I'm slowly closing in on 1000 watchers, and I wanna celebrate that somehow. Question is how?
I think I'd like to commission a nice artist for a split commission with one of my characters, and the other slot is given to one of you through a raffle? Paid for in full by me.
Should I go with this? If so, which of my characters? Or should I leave that up to the winner? Or should I do something completely different?

Posted 3 years agoHaving experienced warfare both with and without image enhancers, they are an absolute must-have on a modern battlefield. So this is pretty close to my heart. Nightvision is great, but camouflaged units will still be extremely hard to spot. With thermals however you will spot almost anyone hiding at night, no matter their camouflage, unless they wear specially designed uniforms. This would be an enormous advantage for the Ukranian war effort. Every little bit helps, and it's a lot more important than you may think.

I wanted to host a mini-raffle of sorts :3 As I'm right now working on the canon for my Cyber Gal I figured it could be fun to add a few "easter eggs" in it considering the holiday! Therefore I wanted to offer up a small cameo in my background / canon! The position can but doesn't have to be lewd. I'll pick 3 winners for this which will be written into the story! The story itself will be a dark, dystopian cyberpunk kind of deal. To add on top, I will make a traditional artpiece featuring your sona with an easter egg theme! (Warning, my art skills suck balls, this is about my level. It's just because its cute.)

How my April Fools joke turned on me xD
Posted 3 years agoEvery year I play an April Fools' joke on Herpy - Reptile Lovers' Community and it's always been great fun. We've done everything from selling the site to Bad Dragon to being sponsored by RAID Shadow Legends to changing into a futa fan community for gamers. This year my joke would spin full circle and come back to bite me in the ass in a rather funny way. I had decided to change the community from a reptile and dragon focus to a sergal focus. In order to do that, I of course had to pioneer the change with getting a sergal of my own.
But I was not gonna spend cash on an April Fools' joke. So instead I went around looking for a female sergal with the same colour theme as my main character Val, and lo and behold I found this 3 year old image by
vulpec and it was just perfect for my purposes. Of course, a lot of my friends on Discord instantly saw the iconic silhouette of a sergal on my profile pic and came inquiring, since I have never uttered a single word of interest towards getting a sergal character for myself. So I just played along with the joke.
"Oh this is my new form, I have a sergal now, hahah!"
... no one questioned it.
No one.
Not a single person.
Instead I got A LOT of praise for it.
Everyone loved the design.
In fact, I got an overwhelmingly positive response.

Russian soldiers got radiation poisoning
Posted 3 years agoTo be honest, this just makes me sad. Sad, and sick to the stomach. The entirety of the west knows exactly what happened in Chernobyl. Many Russians do not. As far as we know, the troops got ordered to hold critical infrastructure, and did not know that the area is contaminated.
So, they dug trenches. In the Red Forest.
And now busloads of them have acute radiation sickness... this is 1986 repeated all over again... steel and concrete caskets await x_x

