Sketch requests
Posted 7 years agoAfter some thought and consideration, I've decided to try and get off my lazy tail and improve my drawing skills. I just never know what to draw and don't have much to give sufficient inspiration. So that's where I figure you all come in. I'm looking to try and set up sketching goals for myself month by month so I am opening up 4 slots for a free sketch commission. My drawing skills are not fantastic hence why I am trying to improve. But they are better than stick figures. So if you are looking to help polish a roo's artistic skills as well as receive some FREE sketched art, then please read the following rules:
1) Please do not harass me daily asking when the sketch will be finished. I do work a full time job. I will try and finish one sketch a week though don't be surprised if it takes longer
2) Please don't trash the art. I'm not saying you can't provide some constructive criticism since this is all me attempting to learn more but don't be malicious and say it's garbage. It's free after all.
3) It will be a sketch. No coloring, shading, or complex backgrounds at this time. (I'll work towards that later).
4) Have an idea, even a basic one, of what you want (poses, actions, props, etc) the more help the better. Again, I'm doing this to gain practice and inspiration
5) See rules 1-4.
Why would you want a free sketch from me when I haven't tried drawing in a long time and don't have much art of my own uploaded yet? Well I'm glad you asked. Not only would you get FREE art, you would also be helping an artist to grow simply by being patient and having an idea. Still not good enough? Well... Those getting free sketches will have my undying admiration and thanks. As well as a discount on commissioned art if/when I start accepting paid commissions! So nab them while you can!
To claim a slot, reply here or send me a note. If you don't get one this time, I do plan on opening up 4 more slots after I get these done.

Weekly music playlist thing...
Posted 12 years agoSo I wanted to make a journal to take suggestions as to what types of music I should listen to via the spotify radio app thing on my phone. I need something that might be appropriate to the day and good to listen to through work. So far the days I have stations for are:
Monday: Alt rock
Tuesday: 2000s
Wednesday: Hip-hop
Thursday: Trance/edm
Friday: Comedy
All of the stations can be changed and I'm always looking for new suggestions

What nobody knows about Matthew is that he harbors a deep inner desire to be loved by someone special, something he will never experience due to his busy schedule of rescuing Baby Pandas from bamboo fires and intercepting missiles over war torn countries with a frisbee.
One thing is certain, when a crisis is averted, that handsome man walking off into the horizon alone is a Matthew.

A Matt (or just Mat) will make the best boyfriend/guyfriend ever. With their big brown eyes, and heart-melting smile it's hard not to fall for them. They are different, in a beautiful way. Even though they've had a bad past, you'll never know it. They are really strong people, and they change for the better. They are there when you need them, and they value their friendships. They like to look good, and dress well. Handsome, and charming. Very successful at life, make great Dads. Known to be players but when they meet that special girl, their sold. Matt's come off as tough and solid, but deep down, their soft side comes out and you see the sweet gentleman in them. They're not popular, but not a loner either. Friends love them, and guys want to be him. They have a really laid back attitude about themselves, but at the same time they can be the life of the party. Even though they can be a jerk at times, they mean well and are really the nicest guys ever. If you have a Matt, don't let him go. None other compares.
