Good news for any fans of the UmiBot Project, after much fiddling, trial, errors and fussing we finally have hir back online! We were chasing a few bugs and issues that had completely sidelined the bot but thankfully that all seems to be resolved now. Thank you for your patience everyone!

Hello sweeties,

Just a quick message to all those people who have been trying to access UmiBot of late and been getting strange, missing or error replies, even for stuff that used to work. We have been having some very strange issues with the Bot and have been trying to resolve these as quickly as possible. I have spent a good while running tests, fiddling with settings and going through recently added code to see if I can see anything that would cause such issues... alas currently nothing obvious is appearing.

What we are going to do is completely reinstall the core program that takes all the data, code and writing I have done for UmiBot and changes them into a chatbot. At the same time we are going to update to the most recent version of the operating system for that program. I need to catch the super tech support dragon who helps me with these things online to get it done so I am hoping out time zones and scheduled will cross soon as I know people have already been very patient with this issue and the bot has been down far longer than I am comfortable with.

Please rest assured we are looking into this and claws crossed will have a working solution soon! In the meantime lots of hugs, slurps and nibbles for you all (^. .^)

After what I can only describe as a mad and exhaustimerating week I am about to vanish from the world for the weekend (^. .^)
LARP for me is one of my main hobbies and get aways from the local area and I have been starved of it for nearly a year due to work commitments and timing.
Luckily a couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get away for a day of LARPing goodness and now I have the whole weekend for a bigger event. Better still my partner is willing to give the hobby a try so I will be fighting alongside my love trying to survive the undead onslaught as we search for lost secrets from one of their forts.

A quick shout out and biiiiig thank you to the amazingly wonderful Valareos who has spent a great deal of time and effort fixing our server that has been a little unpredictable of late. UmiBot had managed to get very chonky when we weren't looking and somehow acquired an additional 13 gigs which as you can properly guess caused a few issues for the online hosting. Val has gone around cleaning up the unnecessary files and rubbish, so claws crossed that should solve our issues with the service going up and down like a yoyo. Thank you all so much for your patience during this downtime.

Sadly yet again I have been alerted to another fraudulent Umiriko copycats using my name, artwork and posing as me in a number of places, with the most recent one going around on discord sending invites to a server I have no connection to. The server isn't responsible in anyway and the owner has been very helpful and understanding. So in light of this most recent case I thought I would write a quick spotters guide to help anyone encountering a wild Umi determine if they should be suspicious or if you have indeed located the elusive water dragon hirself.

I do not have an offical social media account such as twitter, facebook, and tumbler. I also do not have a youtube channel and do not wish for any of my content to be there. I am on discord but mostly only in my own Patreon channel that supports UmiBot, I also have a telegram account but again I am in very few groups and not overly active.

2) Activity -
As much as I do enjoy role-playing I am sadly a very busy dragon and have all but pulled out of it bar a few exceptions for special people or groups. If you find an Umiriko advertising they are RPing, asking people to contact them for RPs or a similar, sadly it is unlikely to be me.
Posting artwork I have drawn or commissioned on any site other than the above list is very unlike me.

Possibly one of the least captivating or world changing entries I have put here, but hey might interest one or two of you cuties.

So I have always been a rather indecisive dragon, and sometimes I wanna upload some goodies that are waiting to go into the galleries but I end up just looking at the art ready to go up and can't decide what to put up first and end up not putting anything online at all XD Silly I know right?

So I have decided to avoid this I am just doing them in order, I have lost their dates long ago as some have been in the folder for a while, so I am just starting top down alphabetically and working my way through them that way. Warning dragon ramblings ahead XD If you want the cliff notes, I had an amazing time, want to do more conventions and thinking about somehow getting a suit someday (^. .^)



So the greedy draggie is back fro Eurofurence 24, my second ever convention and second time at EF for that matter. I thought I would take a few minutes to summarise my feelings on the event as a whole in case anyone was curious or interested.

4 years ago... yes I am pretty sure it was 4 years ago I went to EF for the first time and experienced my first furry convention, and well convention overall. Thought I enjoyed the event I went away a little conflicted if furry cons were for me, but I am glad to report after a silly long break and another great convention I have made my mind up that yush they are for me and I will be putting lots more effort, time and resources into attending more of them! The goal is to go to at least 1 a year if not 2, aiming to focus on Eurofurence and Confuzzled, maybe trying an American one sometime with enough planning and shiny coins.

My first time I felt lost a good amount of the time and spent a good deal wondering about, there was so much that was new to me it was overwhelming, and though I am sad to admit it I think a lot of it was to do with Furshame as well. I was just not used to being so open in a public setting as most of my furry stuff had been done online or in small private settings such a small meets. It seems though as time has gone on I have got over the silly latter and with the help of some great friends I resolved all the other points too.

