So yeah, I might sound picky but I miiiight want to leave here. I like this area of Brooklyn, but I can't stay so long in this specific boarding house. I dunno, something tells me this guy doesn't even want me around anymore and will boot me out soon as soon as he finds a replacement with money. I mean... I know it's just me, but the lack of communication, the unofficial restrictions & complaints, and the fact that this guy's wife not pregnant anymore (it's a dude... woohoo?) just gives me so many doubts of staying. Now I can understand this guy complaining about making dinner late, but leaving to your room when I explain things like the constant delays of the MTA trains after carrying 20 pounds of food (lol I still have rheumatoid arthritis) from different boroughs sounds just a tad immature. I don't go hang out anywhere that often anymore unless is the nearest place to sit down, after either going to classes, doctor appointments, or just getting food where I lose half an hour on line for, all to wait so LONG for my two-hour ride back because of the incompetent service of the MTA. And what's worse is that the delays have gotten worse than last year.

Months ago this guy increases the rent without even explaining why and keeps asking why I don't just eat out. Why!? Well as much as I love eating out, I never really had that much of a salary to begin with and going to unorganized superstores because of the (by best description) Walmart prices are my only options. The biggest priority is rent, RENT! You know what that means sir? It means that I'm broke to eat out that much BECAUSE I'M GIVING YOU OVER 600 BUCKS OF ROOM RENT FOR YOUR OBNOXIOUS BRAT FOR HER TO EAT SOMETHING!!!

And now that a new addition to the guy's family is here, this guy will most likely raise the rent for justified reasons... for once!!! But whether he has reasons or not, there's no way that I can comply with this. I have to leave. At the moment I lost my keys, hoping the building owner will give me a copy (who is never home), since this prick just keeps telling me to "search harder" as if he intends to keep me locked out this way... I think.

To everyone that reads this: I'm so very sorry if this sounded.... whiny. I don't have a more composed way of explaining this, but I didn't want to just blurt out "BAawww I dun wike ddis guy I want home waah" as if I can just leave without reason. That and I'm searching for laces while writing this so I'm not in full focus.

With that said, if anyone has any place (or realistically a room) around the city that's recommendable, it'll be great if you can tell me. I'm housebroken, I don't smoke, I know what housework is, I only attack when being physically assaulted (and that's my limit) and my rent limit is 600 a month. So I guess this site called FurryMate I've signed up for doesn't seem to be worth it on my end.

The last time I used it, the site doesn't let me read them until I "upgrade" my account... by paying. Since I didn't have any balance to my Paypal, nor even have that much to deal with cryptic messages, so I wrote on my profile to go to my sites for any way to send emails and instant messages.

But that's doesn't work, since there's a large mess of words being censored on purpose and you wouldn't know that at first until AFTER updating your profile. Even google and email is censored, it's a douchy way of saying "you are forced to have no option other than our OWN message system", particularly on a site where there's not much activity.

So after a few months, I log in my email today to read something titled "Now or Never" and assumed that the site is shutting down, instead I get this:

"All unread messages are deleted after a period of being unopened, so don't wait before it's too late!"

So basically I have to pay some cash to upgrade my account temporarily to see if I have messages that isn't a single word, or lose 27 messages that are posted despite of me writing "I CAN'T READ THEM GUYS" just because I'm too cheap to pay for a furry version of eHarmony.com that didn't have this forced payment crap in the first place! Well... not in such a mandatory manner at least.

Pay or lose messages? Pay or delete the account and find something active or less obnoxious? I know I sound too whiny but I don't even know who's gotten good NOR bad results from this site even after all these years, this is why I named this journal "Is it worth it?" instead of "I'm too cheap to find long-distance relationships without instant conversations". But then again, I walk alot in this city, I can just get a date manually if I had the patience... and time... and money... oh...

