Stickers!
Posted 8 years agoSince I pretty much live on Telegram, I decided it was time to get some stickers of my own. The first ones are in, and I love them (see them at https://lucky-gone-crazy.tumblr.com.....ommissions-for ). So I'm going to go ahead and continue filling out the set, and I'd like to commission a variety of artists for them.
So the question is: who does Telegram stickers?

[Signal Boost] Friend needs help! $10 commissions
Posted 9 years agoDue to storm damage,
bruka lost quite a bit of electronic equipment, including his PC, PS4, and even his coffee maker. This came at a particularly bad time, as he also has to manage some important car repairs.
So! Emergency commission time: he's offering excellent sketch commissions for just $10. His work is phenomenal, and you should go to his journal right now and sign up for at least one:

90 watchers?
Posted 9 years agoGeez, how'd that happen?

Hey there everyone. Thanks for your interest! I don't draw much of my own stuff, but I do commission a few works from folks now and then. I hope you each find stuff you like here.
Please do comment on anything I post; I enjoy talking about these pictures almost as much as looking at them.
As always, folks in the Seattle area feel free to hit me up for a chat.
Thanks again!

A fursona at last?
Posted 10 years agoIt's been a long time coming, but with the assistance of my very good friend Sergeant, my fur self has emerged: umuhk is a wolverine.
I'm going to spend a little time getting my details right, but for now I wanted to let folks know why I'd changed my icon after all these years.

Puget Sound furs?
Posted 10 years agoHey folks, if you or someone you know lives in the Puget Sound area and would like to help a shy guy (me) expand his social circle, hit me up on Telegram @ umuhk (or use the "website link" in my profile). It's been a few years since I've hung out in the furry world, and I miss it. Thanks!
Aprés Rainfurrest
Posted 10 years agoAttended Rainfurrest for the first time this weekend, and I really enjoyed myself. Thanks to all the folks I got a chance to meet for helping make it fun. Next time I'll try to be a little more social.
Rainfurrest
Posted 10 years agoMy husband and I will likely be attending at least one day of Rainfurrest. I don't suspect anyone actually reads these journals, but if you do, and if you'll be there too, let me know. I'd love to meet folks in person.
The Gruffalo
Posted 10 years agoWatched The Gruffalo's Child the other day, and it was adorably charming. Now I've got Gruffalo on the brain.
Public Commitments
Posted 10 years agoI know I need to start drawing again. I also know that I have a bad habit of procrastinating on my creative endeavours. So I want to record here that on this Cross-Quarter, as we move toward Turning Dark, I will set aside some time each day to draw, even if it's just moving the stylus around on the tablet for a while.
I reserve the right not to publish these scribbles, though -- I want to build up to that.

Posting commissions
Posted 10 years agoSince I haven't picked up a pencil in years, I decided to start posting some of the commissions I've purchased from various artists recently.
Most of them are of Grok, a Neanderthal character I've begun to develop. Among other fun sketches, I've commissioned four portraits of him in different seasons, each depicting some aspect or feeling I associate with that season. The first three are done, and now I'm just waiting on Fall.
I also indulged in an unusual treat for me: I commissioned
junglefooter to draw a portrait of me IRL as a character in his jungle world. It's one of my favourite things right now. It's hard to see myself as anything but a hopeless lump sometimes, so it makes me happy to look at this picture and feel a little different.
I'm rather hoping that surrounding myself with good art will possibly inspire me to start drawing again.