This year I was lucky enough to be going as part of a good sized group. Most importantly for me my partner Takan Twins took the plunge and attended their first convention with me, having them there meant I wasn't missing them for the whole event and getting to experience it with them was a wonderful bonus! They really seemed to engage with it after a while and are super keen like me to get more into it and atten more conventions as a couple. A certain super friend known as Foshu really helped the event go smoothly for us both, doing so much organising to bring the group together, arranging a hostel (as the hotel was full) helping us plan our days, helping us pick what to do and finding us tasty places to snack and always being there to keep us company (^. .^) We were also rooming with 2 adorable mice boys Mouse26 and Catlikemeh who were so much fun to hang out with and tease. With everyone combined it really felt like a great group, and even when we went off to do other things we always came back and could share giggles and the experience! Also though not sharing accommodation with (mostly due to my poor planning) we also spent a good deal of time and tried to arrange shared plans with my pet Qian and two amazing sweeties I have met through the UmiBot projects patreon group, Schatti and Nexez, just adding to the group and bringing more fun for all. Having a good sized group was just ideal for me and something I want to try and build on for next time.

Met so many people I can't put a number to it, especially with the delicious Vore-Meet added on as well. ABut I was lucky enough to spend a good amount of time with some people I have met at the previous EF I went to, online or in person. Seeing them again or for the first time was a wonderful experience and I hope I can see them all again soon! Though there is so much to see and do at EF I think for me the best memories comes from meeting, hanging and being social. I can't name you all as it would take so long but thank you everyone who took the time to stop and chat with this silly dragon, you really added to my experience and I cant wait to see you all again soon!

So the convention itself? Fluuuuuuuufftastic! There were sooooooo many suiters I couldn't believe it, so many styles, species, colours and quality. Has inspired me to think more seriously if I would want to suit myself (^. .^) which is leaning ever closer to a yes... though how is a more interesting point, scales and all heh. The panels and talks were ever better than I remember with a big highlight for me being the better writing one by the cockroach himself and the Vore-meet which was massive this year (^. .^) like 75-100 tasty furs! Loved the big shows, went to both concerts this time and had a great giggle watching the cockroach and celestial kitty on stage. The art show was mind blowing with the range of talent on display and the dealers den was overwhelming, just so much stuff! I could go on and on but lets just say I had a faaaaaaaaaantastic time!

All in all I want to thank everyone who made this such a memorable experience for me! All the staff, crew, volunteers, acts, dealers and what not (^. .^) All the attendees, suiters, furrs guests. And most of all the peps who said hi, shared a hug and let me hang out with them. Thaaaaaaaaaaaank you all so so much!



Can't wait to arrange my next convention and I will try to be on the ball next time to get things done as early as possible to get the best prices, accommodation and remove any last minute rush and worries. Also expect fursuit related journals soon as I try and work out how I would do an Umisuit or if I take the possibly easier option and make a fluffy character for suiting... would prefer an Umi but ya more thoughts on that another time (^. .^)

Firstly a super quick thaaaaaaaaaaaaank you to everyone for the sweet and kind birthday messages (^. .^) I had a great couple of days away and my last plans are tonight so should be back to normal Umi stoof come tomorrow if all goes to plan.

Thanks to the hard work and persistence of my incredible server & website super helper Valareos UmiBot is now back online and should be as hungry as ever (^. .^) The actual host company managed to break something during a short routine security update but everything should be smooth and working as it was now with any luck.

The host website had a security update which reset a lot of things, and due to some technical stuff I really don't understand this means shi isn't online right now. This is being looked into and will hopefully be resolved soon so don't worry or panic (^. .^) In the meantime I will continue to work on the long overdue content update people have be patiently waiting for and am very excited for when I can finally announce its completion and the content hidden within (^. .^)

So first of all while I have most of your attention

So the greedy dragon known as Umi is tempted to get a few naughty telegram stickers commissioned and wondered if you sweeties had any suggestions. I am looking for someone who fits the following criteria:
A) Takes telegram sticker commissions
B) Draw dragons
C) Is happy to do NSFW stickers
D) Is happy to draw vore stuff
If you know anyone who fits these things I would appreciate you dropping a link to them in the comments below. Will be doing some searching myself of course, but sometimes hard to beat recommendations from someone who has already hired an artist.

Secondly just a quick heads up that I will be vanishing of the last week of this month as I am off on some more LARPing adventures (^. .^) Which I am sooooooooo excited for! Been too long since I had a good long event, and we have an incredible site and very talented small group making up the players and crew for this event. So apologies if I don't respond or reply to stuff for a while, I wont have any signal for a good while.

Long ago near the dawn of time! ... or more accurately 2014 (^. .^) This silly squishy fat dragon travelled to EuroFurence for my first ever convention and furry event other than little house parties. Since then due to work, LARP and other stuff I have not yet been able to return and fulfil my promise to the friends I met there to see them again. Well hopefully this changes soon (^. .^)

Though it is not yet confirmed I have put in my registration and am now awaiting confirmation by the busy team over at EF, claws crossed I will hear back from them soon and have my spot at EF 2018 confirmed! Will be so amazing to see some of you there again, meet old friends, meet new ones, hug, joke and just hang out and enjoy the delights that a convention offers (^. .^)
