Posted 2 years agoI'm still alive. I didn't post anything for six months because I had writer's block and also had to deal with some pretty serious demons in my mind. But here I am. Chapter eleven.
Some backstory
Posted 6 years agoSo, I suppose I want to go into the contents of my page, characters, and such. There's, really, two main incarnations of Vector Sprint.
There's Vector the Yoshi; He's the result of RP I did on BeSeen chatrooms and IRC chat from around 2000 to 2004-5. He was, essentially, Sonic the Yoshi. And I suppose a bit more refined since then. He's basically from a crapsack universe: A traveller from 1000 years into the future (3078), he volunteered to go back in time to stop a plot by his adoptive brother, a human, Richter Sprint, to do.. something. it was never really quantified outside of he wanted to imprison yoshies.
There's also Vector the Selven. Selvens were an outgrowth of my involvement in FurrySpace on Furrymuck from 2005-2010. Something more acceptable for something a bit harder sci-fi than a yoshi, this Vector's only real "ability" was that he was obsessed with flying/driving machines, and had grown into an ace pilot.
Yoshi Vector never really progressed past being an 18 year old punk adventurer. Selven Vector, also existing in a universe my companions and I called NeoSpace, grew and evolved as a character; He's a 36 year old veteran of two wars, a one-time renegade, and now an aimless scoundrel and vaguely goodhearted badguy. A space outlaw, if you will.
Vector the Yoshi presents some difficulties; Some of the relationships formed in that time, they ended very badly. Some immaturity on all sides, maybe, but certainly on my own account. And most of the people involved have also moved along, abandoning their characters and such. I've been presenting my own headcanon here, however. And I think he primarily gets used to explore "Bad End" ideas. He's a self-styled hero, gifted with amazing speed due to his Speed Booster sneakers, he gives an opportunity to think about a character who is essentially a super hero. Losing, for him, means basically permanent imprisonment and torture; Richter's goals were never expounded upon beyond he wanted to essentially warehouse yoshies.
Vector Sprint, of Neospace, is a more realistic fellow. He's more a Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Mal Reynolds kind of guy. Quick with his wit and quick to draw a gun, losing, for him, means retreating, licking his wounds, and moving on, as it does for all of us. Unless, of course, a storyline calls for losing to have more dire consequences. Space battles and the like. He probably won't get used so much here; Though I do have a story I have been trying to write for a while based on the Neospace universe, that sees Vector as a bit character in a conflict between the Selvens and the WuJen, a draconic species in that universe.

Posted 14 years agoToday I discovered that a dear friend from Second Life, Nekorina Bourjade, FA page 
latexneko died on April 10th. This is the first time I've lost a friend over the internet, but it feels just as terrible as losing someone in real life. I will sorely miss her antics on SL.

If you've noticed, I have a lot of pics in my FA of my avatar on SL in rubber. I like it. I think it's sexy on many levels. And the suits I dress my avatar in are also a form of crossdressing, I'd suppose, as they're very feminine, sporting false breasts, skirts, corsets and other feminine, fetishy articles of clothing.
I know it won't be for everyone. In fact, I'm sure some might find it downright odd, or even offensive, to see a yoshi, of all things, dressed head to toe in rubber, high heeled boots, and garter belts, and sporting immense inflated breasts. All while certain cues hint that the wearer is indeed a male.
Guess I'm writing this out of boredom, at this point, but wanted to get that off my chest, that I know what comprises most of my site isn't everyone's cup of tea.
