Megaplex Incoming!!! Will Be Attending!!!
Posted 9 years agoOkay so it's still possibly too early to be announcing this but I'm already so hyped. I will be attending Megaplex again this year and I'm hoping to see some of my lovely fans there! If you will be attending be sure to comment below and let me know because odds are we will be crossing paths.
I'm going to be for the most part at all times at the Artist Alley so if you are looking for me, look there. I may or may not be having products this year; and by products I mean stickers. I'm thinking if I see any interest on here I'll order a bunch of them and have them at my table in a little bin so people can buy them. Would you guys be interested in stickers (those of you going to the convention I mean), I'm thinking of having some of Vii's head/my logo and some of Victoria in different outfits; amongst others depending on how much I feel people want them.
I'm worried about getting a bunch and then finding out that no one likes them or wants them so I have to eat them or something and cry over how much it cost to print them all.

Posted 9 years agoAlright guys you know I'm not one to rant or speak negative of really anything but this has been bugging me so I figure I might as well speak my mind since it's the internet and odds are I'll never be able to say anything that hasn't already been said in a rude or vulgar manner. Oh boy, I'm bringing out the vocabulary words, this ought to be good.
Okay so keep in mind that this is all without having experienced the game; considering it still hasn't been released it'd be odd if I could have done that already.
So I like many Project DIVA fans have found out about the news that the new PDX will not be featuring Story Driven PVs but will instead feature "Live PVs". I will now begin the ranting portion of this journal.
I highly dislike anyone calling them PVs since at this point they no longer qualify as such to me since now what they are is just a fancy version of the Concert Mode. Let's face it, no one really enjoyed using that mode and once you got your achievements from it you haven't used it since except maybe on the off chance you needed background noise/entertainment for an otaku party; which sounds like a good idea, I should do that.
All this new mode is doing is taking the customization aspects of the regular PVs and fusing it with the Concert Mode. Makes you wonder if they'll even be including a Concert Mode anymore or if instead it'll be replaced with a mini game of some sort.
I'm really hoping that they'll take notice to the large amounts of comments voicing their opinions against this change and will make appropriate changes for the next game or at the least provide the option of DLC with story driven PVs.
I also came across an interesting comment about how the focus on concerts in the game could be a part of their process of making this a VR game but if you ask me if they wanted to do that they should've left the game as it was and just added the VR ability to the concert mode and seen if people even liked it in the first place instead of basing a whole game on testing it out.
One thing that bugs me also though is that since the PVs are now just concerts they have now become simpler to make since now they only have to make the assets in 3D and make one motion for the dance since based on what we've seen there's no chance for chance time to exist since now instead it gives you a new outfit drop. It just makes the game feel lazier because of that and like they are just throwing it together for the sake of money. I of course understand that the whole point of making the game is to make money and I am all for it but they should be putting more work into it like in the past.
Needless to say regardless I will be purchasing a copy of the game when it is inevitably released for the western community with an English translation as even though I do dislike the "Live PVs" I still do love the series so I owe it that much to give it a shot.
TLDR: They really shouldn't be testing out a possible VR mode by converting all the Story PVs into Concert PVs since they lack the depth of a good story driven PV. I'm still planning on buying it since I love the series and owe it the benefit of the doubt that it'll still be enjoyable.

So I'm thinking I'll give it a shot and if I like it I'll use it regularly, if not I'll delete my account and we'll never talk about it again. Posted 10 years agoOkay so ever since my hard reset I've been slowly putting stuff back into my iTunes with proper titles and artists and stuff. I am so close to finishing up all the music files but there's a problem. I DON'T KNOW WHO SANG THREE SONGS! So I've been going slowly insane scouring through YouTube in hopes of figuring out who sang these songs and I'm hoping that maybe one of my fangs know who sang these covers and can help point me in the right direction.

Halloween Commissions

Why'd This Take Me So Long? New Journal Style/Setting
Posted 10 years agoOkay so it only took me who knows how long to actually notice the Journal Settings option that FA has and omg I'm loving it. So now like on dA you guys will be able to see with all my journals there will be links at the bottom to my other accounts so that way when I mention like how stuff might be on Tumblr or Twitter or whatever you can just click the link and get right to it. The top will be linking to my Patreon so you guys can (if you wish) become one of my patrons and see lots of bonus content and secrets (as well as other stuff but I won't bore you with those details since you can read about them on my Patreon page).

