I've added a small thing to my commission info:

I will not be accepting comic commissions. Now that wasn't something explicitly stated in my terms but I feel I need to make this known. After doing a recent comic commission I just cannot confidently accept them, as it takes up a lot of my time and more often becomes tedious, which negatively effects the art.

So from this moment on I will not accept any comic commissoins, I may open comic ych's if I'm up to the task but otherwise the only comics I'll be making are in my own time.

Thanks for coming to those who could make it.

It was definitely a good idea to take last week off, I probably wouldn't have been able to make much art anyway. Now I feel much more refreshed and ready to draw.

And speaking of, I thought I'd share some of my upcoming projects I have in the wings:

3. More art of this cutie because there's never enough
4. Work on my Shae Info Sheet

There will probably be more in the future but this is what I have planned at the moment.

There will be minimal art or streaming this week, I just can’t.

I’ll also probably be avoiding social media for health and stress reasons, I might pop in from time to time but I’m keeping it all to a minimum. (i will however, answer asks and messages during the time)

Halloween is over and Christmas is right around the corner, (ha) so I'd like to know what kind of adopts you'd like to see me make in the future. They can be Christmas themed or just about anything, I just want to hear your feedback about my adoptables.

Yup, after so long of having them closed, I've decided to reopen my requests to the public again. But I'd like to quote my own profile:
"I'm reopening requests, but just so you know I don't take 'orders'. It isn't likely I'll do your request if you go, "draw ____ doing ____
in this specific way." If you ask me like this I'll point you to my commission page. But if you want to leave friendly suggestions, like
"I think you'll like ____" or "____ would look good in your style" I will be more keen to drawing it.

This doesn't mean that I will draw your request though, most of the time I save requests for when I'm out of art ideas, so I may draw
it months from the request date, or not at all."So yeah, I'm basically using requests as a crutch when I run out of drawing ideas and need a little boost, and, unless you decide to commission me instead, requests aren't likely to be done in any timely fashion, if at all if I don't find interest in it. If you'd like a guidline to requesting things from me just follow these two rules: if it's fandom related(better if it's a fandom you know i'm interested in) the likelihood will be greater, if you try to order me to do it or make your OCs that you know I am not interested in/know nothing about, well... I have commissions open for a reason.

Sorry for not making any sort of formal notification, but my FurAffinity was well overdue for a visual update. (i'd kept the same description since I began and... wow it was cringy as hell)

I also really needed a better way to organize my gallery folders, which are modeled a little more like my DeviantArt folders, but with less options. (because this account is newer and doesn't have as many pieces as DA does, which is my oldest account) My profile has also changed considering some of the links were old and bunk, and my original self description was... hoo boy. It was something. I also deleted some scrap art and adoptable reminders from my gallery and went through all my favorites to remove submissions that had been removed.

I'm also considering having my own commission posts for FA so people aren't forced to move offsite to see it, which probably wont happen for a couple of days if I decide to go ahead with it. (art agenda will stay though because it's easier to just have one post to edit the queue through) But yeah, that's everything that's changed, again sorry for no heads up.

That's all the recent posts that I'd done, minus sketches and the ilk. I might post those, I might not, though it'll just be more of my OC, Gum-gum.

But yeah, for now I'm done.

I'd forgotten to post a lot of my artwork onto here that I've been doing through the week, so i'm going to try and post it all now. Just giving you guys a warning.

This was a long time coming, but I finally got around to updating my commission info. Now the art is much more reflective of what my skills are currently and is a lot simpler to navigate through. (and not quite so gaudily colored) If you'd like a link to the whole commission sheet click here. You can also see all the info on my Commission Info tab at the top of my profile.