Posted 3 years agoI live in Sweden. Safe and neutral little Scandinavian nation that no one really cares about. If you have lived here, or anywhere near Russia I suppose, you're just so used to the constant angry rhetoric and saber rattling from Russia. Cry wolf kinda deal. There would always be Russian planes entering our airspace. Russian submarines in our coastal waters. Their "naval landing exercises" such as Zapad, where they would equip an entire invasion force with live ammo and sail towards us, just to turn off last moment and head somewhere else. Fighter jets would scramble over the farm where I grew up all the time to "meet the incident" as it was called. This is just how life was and no one never really cared much.
So when Russia had another "military exercise" on the border of Ukraine, we all just thought "ah, more angry rhetoric" and never bothered more.
To be frank here, at the start, Putin did have a point. Ukraine in NATO means US forces in Ukraine, Putins back yard. I understand that that thought is making him unnerved. I think A LOT of Americans would be freaked out if Russia suddenly stationed troops, air force and possibly nuclear weapons in Mexico, Cuba and Canada. So we just figured that he's flexing his muscles and demanding some deals to be made, which is fair. At worst, it would be a "bloodless" hybrid war. A rebel group start a secession from Ukraine and make their own state, demand independence and then joins Russia. After all, this is what Russia and the US has been doing for like, 60 years at this point. The "new" war. The "cold war." The hybrid war where perhaps a few dozen people had to risk their lives but over all there would be very little bloodshed by comparison.
So when deals with NATO were unsuccessful, Putin suddenly rolled into "sovereign secessionist states" so we just were like "ah, here we go again, hybrid war. I wonder how Ukraine will react to this." But then suddenly, out of fucking nowhere, a full scale military invasion. I couldn't believe it at first. But there it was. Textbook invasion. Blast the military bases, key infrastructure and airports with cruise missiles, then drop paratroopers to cease control of the airports so that reinforcements can be flown in. It's a scenario we have even trained for in the army.
But then things just escalated with rocket speed. Suddenly, Russian missile and artillery strikes stopped targeting military targets and infrastructure, but started to shell villages, residential areas, even hospitals and kindergartens. And we could only stare in horror as it happened.
But the war doesn't go in Putins favour. So suddenly, he activates his strategic command, and I know that means ICBMs, possibly nukes and... thermobarics. If you don't know what the latter is, let me quote:
A Human Rights Watch report of 1 February 2000[15] quotes a study made by the US Defense Intelligence Agency:
The [blast] kill mechanism against living targets is unique—and unpleasant. ... What kills is the pressure wave, and more importantly, the subsequent rarefaction [vacuum], which ruptures the lungs. ... If the fuel deflagrates but does not detonate, victims will be severely burned and will probably also inhale the burning fuel. Since the most common FAE fuels, ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, are highly toxic, undetonated FAE should prove as lethal to personnel caught within the cloud as with most chemical agents.
According to a US Central Intelligence Agency study,[15] "the effect of an FAE explosion within confined spaces is immense. Those near the ignition point are obliterated. Those at the fringe are likely to suffer many internal, thus invisible injuries, including burst eardrums and crushed inner ear organs, severe concussions, ruptured lungs and internal organs, and possibly blindness." Not long after USA responds, STRATCOM is ready and prepared.
And for the first fucking time, 3 fucking days, THREE DAYS into the war, the entire world enters DEFCON 2. Like, I can't even grasp it. I struggle to fathom what the fuck is going on. At the same time, Putin wars us, Finland and Sweden, that if we so much as look in NATOs direction, he will do to us what he's doing to Ukraine. For the last months there has already been drones over our power plants, parliament, etc. Kaliningrad with the entire eastern sea fleet is just 40 min air travel from here. The navy can reach our shores in a matter of hours. We also know that Putin has a lot more troops and a lot of modern equipment that we have not seen deployed in Ukraine yet.
So, where are they?
The threat is very real.
Our armed forces respond. I get called in for exercises, sentry planes are in the sky, submarines in the sea, fighter jets scramble over our heads on a daily basis. Police barricades around key buildings. Soldiers on the streets, tanks guarding the harbours. Bomb shelters are being prepared. The tension is so thick that you can cut it with a knife.
At the same time, Russia has launched strategic bombers. I watch through direct sources as the first thermobaric bomb detonates of Ukraine. I have seen the devastating effects of them myself. I fear them more than nukes. Much like napalm, they are forbidden by the Geneva convention for a fucking reason. And now they are being used. I feel sick. Memory images flash before my eyes, tears run down my face. How. The. Fuck. Could. They.
My friends in Ukraine are hiding in shelters as their houses are getting turned into rubble. I'm worried sick for them. At the same time, my Russian friends are scared as their are being shut off from the western world. Artists now struggle to get paid, people lose their livelihoods.
On top of this, I struggle hard to sift through enormous amounts of misinformation while trying to keep things calm in the servers I mod. Some people are very afraid, emotional and panic, spreading rumors and doing more harm than good. Others are so fucking blinded by "right and wrong" that they cheer every time they see news of killed Russians. They compare kills by Ukraine and Russia as if they were watching a fucking hockey game. It's so fucking distasteful. I can't stand it.
They are people. They are just as scared as you are. They don't want to be where they are. But if they desert the army, lifetime in prison awaits them at best, or they might even be considered traitors. They feel like they are being forced to fight their own brethren with a gun in their back. In war you have to do what you have to do, but what is this, Colosseum in Rome at 100 AD? So many people are punishing the Russian people for the actions of their dictator, who lets anyone who opposes him disappear in jail, or die from poisoning on a flight. Thousands of Russians who protest the war has already been imprisoned.
For every day that goes on, the situation gets even worse. And while all of this is going on, Putin is also holding his "trial" for Navalny, which is now going completely under the radar in almost all news media.
For the love of the Gods, at least treat each other as humans. There are a lot of things to agree and disagree on, but lets not drop the humanity.
Help your Ukrainian and Russian artists if you can, they need it more than anyone else right now. Any Russian who gets caught supporting, financing or trying to help an Ukranian, even if its a family member, is considered a traitor of the state as of yesterday. And pray that this doesn't spread further, into the Baltics and Scandinavia, who are under a very real threat right now. We're stocking up on food, water, clothes and medical supplies.
I shall end with a quote by a good Ukranian friend of mine.
"Don't tell the Gods you're in trouble. Tell the trouble that you are with the Gods."