Anywho, I had a HUUUUGE bucket full of fun coming here, I'm so glad I got to go. It's been 4 years since my first time at AC, I forgot how lively you kids tend to be, reminds me of one of the reasons I stuck around in the fandom aside some pretty pictures!! I got to meet mother frickin' Jim Cummings, and the guy who voiced Snips, nice fellas. ^^
I got some nice souvenirs aside over 2 gigs worth of pictures, and got to wear my skirt again! I'm still nervous about doing that in public, although everyone mostly payed attention to the floppity doggy ears. XD

I kinda thought the bar was too pricey for me, so I naturally hung around in the gaming room instead, and got my ass handed out to me in Skullgirls by  papithefox. Also got to play Fighting is Magic! You know... that Tribute Edition thingy? I dunno some kids pulled a Mother 3 on the "scrapped" fighting game without Mane6 knowing. But yeah it was fun, the fighting mechanics makes me think they took notes from Mike Z. I'm making AJ my main. (fucking everything about her hits a little too close to home though, not sure if that's a good thing...) I also blew bubbles at people, some were chasing them and everything, so cute! Nearly passed out during a rave, the second one at least. In the first one this one fur went and proposed in the middle of it, awwwr! <3

One thing I did regret is just saying "hi" to some folks I wanted to talk to or hang around with. I dunno, it's like just stay frozen and hand gestures are never enough. It's not a good thing I know, but I still get THIS shy around regulars. Maybe I'll do better on that next year. I did plan on some hangouts but some friends had to cancel the trip to AC altogether. Okay so following up on recent health-related news, I am at least healthy enough to be on this Methotrexate medicine for my rheumatism thingy. With that said, it mostly means I have a few limits of what I ingest (which won't be too hard) and TRY not to stay put like a betamax waiting to rust & scatter into the winds of time (also I gotta stop that because it's creeping me out).

As for Anthrocon, weeeeell...... it's gonna be a stretch on getting enough for it. Practically everything else is somewhat ready since most of the stuff I'm taking with me is what I always buy or bring with me regardless of this shindig. BUT, I'm still in the same financial clusterfuck where I have to be wary of my spendings & then smash my face into the nearest tree when I go broke either way! So while I'll still do my best to collect enough, I can't press my luck on last minute events... well mostly because the fuzzies involved in this trip have a different schedule than I do. XD
I'll let ya know if anything new turns up.


Errm.... one last thing. The next journal/blog thingy is sort of gonna be about ponies.And when I mean "sort of" I mean it's the reason for the subject. Just gonna warm ya, it ain't pretty....

Don't pay much attention to this nor take it too seriously, this is just me blabbering stuff after minutes of remembering awkward shit. One of those "Dear Journal" type thingies I guess...

With that said, bleh. I've gotten to reflect of the days were obvious regretful shit was obvious. It also got me thinking again... about a few things. During my reminisces, I stopped to think how much I've changed and it was.... scary. I dove deeper with each month passing and kept on remembering some awkward stuff.

From everything I've learned and done, it gets harder and harder to guess if I've gotten more cynical or more enthusiastic throughout the ages (though I always forget to write something down that's worth jabbering about until it's too dated so who can tell a difference eh? XD). It's really hard to tell, outside this typing on the fricking keyboard I've been venting so often without much of idol influence but still tend to bounce about at times when I find things exciting.

Maybe it's the events I suppose. Nowadays I find out more and more about the disturbing things some family member have done (ex: forging granny's last will & testament just to keep an extra house!!!) and then look back to this fandom and feel more dumber of not taking the option of sleeping instead of prolonging useless arguments with someone that only care about competition rather than the subject. The rest of every social outlet I've gone to is littered with people that either has a hair-trigger temper or just fakes it just to remind me why haven't I talk that much in the first place.


I also get reminded that outside the treasure cove of douchy hipsters that flood the fandom, there's someone on my bloomin' city that constantly threatens me for the most petty and pretentious things... IN A 3rd GRADE LEVEL!!!! It gets more annoying when my life is "threatened" by that salad tosser's pack of hipster/otaku/gang member-wannabes while I have to deal with some taller douche that wrecks my family's way of living without getting mom arrested because of some bullshit "Bonnie & Clyde" excuse that the NYPD is soooo quick to plop out. (or I could've push him down the stairs.... if his weight wasn't massive....eh)

On the Birthday:
With all my heart, I seriously want to thank you all for the well wishes and the gifts. This was all so amazing that it's borderline scary.

As for the day itself well... I was actually called for class. This place that held it was under renovating... or at least that was the excuse, but it was all done and I'm back to crying in the corner as I review advance Algebra and Christopher fricking Columbus once more!

But after that, I was invited for a fun time with friends, taken to dinner, and nearly gotten a heart attack from a least one close call somewhere on the subway..... again. Oh! And a accidentally pissed off the remaining sane family member of one of my families. Overall it was fun. I'd say what did I get this year buuuuuuuut it's way too embarrassing for now.