I also want to let you all know that a lot of options have been removed and prices have been altered somewhat. I no longer offer pixel commissions. I just don't do enough pixel art so I don't feel I can guarantee a quality product doing them. I've also gotten rid of the headshot and waist up options in lieu of a better system; icons, busts, full, template. Now headshot option would be under icon, and waist ups go under bust. I also bumped up some of the prices for my templates, as they take a lot more effort to make and how I had them priced prior didn't feel as if it reflected that. I've also altered prices slightly on certain options, but it's nothing drastic.

I hope this sheds some light on the changes that I've made and that you'll consider commissioning me in the future.

First of all I just want to give a big thank you to those who bought the Mantacorn adopts, or even just complimented their design. I really do appreciate it so very much. I've also got plenty of comments asking if I was going to make the species into a MYO, and initially I wasn't sure anyone would really be willing to purchase MYO slots from me, but I've got quite a few asking for me to do it so I finally caved and said, "yanno what, WHY NOT?" So now expect Mantacorn MYOs in the future.

Problem is, this is going to take me time to develop, I've never created a MYO before, much less a purchasable species besides one offs, so this is entirely new territory I'm not all that used to.

How Can I Help?
Well for a start, if you have any information, tutorials or otherwise, about setting up MYO slots, pricing, and anything similar, please feel free to send it to me. I'm quite the perfectionist, I don't want to make mistakes, especially when it involves money like this, so any little piece of info you can offer me would be a great help. Also, please feel free to tell me what you'd like to see from the Mantacorns, what features you'd imagine them having, or just silly traits you'd like to see in the species. I always make an effort to read everything sent so you can either comment on this journal or on my DA page with suggestions.

When Are They Gonna Come Out?
It's gonna take me a while, I need to get to a point where all my commissions are finished before I start this, meaning that I might close my commissions in order to focus fully on this project. So expect them either this month or next month at the latest. And again if you wanna help speed the process up a bit give me ideas for them, I'd love to hear what you all have to think.


I hope this can get y'all hyped for the species, I sure as heck am. I didn't expect as much love towards them that has been shown, so I hope I can live up to those expectations! Thanks for reading.

I’m planning to call them Mantacorns, which are small aquatic unicorns about the size of miniature horses. Please be aware that until I figure out what I'd like to do with them, they are a closed species. Tell me what you think in the comments.

Alright for those who don’t follow my DeviantArt, here’s a little journal about what’s going on there, but right now I’ll just give you a summarized version about what’s going on.

To put it simply, the reason I haven’t been on here much isn’t only because of the whole Google Chrome account debacle, which has more or less been settled with very minimal shit being lost in the process besides some YouTube links. I’ve been spending a HUUGE amount of my time coding pages for my DeviantArt. And I know what you’re thinking, “why are you doing that Umbree? Only people with those stupid Core accounts can get those custom widget pieces of poo.”

Well the thing is, I got myself a Core account. Initially it was only going to be so I can change my name but looking at all the features I’m going to try and see if I can keep it, which means I’m gonna be shifting my focus towards actually making art into my job.

This doesn’t mean I’ll be getting a Patreon and putting my art behind paywall, I couldn’t do that in all conscious. Instead I’m going to focus on making Adoptables, Original Species, MYO’s, and even revamping my commission info. (yes again) I want to actually earn from my art so that I can keep these perks and maybe even spend it on others.

So what do you need to do? Well you can commission me! But if you don’t have the wallet for that just suggest things you’d like to see me sell in the near future, I’m open to any and all ideas, so leave them in the comments.

Okay guys so I’ thinking of making some more adopts to help make some more money. (since I keep spending it on video games =u=) And I want to get a wireless attachment for my tablet, which costs around forty dollars.

So what would you guys like to see me make, adopt wise? It could be a species, maybe character adopts, a rolling theme, anything. What would you guys like to see me make?

I regret to say that I have to close my Requests for the time being. Right now I have too many piled up and if it gets any bigger it'll cause quite a number of problems for myself and those who request from me. I literally have over 20 requests backed up that I KNOW of, and I'm very sure there are more that I've forgotten about.

So until I can get through all of them, requests are closed.