Love a partner, a friend but most importantly, yourself! Treat yourself to something today, you're worth it! That's what I think and I'm sticking by it!
Myself will spend the entire day and evening at work, but I made myself some tasty thai red curry with chow mein (one of my fav dishes) to take along, as well as a good drink and a chocolate bar. So when it's break time I'll just stretch out on one lf the couches in the lounge and enjoy myself!
Pizza and gaming also sounds awesome!

Posted 4 years ago Hi all!~ I just wanted to apologize for my inactivity here as of late. I used to make 1-2 uploads a week and now it's been almost dead silent from me in a month. Just cleared out my submission feed. I had thousands of images, dating all the way back to December 14th. Oops.
In short, I've just been really really busy with life. Not just holidays and family and such, but in mid December I landed myself a new job. And not just any job, hah!
I'm now a research associate at a hazardous materials laboratory. Sadly not Black Mesa, but also not too far off. I'm really really excited to work here, and yes, I do feel a lot like Gordon Freeman, heh~
But yes, in short, the new job with all its demands and routines has completely sapped me. I've been so tired that when I come home late in the evening its like, 30 min of gaming to wind down and then almost instantly to bed. I haven't had the time to claer out my submissions here or barely even the meme channels in Discord. However, things are slowly starting to fall into an even pace now. I've gotten myself a handful of licenses at work already. My colleagues are also lovely science nerds and my superiors - so far - are all really nice.
But, as things now get more balanced, I hope I can "come back" here and share more art and stories. I have a whole lot of stuff in queue at this point xD
Anyways, just wanted to let ya know I'm still here! Will make new uploads soon!

Posted 4 years agoSo, another year passes and a lot has happened and is still going on.
I've seen many of my friends speak of 2021 as yet another shit year of Hell, but for me it hasn't, yet in a way it has. It's hard to explain, so I'll try.
2020 was a cursed year, like an airstrike. We could only huddle together in the safe room as the bombshells dropped from above, shaking the world around us. We were powerless to do anything but hold those dear to us, cry and wait for it all to pass over. As 2020 turned into 2021, the bombs finally stopped falling. But as we emerged from the shelter, opening the hatch and peeking out, we were faced with all the consequences of 2020. The sheer and utter destruction that that year brought with it. Homes in ruins, friends and family members dead, financial ruin, homelessness, disease and sickness...
... and as such, 2021 - while not being bad on its own - became the year of putting out all the fires that 2020 started and trying to rebuild, while the dark smoke of 2020 still lingered in the air, overshadowing everything. We had to face all that happened and try to save what could still be saved.
Benefits of 2021:
- We got the vaccines rolled out on a large scale.
- The panic shopping and stockpiling stopped.
- I managed to start therapy for my CFS, which I got in 2020.
- We (me and my mates) got more stability and independency.
- I finally managed to get a new job after losing my old one in 2020; with better policies and better pay. In fact, one of the best jobs I've had so far.
So basically, it feels like 2021 was spent dealing with all the shit that happened in 2020; and was basically spent trying to survive after all the damage that cursed year did to us, to the world. So... at least for me, not a bad year in of itself, it just got overshadowed by a lingering dark.
Personally, I really look forward to 2022. I have so much hopes in this new job and I hope I get to keep it. Slowly but surely we (me and my mates) are rebuilding everything we lost. Like I said in this upload as we saw the "birth" of Cyber Val: "The world has changed. And as changes happen, we must adapt. The only way is through. The only path is forward. We dapt. We Overcome."
I'm often dark and grim in my mood these days. We live in a Dystopia, I've come to realize that. So when we start to realize that and accept it, we can start to work with it. A problem to be fixed, a solution to be found, a bug in the code to the matrix that needs to be patched. You need to be smart, adapt and play the system that plays you. And that's what we're doing. Step by step, brick by brick. And while we're going at it, better fucking enjoy the ride~ Take some time to actually live.
Travel, fuck, drink, get high. Whatever makes you feel alive that doesn't harm anyone else. Explore your gender identity, try something new. Life is short. Old timey morals tries to tell us that its bad to live life, that its bad to enjoy ourselves, and that we should just be good little cogs in the machine who do as we're told. Fuck that. Enjoy what you can while it lasts, and as they say in the song: "These bad decisions haunt me, but they make good stories!"
When you get old, you don't wanna think about all the things you didn't do. You wanna think of all the things you did do.

