Posted 10 years agoHey everyone! I'm doing much better given the events that have transpired. I've been busy handling a lot of stuff so I'm sorry for not updating sooner.
I've been doing a lot of odd jobs and even got a small 2-day a week job working at a local comic shop within a 10 minute walk of where I've bunked down. That's definitely a big help, albeit small-time. Other than that not much to update on! ^w^;;
I just wanted to say thank you to all those who helped out and donated! And a big thank you to those who have Signal Boosted for me as well.
I've built a nice amount of funds over the past 6 days and it's going strong! I'm still a little short of 1/3rd of my goal but that's a great start if I do say so myself!
I still have a ways to go and still figuring out a lot of things but I just wanted to show my gratitude and deepest appreciation for all of those here helping me out in anyway they can.
I can still use all the help I can get!

Sorry I never replied to anyone on my previous journal. I had a lot I needed to take care of and even more I had to figure out.
Anyway, it's official. My vehicle has gone to the great scrapyard in the sky! The engine is shot with a broken crankshaft and damaged pistons. There is no saving her and the money to put into fixing the problem isn't worth the car's value.
As a driving courier my only means of conveyance is gone. That means no money.
I not only lost my only means of transportation; I essentially lost my shelter. I'm officially living ON the streets. I have a temporary place to stay but without a vehicle I can't do anything to repay this family's hospitality and the last thing I want is to overstay my welcome.
As of now, I don't know what to do. Anxiety and Panic attacks have made things a lot worse and to add to that I have contracted food poisoning.
One troubling thing after the other.
One of my worst fears was realized and now I'm standing on the precipice.

If I had to say what truly influenced my choice it would Neon Genesis Evangelion. There was an episode titled "Hedgehog's Dilemma". In this episode the psychology and relationships of the MC, Shinji Ikari, were analyzed by his superiors.
They described Shinji as suffering from the Hedghog's Dilemma, also known as the Porcupine's Dilemma; this hit home and hit me hard when I was younger. Because of this I was able to grow into the social person I am, albeit still wary around others.

The Hedghog/Porcupine dilemma, is a metaphor about the challenges of human intimacy. It describes a situation in which a group of hedgehogs all seek to become close to one another in order to share heat during cold weather. They must remain apart, however, as they cannot avoid hurting one another with their sharp spines. Though they all share the intention of a close reciprocal relationship, this may not occur, for reasons they cannot avoid.
Both Arthur Schopenhauer and Sigmund Freud have used this situation to describe what they feel is the state of individual in relation to others in society. The hedgehog's dilemma suggests that despite goodwill, human intimacy cannot occur without substantial mutual harm, and what results is cautious behavior and weak relationships. Posted 10 years agoSure, being homeless is a journey. Sleeping in my car with no care in the world. Definitely days filled with adventure. Well, I finally had a bed to sleep in last night. And a wonderful sleep I had!
Sadly, while I slumbered away my vehicle, and home, was broken into. I had many of my belongs stolen. Many of them not even valuable. Most of all, they took my clothes. ALL MY CLOTHES. All my belongings I actually needed. They didn't take the stereo, my speakers, AND HELL THEY LEFT MY CANNABIS!!! Who the hell was I ROBBED BY?!
I just...I just don't know anymore. I can't handle this. I can't do it. I'm sick of this. This struggle. Day by day surviving by scraping away at the bare minimum of life. I have nothing...I own nothing....I pretty much am...nothing. Well that's how I feel. Everything is taken from me. EVERYTHING. I have nothing to show and nothing to summarize my ill fated life.
I'm not the kind to ask for help....but....
