59 which are going well. I hadn't drawn any anthro stuff since I drew my character Claire and all her breast-ness. So in about a month or so, I'll be posting a buncha pieces before I gotta eventually give him his book back. Be prepared for pr0n!!
That's all for now, I'm off to draw something non-anthro for my mommy for Mommy's Day on Sunday *HINT HINT* Don't forget your moms, guys!!!

Commissions, shmomissions...anybody?
Posted 15 years agoYes, I dare say, commissions. I need to get in the habit of doing art more regularly. Since my dad died last month (yeah that happened it blows like the wind), I've let my plans and progress slip. So, I'm getting into the habit of drawing a hell of a lot more, and I'd like you all to reap the benefits.
I am opening up for commission again. I never really got that many aside from my friends or acquaintances (damn that's a bitch of a word to remember how to spell), but I'd like to do it again anyway. I can produce good work a lot faster than I was able to before, so I think it's time to try my hand at it again.....opening the flood gates, if you may.
I do NOT do digital art because I suck hard at it efficiency wise. I do pencil, ink, and marker works. My prices vary with media, size, and detail content but there are a few flat basics I will list here for the time being:
One Character Commissions
~ B&W pencil: $15
~ B&W Ink: $20
~ Color: $30
(lol simple right I gotta start somewhere)
Two+ Character Commissions
~ B&W pencil: $20 (+ $3 for each after initial two)
~ B&W ink: $30 (+ $3 for each after initial two)
~ Color: $40 (+ $5 for each after initial two)
Message me if you would like a more detailed and subjective piece and we'll talk price
The prices are subject to change in the future, and will be taken through PayPal. Once I'm more in the flow of doing this stuff, I'll probably develop some sort of a sliding scale for the pricing. And please, NO pr0n requests until I announce I'm gonna start doing pr0n, LoL.
I will be able to scan my progress and promptly update you on the status of your piece. When it's done, I will send it through the regular ol' mail to any address you want. Don't worry, I'll stamp DO NOT BEND all over the envelope.

*..::Home is Where the Heart Is::..*
Posted 17 years agoI'm back bitches! FurFright was...insane. There were good fun times, crazy parties, and almost a disaster (crisis averted). Now I have a small series of drawings and some commission stuff to do. XD
Oh yeah, and someone was selling Reboot pins in the dealers den and my buddy Red bought a few and threw them at us. So yeah, I have a Reboot pin. Since no one can resist rebooting people with reboot pins, I put mine on the jacket I was wearing on the left chest pocket. I figured this would eliminate the potential poke-fest considering how close the pin was to my boob. Boy howdy was I mistaken. Goddammit, I hate socially inept mother fuckers.
But overall the con was good. Driving there by myself took like less than two and a half hours, and just about 1/3 of a tank of gas. That kicks so much ass, I might just have to visit my buddy Kuro a shitload more often. I didn't realize it was such a short trip because I'd never made it alone before. It ain't no thang! LoL shoot me if I ever say that again.
So yeah, onto describing future projects! My main party costume this year was a smexy naughty nurse. ((Don't worry, there will be pics!)) My buddy Red, him and his mind of a dirty old man, says to me, "Hey, Amy...I want you to draw me a commission...of your character, in the nurses outfit, giving me a sponge bath." ((the dots are there because he took a bunch of drunk pauses))
Dammit Red you're a bastard, but damn if that isn't a cute idea! I have a few ideas that followed after that one to make it into a small series of drawings. Each one will feature my character (because I'm a vain mother fucker I guess) and also guest starring a friend of mine that was at the con. I'm going to list who they are so they can feel special and anticipate the sexiness for their faces that will ensue!! Here we go:

Mind you, these are just the ones I have immediate ideas for. Some others may follow when I get inspired.
Then there's just cute regular plain ol' furry art and commissions to work on. One is from Diana. She tossed me her sketchbook and said go crazy! I totally already have an idea that I think she'll dig. The other sketchbook hurled in my vicinity was from Kuro, who is one of my favorite foxes evar! (The other is Red, duh.) I'm not quite sure what to draw for Kuro yet, but I'll think of something. I'm actually thinking of drawing the nurse thingy in his book too, so he can keeps it!
Hmmm things to do! I shall be entertained this fall!
But anyway, a quick rundown of the weekend:
~Friday~
Arrived at FurFright at about 2:30 pm. I called people up and found my friends all over! Soon after, it was drinky smokey time which lasted until just about 18 hours ago.
~Saturday~
Once we all FINALLY got together in the lobby, a bunch of us went out to lunch at Singo Sushi, which is the most kick ass little tiny (our group filled the place) asian food joint ever. It would be even better if there had been more than one guy making all the food, but still it was delicious. It also helped that our little waitress was really hot...
Then there was hanging out of everywhere, being a nutcase and I hung around a lot with Boomer X3
Red Fox grabbed me and Tigra to take us to the bar in our costumes because he told the bartender he had bitches. ^_^
Then there was party time! A bunch of us decorated the party room with all kinda of silly things, so it looked cool and Halloweeny. I saw bunches of people. Then there was a lot of staying up all night.
~Sunday~
Checked out, and farted around mostly. Some of the remaining friends skipped off to the water park that got attached to the hotel. I drank 2 cosmos at the bar. Kuro got outta work at 6 and came back to the con, then the whole Jersey caravan left LoL. Once we all got super tired, me n Rufus went over to Kuro's place. We watched a mini-marathon of House, then went to sleep. Damn that was some good sleep. It seems that Red Fox isn't the only one who owns a coma-inducing couch.
~Monday~
Finally rolled off the couch and headed back to the hotel to pick up our cars. Departure was bittersweet.
I got home around 2-ish, and ate a sandwich from WaWa. And now I'm watching M*A*S*H. LoL