I've seen many of my friends speak of 2021 as yet another shit year of Hell, but for me it hasn't, yet in a way it has. It's hard to explain, so I'll try.
2020 was a cursed year, like an airstrike. We could only huddle together in the safe room as the bombshells dropped from above, shaking the world around us. We were powerless to do anything but hold those dear to us, cry and wait for it all to pass over. As 2020 turned into 2021, the bombs finally stopped falling. But as we emerged from the shelter, opening the hatch and peeking out, we were faced with all the consequences of 2020. The sheer and utter destruction that that year brought with it. Homes in ruins, friends and family members dead, financial ruin, homelessness, disease and sickness...
... and as such, 2021 - while not being bad on its own - became the year of putting out all the fires that 2020 started and trying to rebuild, while the dark smoke of 2020 still lingered in the air, overshadowing everything. We had to face all that happened and try to save what could still be saved.
Benefits of 2021:
- We got the vaccines rolled out on a large scale.
- The panic shopping and stockpiling stopped.
- I managed to start therapy for my CFS, which I got in 2020.
- We (me and my mates) got more stability and independency.
- I finally managed to get a new job after losing my old one in 2020; with better policies and better pay. In fact, one of the best jobs I've had so far.

Artists! Google Drive bans NSFW content (important!)
Posted 4 years agoIf you use Google drive, either to share art you have / have made, or heck even if you have your own private nudes on there, it might soon be a violation against Google's ToS.
They are changing the terms to more or less ban NSFW content with a few exceptions. As usual when companies do this, they are very vauge and we don't know where the limits are, neither have we gotten any answers when asked. In general, there are a few different degrees of "punishment" for storing NSFW content on Google Drive. In some cases you might be able to store it but not share it with anyone; and in other cases you can get your files deleted without warning, and in worst case get your account banned.
According to Google, the motive behind the policy change is to shield against the abuse of its services. This broad catchall encompasses cybercriminal activity (like malware hosting, phishing etc.), hate speech, and content that might endanger children, but also sexually explicit material.
“After we are notified of a potential policy violation, we may review the content and take action, including restricting access to the content, removing the content, and limiting or terminating a user’s access to Google products.”
However, separating legitimate files from content in violation of abuse policies will be far from clear cut. In the policy document, Google explains that it may make “exceptions based on artistic, educational, documentary or scientific considerations,” which suggests there will be some element of editorializing involved in the process.
It’s easy to imagine a scenario whereby users’ files are rendered inaccessible without due cause. And it’s also unclear whether intimate photos of oneself, for example, are in breach of the abuse policy, or whether they fall under the “artistic” exception.
Even if we don't know what possible artistic exceptions will mean, if you rely on Google Drive you might want to consider a different service. We are all familiar with how Google handles YouTube and its content policies, takedowns and how its near impossible to win or even recover from any kind of strike unless you're a big name with a following in the hundreds of thousands.
