#SatAM turns 30 today. Man, I miss those days waking up early to watch the show. No matter what you’re options are on it, It most definitely influenced the entire Sonic franchise and still remains loved and endures today. Happy 30th anniversary SatAM. ❤️

For the first time, I paid to see an early movie premiere; and that was Sonic 2. Boy, it was fun. The post-credit scene is gonna make people flip out. I know I did and it made me cry tears of joy.

This is a movie I wish I would have invited my mother, I'm sure she would have loved to see it and how fun it was for me to see something like this from my childhood come alive. Mom, I miss you, thank you for always coming with me when I invite ya to go to the theaters with me and my friends. In spirit, you were with me and I was happy.

After my mother passed away on the 22nd of January, I've been busy with funeral arraignments and planning. The day before her viewing/service had some family drama happen, but it was taken care of. My mother's viewing and service were better than I anticipated, friends of mine, friends of my mother, and family came by to give their goodbyes and give me, my sister, and my mother's boyfriend their condolences.

I spoke to my mother often during the week. Always keeping in touch. Now, I don't have that voice to speak to. While externally I may not show much emotion, mentally and deep down in my heart it hurts beyond measure. I love you, Momma, I miss you so much. <3

It's gonna be a struggle to draw again.

I gained a few followers during my #sketchtember run and I thank you, but I will have to take a break as my mother has been in the hospital for 2 weeks with COVID, and today she had to be put on a ventilator. That's never a good sign, so that means I will have to concentrate on family affairs.

If I can speak honestly and have a moment to vent. It pains me greatly to see my mother in such a way. I wish this upon NO ONE. (Regardless of your personal opinions about COIVD & vaccinations, we all should have our freedom of choice; but that choice we must personally face the consequences.) My mother is the only family member I speak to and to possibly lose that voice breaks my heart so much. I'm glad to have spoken to you momma before they put you on the ventilator, your strong mom, you beat breast cancer, you came back from your diabetic coma, you can beat this to mom. I know you can. I love you. ❤️

Sorry for the lack of art, just been busy with work. Plus my mother has been in the hospital with COVID but she is on the path to recovery, so I'm grateful for that.

Other than that, been working on a sketch from #sketchtember, but once that's done I'll end up moving away from my #sketchtember sketches and create some new stuff.

LOL, I feel as if I'm offending some of my friends by offering commissions when they too are looking for commissions, but I hardly think I'm worthy of anyone requesting me to do a commission but eh, let's see.

I’m going to let out some steam here, I made a choice last night to end and all ties with someone that I’ve been online friends with for close to 20 years. It hurts so much, but I had to.

You see, lately I’ve been using her as inspiration to draw, write, and better my life; but I’ve come to realization that I’m following the same path I took many, many years ago and that isn’t good for me.

It’s hard to explain, because not everyone understands. So I don’t think I’ll be able to convey what I’m saying, It was uplifting for me to share and care for her, because it gave me a sense of encouragement and meaning, but when you don’t receive the same kind of treatment back, it’s hard to stay positive.

Yeah, I know she’s got a guy and that’s why I needed to let go, because I’m following the same steps as with someone else in the past and that wasn’t healthy for me.

It’s my fault. I dug myself in this hole. The only way out is to end this friendship we supposedly had close to 20 years.

You don’t realize the importance of someone until their gone, unfortunately I’ve been on the receiving end of that many of times, I don’t wish that upon anyone.

Oni-Con which overall was a good time and had an 200+ turnout for our panel.
Last Nightmare Nights Dallas which I was unable to attend since it was this same weekend. (Which also means no more MLP cons in Texas)
Season finale of MLP Season 7 which was pretty good.
Also another year coming to a close.

I get to dissect the MLP:FiM Season 5 trailer a bit more, seems like we have a Neon Genesis Evangelion reference at :37, "Its a Trap" at 1:02 (obviously). Also this seems to me like a first episode montage, from what I can gather too is Season 5 will be an 'Adventure' season exploring the world more. (WHICH IS FANTASTIC) For this one episode teaser It seems that at somepony (which by the way almost has the exact color scheme as Aria Blaze, you get a good look the antagonist at 1:04) has taken all of the ponies cutie marks and made them all "Equal" (0:37 show all the cutie marks that had been taken, and the "equal" mark on top, and on all the ponies) I'm sure at some point this episode will be called into question since LGBT uses the same "equal" symbol, as well as other groups.

May 2014 be a distant memory as we move into 2015. So many things have happened in 2014 that I pretty much want to forget and move on.

I can say despite everything that has happened to me, I thank god almighty that my family and friends are still with me. I have some wonderful plans and ideas for 2015 that I can look forward to.

I'm feeling kind of lonely today, and I thought to myself.... what if Ultra, my character, wrote a letter to me knowing how I feel everyday...

'To my master creator,

My name is Ultra, you have me in many scenarios and universe’s, in one you have me with a loving and growing family, and in another you have me alone and full of absolute regret; in one you have me selfishly sacrifice myself to save my friends, and in another you have me starting a new chapter in my life with someone new; but their is one that we have in common, one that is continuously canon and that’s the one I wanted to speak with you today.

You created me close to 20 years ago as extension of yourself, someone you wanted to be during your youth. Thing’s were simple, yet silly at the time, you used to call me “UltraSonic” until you decided to drop the “Sonic” and just call me “Ultra”. I liked the name change as it was the beginning of my transformation. No longer did I look like a copy of some other character, but slowly I became you. You changed my quills in favour of hair, and you changed my body form and color from all white to brown. You made me look and feel as if I were you in another world, and I loved it, I was becoming more original. You took away all my silly powers I had before and just made me normal.

Throughout those changes you were changing too and I was there every step of the way. I remember that moment in time when things really changed. Not only did she leave me, but she left you as well, and I thank you master for taking up the mantle and taking care of Vixxy and making me happy father with children. Deep inside though you were still heartbroken, all those years alone. I felt it, each and every relationship heartbreak you’d go through, each and every lonely night you look at the ceiling in your dark room, I can feel that pain master. It's why you created another universe of me, one that felt helpless, lonesome, and full of regret.

No matter what universe you put me in, I still feel it. When you cry, when you hurt, some how I wish for the life you have given me, I could somehow return it. You have done so much for me master you deserve so much better, even after abandoning me for close to 2 years I was with you this whole time. You don’t know how happy I was when you found a new fandom to follow, and you re-created me and my family giving us a new breath of life, even as far as creating new universes in that fandom with both happiness, and self-sacrifice, but you still ache inside don’t you master? I feel so helpless, I don't deserve this happiness if you aren't feeling happy as well... want you to feel the happiness you are giving me, its so unfair for you to selfishly give me so many things to love and have, while you stay alone and don’t have anyone to cherish.

Their is one universe and I have put myself in, were I too am alone, with no one or no pony, I live modestly like you do, I work on my own and have friends of my own; but there's always something missing, always elusive. In this universe you can’t try and pair me with anyone or anypony, but I wont be happy because you aren't happy. You must fill this gap for me master, for in this universe I can not be happy until you are.