Mind you, these are just the ones I have immediate ideas for. Some others may follow when I get inspired.
Then there's just cute regular plain ol' furry art and commissions to work on. One is from Diana. She tossed me her sketchbook and said go crazy! I totally already have an idea that I think she'll dig. The other sketchbook hurled in my vicinity was from Kuro, who is one of my favorite foxes evar! (The other is Red, duh.) I'm not quite sure what to draw for Kuro yet, but I'll think of something. I'm actually thinking of drawing the nurse thingy in his book too, so he can keeps it!
Hmmm things to do! I shall be entertained this fall!
But anyway, a quick rundown of the weekend:
~Friday~
Arrived at FurFright at about 2:30 pm. I called people up and found my friends all over! Soon after, it was drinky smokey time which lasted until just about 18 hours ago.
~Saturday~
Once we all FINALLY got together in the lobby, a bunch of us went out to lunch at Singo Sushi, which is the most kick ass little tiny (our group filled the place) asian food joint ever. It would be even better if there had been more than one guy making all the food, but still it was delicious. It also helped that our little waitress was really hot...
Then there was hanging out of everywhere, being a nutcase and I hung around a lot with Boomer X3
Red Fox grabbed me and Tigra to take us to the bar in our costumes because he told the bartender he had bitches. ^_^
Then there was party time! A bunch of us decorated the party room with all kinda of silly things, so it looked cool and Halloweeny. I saw bunches of people. Then there was a lot of staying up all night.
~Sunday~
Checked out, and farted around mostly. Some of the remaining friends skipped off to the water park that got attached to the hotel. I drank 2 cosmos at the bar. Kuro got outta work at 6 and came back to the con, then the whole Jersey caravan left LoL. Once we all got super tired, me n Rufus went over to Kuro's place. We watched a mini-marathon of House, then went to sleep. Damn that was some good sleep. It seems that Red Fox isn't the only one who owns a coma-inducing couch.
~Monday~
Finally rolled off the couch and headed back to the hotel to pick up our cars. Departure was bittersweet.
I got home around 2-ish, and ate a sandwich from WaWa. And now I'm watching M*A*S*H. LoL
I'm tired of typing I wanna draw and relax before I have to pump myself full of caffeine and go to work. X_X

Posted 17 years agoBLARG!! I've been drawing comic stuff for two days straight! I'm running out markerness, and I just ordered new ones yesterday.
The prologue chapter is almost done being posted on my DeviatnArt and stuff. It's non-anthro but eh, I think it's worth reading.
Also, if you don't want to see me starve to death, feed me money. I'm doing some commission stuff still, and taking straight up donations, too. X_x

I had someone do that to me, and it's annoying. That's not what I mean when I say critique. People didn't tell Picasso that he shouldn't put both eyes on the same side of the face, ya know. I'm on a one week hiatus because I wanna work on other stuff for a while. @_@
MAKE A NOTE!! I will be actually POSTING the comic on my DeviantArt starting JANUARY 31st!! I think I'm just going to go with biweekly updates (Tuesdays and Thursdays) so that I don't have to rush the production. X_x I'm so nervous about how it's going to go over with the interwebs. But I'm more proud of myself that I set a goal of finishing a chapter while on winter break, and I did it (and then some)!
Anyway, please check back on the 31st for the first page! I will appreciate any feedback, positive or negative (but don't be a dick, LoL).

Posted 18 years agoHola everybody! I've been busy lately! But today I would like to announce that I have just finished the pencil sketches for the rest of the Prologue chapter (22 mother f-ing pages). X_x
But yeah I just have to ink like 5 or 6 of them, and color about the same. But I need to get some more cool grey scale markers before I can be done. It's slow going right now because my gray scale set is drying up...and that's most of what these pages has. Luckily my dad sent me my Christmas $$$ so I can get the markers! So I'll just work on the parts that don't have gray. I'm still excited as hell about this! XD
Anyway, I'm hopefully gonna also get my ass in gear for my Christmas posting so I have to stop being lazy. Now that I'm out of school, I can focus more on drawing stuff.
I haven't started the anthro comic yet. I want to get at least one chapter done of the other comic before I start on the other. But I really can't wait to draw that one up either. but in the mean time I'll eventually post characters from it.

I'm mostly concentrating on line art and stuff right now. I need to go to the store to pick up more markers. My grey scale is drying up fast. And my crimson red...and I really need that markers cuz blood is abundant. O_o And my micron pens are dying, too. My wallet hurts...
I had bad art block for a while, then I got the fuck over it and drew like 8 pages in the past three days. I'm on a roll dammit!!
I'm gonna have to put it aside for a while so I can study for a math final on Wednesday...I fuckin' hate math. Wish me luck so I don't have to take this class again!
Alrighty then, I must go dig my car out of the ice so I can go to work. Boo that.