On the Sakura Matsuri Festival:

This was actually my first time going, and lo and behold not ONE furry shows up on 2pm as the description said they would. Now look, I'm not trying to be mean about this but I have to say this. If you are planning to organize a meet no matter where you go, MAKE SURE YOU FUCKING HAVE THINGS ORGANIZED OR HAVE AN ACTUAL ORGANIZER for this!!! It is not easy, it is not pretty, it is like babysitting with more physically risky if you space out even once! The lighest of bad scenarios would be having furries lost and scattered all over the place like little kids on a fricking Walmart. Just future tips for the soon-to-be organizers in general.

With THAT said, I can truly seeee why it costs so much to see this festival, and it's worth it really. Oh mother nature of course has to flip-flop a bit yeah, but I came prepared and had some good fun on my own. Great pictures taken but the videos didn't last because of how jumpy I was at the time, trying to take in everything. Though later I got to rump into  ironmania2003 and had fun for the remainder of the event. Overall it was great, beautiful flora, awesome dorky cosplayers, and the place itself it fun. So yeah, guess this explains the crappy wrists constantly getting in the way.... fun. After taking a few test including an MRI, not only that my diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis is actually true but the fuckin' erosion have already started!! The doc herself can't fix those little holes on my bones sadly, but is gonna do her best to make sure it doesn't get any worse.

Unfortunately, the options may suck. Any, and I mean any steroids are out of the question due to even MORE physical complications, and the only medication she has for me can possibly lead to lung and liver problems. So this NEW test is to determine whether my lungs and liver are good enough so this medicine won't be too risky or even fatal for me.......... SWEET MOTHER AMATERASU ON A POGO STICK, WHAT THE FUCK AM I GONNA DO FOR THE REST OF MY YEARS!??

While it does sound like nothing to many, that's mostly because we all (more or less) have different lifestyles and paths. With that said, it is already bad enough that my crummy wrists limits what type of job I can do without fucking up too much, but even things I have to do DAILY is a mess. Plastic shopping bags of all things hurt when I carry simple shit for dinner, having me to put them down so often that it adds an extra hour or two to this simple task, and it doesn't get better with having to go another borough just so I can buy certain foods that's 7 bucks less than the original market price AND carry this back. THIS is my errand WITHOUT a job.

Bleh, I'm mostly depressed about all of this because I am pretty much in debt to so many yet I'll never pay my familiars back from saving my ass so many times if this keeps up. That and the fact that the only advisers in this fandom always give me back-handed comments that has nothing to do with them mastering Photoshop in a matter of months just because they learns to draw since they were 7!! Jeez I need a drink...

Been catching up on a few things, priority errands, classes, avoiding ammonia, watching Discord washing his ass while singing Winter Wrap-up on a daily basis, and getting the hang to this audio recording thingy which is not going too well so far. The quality is crummy. x.x

So far I've heard of a few celebrity deaths going on in JUST the rest of winter, like Shirley Temple and that guy behind Ghostbusters. But something about them are rather different, maybe it's just that most of them have lived full lives...or whatever's close enough in terms of a human's life span. While on subject of these celebrities, STOP REMASTERING GOOD SHIT!! JUST STOP!!

Also, I'm confirmed that half of family really loves baby showers. Every time one is set up, it's huge. Really. Fucking. HUGE! I don't know what else to say, I'll see what I haven't uploaded here yet for an actual update I guess. At the moment I'm busy searching for a good birthday present. Apperantly the twins are having a party on Chuck E. Cheese this weekend. ^.^

Welp while it's not spring juuuust yet, I managed to defrost just in time to write this thing.

So yeah, Saturday was when it hit about 7 years since I've joined this nutball of a community. I gotta say, y'all are too insane, especially the grumps that shy away from the insan- oh I mean "those that have a possible mental deficiency that I haven't studied up" and such..........seriously Cory, I'm going to waste my free money for a paddle. Just for you! -.-;

Anywho, with everything that gone about, nothing get's boring... though it can be for better or for worse. But I have to say this, to each and every furry that whatever crazy stuff that happened to me since this roller-coaster ride that is the furry fandom had been most of my best years, I doubt I'd be happy at all without the ride. I'll just make a TL;DR version of what do I mean:

While it's not a "sob" story, my years of dealing with family issues has gone more complicated and depressing as the years went by. I'm the eldest of siblings, but also the "Ditz" which is enough to look down upon everything I do. I was given hell about it while the rest of the brood had gone to disturbing amounts of corruption, even going so far to forge the eldest's last will & testament after she dies, just to get a car!! To think, I only remained stuck with that due to monetary distortions & making sure the only good member left is at least safe. I mean there ARE good members but most are either dead or can't do anything due to their own misfortunes. It may not sound much to the typical single child that would ditch their folks only because they weren't able to buy an X-Box 360, but this WAS very devastating for me.