Posted 10 years agoOkay so I'm back from the (week?) long hiatus. Possibly just shy of an actual week but whatever it's much more impressive than when I would normally try to do a hiatus and just end up lasting one day before coming back.
Anyway I've had time to reflect on a lot and unfortunately didn't end up drawing too much but if you were paying attention to my Twitter you might have seen some... naughty stuffs. My bamboo tablet has officially been retired so due to that and the fact I can't use my laptop for drawing for too long since it makes me sick; that means the amount of 2D art I do on here has dropped from rarely to in a blue moon status until I can manage to finally get a new drawing tablet (which I'm hoping will be sooner than later).
During my hiatus I've had time to think about my art and where it's going and I've come to a realization that I shouldn't be making so much fanart so that unfortunately means that I'll most likely be not making as much VOCALOIDs or UTAUs or Anime characters; I doubt I'll entirely stop making them though since I have a few I still want to do. I need to start focusing up again on making my own characters and stuff so hopefully you'll be seeing more 100% scratch stuff and hopefully the revival of my babies.
Um I think that's about all I needed to say in regards of my hiatus time so now onto submitting all of the stuff that got submitted during my hiatus automatically on deviantART so expect some content!

Posted 10 years agoI recently have been feeling a little overwhelmed so I wanted to take a little time off of trying to make art and trying to keep my fans happy. I wanted to try to relax and focus on drawing since I haven't really been able to do either since my tablet hasn't been working.
I plan currently on being off for a week but normally I end up giving up and coming back after not even a day so I'm hoping this time to actually last long enough that I've got all my energy back.
If you are one of my fans that actually care about what I'm up to then you'll be happy to know I'll be keeping my Twitter updated throughout this hiatus and will most likely take pictures of anything interesting I end up drawing.

Back From The Convention (Late)
Posted 10 years agoOkay so I've been back since Monday but the reason why I still haven't put up my "I'm Back" journal is because I managed to pick up a souvenir from my trip. Aka I'm sick as a dog. My throat and head are killing me and have been since I got back. See my immune system doesn't usually agree with me so whenever I'm out for extended periods of time (over night) I usually end up getting sick to some degree. I was feeling a little better today though so I managed to get on in order to make this journal. I'm hoping to get back to (art) work tomorrow.
Anyway onto the main event; I'm back! Okay so the con was awesome and I can't wait to go next year! I didn't go to too many events since I spent most of my time in the artist alley but even so I had a lot of fun. The artist alley was a lot of fun I got to meet some new people and artists that I can't wait to see again at the next con. I did manage to make it to the pool party where I ended up getting balls to the face near constantly. No not those kind unfortunately, the inflated kind. Anyway onto the main event; I'm back! Okay so the con was awesome and I can't wait to go next year! I didn't go to too many events since I spent most of my time in the artist alley but even so I had a lot of fun. The artist alley was a lot of fun I got to meet some new people and artists that I can't wait to see again at the next con. I did manage to make it to the pool party where I ended up getting balls to the face near constantly. No not those kind unfortunately, the inflated kind. To Megaplex!
Posted 10 years agoThe time has come where I bid you all farewell. I am swearing off a lot of my everyday life as I venture forth to Megaplex. This is going to be my first furry convention and I'm so excited. As part of this little vacation I really want to get out of touch of my usual every day life in order to try to gain new experiences and to have fun/relax. As part of that I won't be getting on the computer again until Monday when I get back home. To this extent I'm not even going to be bringing my laptop.
While I will be swearing off computers in general I will however be making sure to update my Twitter so I can keep you all in the loop of what's going on. Who knows maybe I'll even meet one of you guys.

Question To Megaplex Attendees

I'm seriously considering going because I've always wanted to go to a furry convention. I've only ever been once to an anime convention and had so much fun just walking around and getting drawings done that I can't wait to do it again at a furry convention.

The basic idea I have is that I can post WIPs on it and maybe have a thing where everyone can vote and suggest on a character I could make next with the winning vote ending up a new model. Maybe even a raffle where I'll make someone for free or something like that.
