Hi everyone, my last journal sounded more defeated than was my intention. I'm going to continue to do my best! I love drawing too much to stop. And I love seeing what others draw.

But most of all, I love ALL YOU GUYS 💞❣️

and thank you to those of you who sent me little notes to bring back my positivity. :'3 You're wonderful!!

I currently have one commission left in the queue, the coloring is just going sloooooowly... But, once I finish it, I may need to focus on creating shaded sketches only, until my health can improve.

I have been trying to think of other ways I can contribute something nice to the fandom.. And, you know, if anyone happens to have any ideas, feel free to comment! :3

Soooo still dealing with everything mentioned in the previous journal.

I went to a cardiologist, and am scheduled for a heart echo and another (longer) heart monitor near the end of this month. Hopefully will get some answers from those..

Also bloodwork reveals I am very low in vitamin D, despite taking my prescription-strength vita D as directed.. (and also getting sun outdoors)

Both my bradycardia and low vitamin D are not a good combo. I'm really, REALLY deeply sorry, everyone. I see others leaving my online places (here, Twitter, Patreon, etc) and ...its devastating. I wish things were different. I wish I could have the energy I really need. Feeling like a failure these days.

So I've been collapsing/fainting. Thankfully I was not alone when it happened, and also managed to avoid hitting my head on the way down.
After having an EKG, the doctor discovered I have bradycardia - a slower than normal heartbeat. This is causing me a lot of exhaustion, dizzyness and no matter how much I sleep, it doesn't go away.

I'm also having seizure-like symptoms. I would not have known this if my partner had not been there to witness it. I'd go into more details, but it bothers me a bit too much honestly... I'm just glad I wasn't alone..
The seizure-like episodes are called "vasovagal syncope", as I understand it from the doctor. Feel free to look that up if you want to know more details.

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know what is happening. About to leave for another doctor appointment now, to discuss the results of my bloodwork & hopefully treatment options..

Hey guys. My cat, Baby, is very likely going to need radiation treatment for her overactive thyroid. She was tested once already and it was high, and she will be tested again in September before her surgery. I was told it is unlikely that anything has changed.

I was also told the lower end of the cost will be $1,500.00. YIKES. So, I've started a goal on my Ko-Fi, hoping that some folks out there might be able to help her.

Short version: job too tough for me, may need to quit and refocus on only art comms again.

Long version: Between my job and helping AC's mem with her house (it still needs a lot of work), I have been EXHAUSTED. I only have enough energy to work on commissions during the weekend, which honestly sucks. I miss drawing more often.. Its just not enough time.

I'm trying to get my hours reduced at work because its just too much for me. I'm working at a daycare, and I'm supposed to keep up with a bunch of paperwork while also caring for a room full of 2yos! (17 of them, in fact)
And I'm also expected to put together lesson plans too, at the same time (we aren't supposed to do these at home..). But any time I try to focus on the other stuff I am supposed to be doing, a child gets hurt (trip and fall, or just not being kind to their classmates, etc. THEY'RE TODDLERS, for crying out loud! Literally crying out loud)

2 year olds are not the safest bunch, let me tell you!
Anyway, if nothing happens regarding my hours being reduced, I may just need to quit. I actually turned in my notice already, but then my supervisor convinced me to try going to part time, instead..

With how things are, idk if I will actually get the reduced hours. I've tried talking to her about the other things we are supposed to be doing while also making sure the children are safe, but its just the way things are done there..

I want to be allowed to pay attention to the kids in my care rather than also focusing on daily paperwork & lesson plans. Its so unsafe. :( Some of the toddlers have already gotten hurt bc I was trying to do paperwork..

As I mentioned in the previous entry, my wonderful grandmother, who I've been caring for these past few years, has passed away. Now my partner and I are trying to get out of a bad situation. Read on for more details..

When I was getting ready to leave the funeral home after making her final arrangements, my step-aunt parked next to my vehicle, jumped out, and opened my vehicle's door. She proceeded to scream at me, and kept yelling "fuck you" and "you're going to meet your reckoning real fucking soon". I thought she was going to attack me (she told me years ago that she keeps a gun in her vehicle), but she stormed off instead. I was already crying before this happened. I've been an emotional wreck and this made it far worse.

She claimed she did this because she hadn't been told about my grandmother's passing, despite the fact that the last time she was allowed in our house(trailer), she screamed at my grandmother, told her to get out, and accused her of using drugs. My step-aunt has never been allowed inside since. (She claimed she was screaming at "my stupid ass", but I wasn't even there at the time, so...)

The day after the funeral home incident, my step-aunt followed me and my partner home in the dark while I was driving home, and parked right behind us in the driveway in front of our trailer. She got out, banged on the doors/windows, tried to open the vehicle's doors, and was yelling that she wasn't going to sign the papers to allow my grandmother to be buried next to her deceased husband*. My partner called the police. As soon as step-aunt realized this, she left.

The officer arrived and I (very shakily) explained as much as I could, including what happened at the funeral home. He said I should have called at the funeral home, too, and to call again if she ever comes back.

Afterwards, we had to scramble to secure a different plot so that my grandmother could be laid to rest. Thankfully, a nice aunt allowed us to purchase a plot from her that she had access to.

Sorry for the long journal, but I want to let everyone know what is happening. We're still stuck here in the trailer that is on the step-aunt's property, and we NEED to move ASAP.

I tried to keep everything here relevant, but honestly, if it seems like I left anything out, or if anyone has any questions about all of this, note me. I'll do my best to answer and update this journal, too. I know this is confusing, but I'm so tired and weary.

*It turns out my step-aunt owns the plot my grandmother was supposed to be buried in, next to my grandfather. I have no clue how this happened, but my great uncle said that at one point, he thinks my grandfather cashed in his life insurance policy and trusted her with the money to go purchase my grandmother's plot. I have no idea what step-aunt is going to do with the plot next to my grandfather now, but at least my grandmother is hopefully at peace..

I keep having dreams that my grandmother is sad or upset because she is not buried next to papa..

My grandmother passed away today.

Today I have to give my permission for my grandmother to go into hospice..

She's been having difficulty breathing lately..
She can't eat except for liquid meals they give her through a tube connected to her nose.

I HATE this. I just want her to be well and to come back home.

My grandma is my whole world. And now I can't do anything to help her. I feel like I've failed her..