Errm, anyway, the things I've gone through here have helped me cope with that, and I'm glad to see great folks about here, the fabulous artwork, and... well other things. As cliche as it is, I can call y'all my alternate family. I'd say something very constructive, but I've been focusing on studying, Pokemon and loony theories.

It's still depressing for me though. While yeah, I know people will make "mary-sue" comments on Twitter or Reddit when journals like these show up, but let me explain:
I do plan on some future goals where one movement means my every bit of survival, so this is a big deal for me especially since I have the tendency to lose alot of shit just for rushing!! And it's something I'm forced to do on EVERYTHING unless I wake up at 4am to start the (mid)day. Plus I do everything on it; calendar, IM's, bookmarking, that memo thing, ya name it.

Yaaaay, the start of February!! Just another one when everyone (even furries) talks about how very annoying Black History Month is without "accidentally" saying the N-word on places other than Skype.......... joy. But, cynical meanness aside, I can feel Spring so very early so it won't be so bad.... I think.

At the moment I'm recovering from some pain. See I had to take out 3 on my teeth, and the whole aftermath was torturous so I didn't do much contacting over the bitter mood and distraction. What worse is that my new dentist took out just 2 out of 3, so there's more. Anywho, the healing is getting better and JUST in time for something special I planned for this specific month. Something on Valentine's Day aside the universal opinions about one's ex or the holiday itself.

Before that, I deeply apologize for all of this "something's coming soon hurr hurr" thing I've done for years now. I really thought I had a chance to get around to story ideas and crap, but the things that happen irl destroyed that (and my good works before Dropbox even existed) and some of my work had to be scraped anyway because certain people already did it but better!

Anywho I gotta go and make dinner while dancing to the Polkamon, later. ^^

Welp, so far the only, and I mean only person so far to handle FurAffinity's recent "issue" professionally is  muzz. Dogdammit kids!! With that said, I personally prefer expanding one's horizons, a extra crowd to know the individual.... even if that individual takes the "shrinking violet" trope to the extreme!

As far as furries can relate to this is that the whole "unity" thing is what's keeping things together in this batshit crazy mess of a fandom. Um..... yes I said it. You, yes YOU, the furry fandom, are the shining example of this day. Or at the very least an example of the aftermath of the Civil Right's Movement. Holy crap, the stuff I've seen from the people I've met. If it's one fun example of diversity here from other races, other parts of the world (given the activities are mostly on the internet) and also (give or take) other species. Okay yes we have the gayest of fights that makes me question "why is there no South Park episode of us yet?" and most of the drama is not actually controversial, but when that's not a main focus, we know how to be awesome no matter the race.

A big example is shown on the conventions, where practically every race is there. Be it black, white, asian, hispanic, polish, polka-dot, or any other flavor of ice cream, we're all together having a fun, goofy-ass time. Okay okay, I know I'm basically asskissing right now, and many non-furries do follow this example of the demise of segregation as well, just felt like not wanting to leave something out. There's been so much progress, and we've done our share on diversity plus a shit ton of illustration of different species related to this. Be it vulpine, lupine, ringtail, cottontail, stripey tail, dragonettes, and some others I'm too lazy to type down here!! Alright so alot of you can be a bunch of crazy Brokeback Mountain parodies, but look at you! Friends, marriages, kids, the same fucking example of interracial love. What's the difference? I HAVE TO DO ALL THE MOTHA FLUFFIN' TALKING FOR YOU!!

Maybe I'm going all spazzy, kinda weird too since I haven't ate yet. I'm just glad I get to keep the friends and family I have so far mostly. Err, I think I skipped a chapter but I dunno what to say. Maybe someone that doesn't have can try to explain better. As for me, I'm gonna start making dinner while sounding like the biggest faggot in the neighborhood while singing "Born This Way".
