So today I discovered an AI generator that had prompts with some of my digimon characters, one of which was almost perfectly generated to every detail. I find this to be extremely disgusting and disturbing that someone would be so disrespectful of my characters and artists and train an AI tool so much that it can almost with no mistakes perfectly generate one of my characters. This would have been done over the course of many months.

If you are reading this and you're one of them, fuck you and everything you stand for. I hope you have the shittiest life.

There is little I can do now about it, but I hope that if you suddenly start seeing my characters prop up with people I've never commissioned or worked with before that you will help remove the filth from the internet. I will not provide the engine that I found the prompts on because it doesn't deserve any more attention or which character it is but I doubt its the only engine that is so strongly trained across the internet. To be honest I almost want to delete everything I have of my digimon because of how disturbing this is for me. I am not a fan of AI art or the jobs it steals from artists. AI Art uploaders are not artists, they will never be artists. What they are, are thieves and fools.

Sorry for the long rant but I thought I should just... post something about it. Please be careful if you see a piece from someone claiming to have my characters, if I'm not credited and it's not an artist I've worked with before, then it's likely not from me.

Surprising no one at all, FA has finally responded to my ticket and it is official, Yami is no longer allowed... and surprising to me, Palisol, my fucking felyne from monster hunter, is also banned??? Bruh, it's a fucking anthropomorphic cat. lmao.

What nonsense. This site is a joke and the mod who came up with this idea has no idea what he's doing whatsoever. They are going after short characters, it's that simple. If it's short and has a dick, it's banned regardless of anything.

I am going to be nuking my gallery and moving on to a site that actually knows how to run and treat its members. The Felyne thing just kills me, they have knuckleheads with no sense behind the scenes. I'm severely disappointed.

The bigots and charlatans who can't separate reality from fiction is clear as day. Don't expect much posting from me whatsoever on here moving forward. I merely want to keep in contact with artists I've come to commission. Unbelievable how bad this change is.

June is ending soon which means that FA's silly new rule will go into effect. My ticket thus far has gone unresolved, however based off the things I've seen from other similar artists, the only NSFW I can really keep on here is Sol's or the evolved versions of my digimon. It sucks, but if I want to keep my account active here, then I'll have to gut most of the stuff I have. Thus moving forward, since I mostly get stuff of my digimon at their base level, my posting here will probably decrease dramatically. There are artists here I would still like to commission so, I'd rather not have my account banned.

That being said, if you haven't done so already, you can still find my entire gallery over on Inkbunny and eventually itaku... posting 5 years worth of art takes a very long time. Though on itaku I'm choosing to omit some pieces that did not age too well.

In any case... just thought I'd give you guys an update.

Well, Yami is now banned under FA's new ludicrous rules. This new rules makes it so I have to gut my entire gallery of art. I won't delete anything yet until we get closer to July and maybe just maybe by some miracle, FA staff will pull their heads out of their own assholes and realize the ostracizing two communities was a bad move. The odds of that happening are 0 of course, but stranger things have happened.

I am all for stopping cub art on this platform and punishing offenders who pretend, but this hurts people who draw a certain way and people like me who like canonical anatomy and proportions. The utter disregard for the damage this can do to the lives of artists who grew up tuning their style to be the exact thing they're banning can have emotional and mental effects to an individual and cause all manner of mental and emotional trauma because they're being told that the way they do things is unacceptable and treated as some sort of crime.

I will not change the way my characters are to please some tool in his moms basement with nothing better to do then to come up with asinine policies because they have this idea in their head that they're "saving children." That is one way to disguise your personal feelings for certain art as some pointless heroic stance. I guarantee this ban is going to have 0 effect on any actual pedophiles hurting children. Instead of targeting art... a drawing of lines and colors, they should do something that will actually make a difference in their communities outside the internet. Unless you're actively hunting online predators, you're doing dick all to help anyone. You're just patting your own ego with a delusion that you're making a difference by keeping predators off your site and making it a safe haven for artists. If only it were that easy.

My digimon are not wanted here, they are a part of who I am, thusly I'm not wanted here. I will be moving to Inkbunny along with a number of other people. I will be posting far less on FA after July. If and when I get art of my non-digimon characters, I might post them here still. There are still artists here that I like to commission so I don't want to disappear entirely because unlike the staff here, I actually like supporting artists no matter the style they choose to draw in.

The new comic I am working on for the last two years will not be posted here, so if you've been waiting for Dragon Fruit, you can definitely find it on Inkbuny and e6 in the coming months.

In light of the new rule going into effect in July, which now puts an umbrella over Pokémon and Digimon characters with child-like proportions which... are a lot of them, because they're small creatures, a good portion of my characters all fall under that umbrella now. Sven, Teo, Yol, the new princes, perhaps even Yami and Sol. Despite literally none of them being children, their bodies are small, or they look cute. I'll remove the obvious ones I know will get dinged, such as the new princes.

Sven was already dinged once because I used the proper categorization from the Japanese translation. I was basically told by an FA mod, "I don't care, it still says the word Child, therefore, child."

I have since removed that piece in question... which was posted in 2016 mind you. I'll stay as long as I can, but I imagine that Sven will likely be hit again since he is small and cute. Especially since it will just take one FA mod who knows fuck all about Digimon to deem them a child and suspend me.

So much for being an inclusive place. :v)

I definitely understand the need to crack down on minors on this site, but now accounts that have no business being categorized as such will be targeted just based on an individuals belief. In my opinion, I think such a thing could be handled better, but that doesn't seem likely.

So if Sven does wind up being struck because of his appearance, I will remove him from FA (or any other of my cute characters that are struck) and will no longer be posting here. I'll keep this account open simply to support my artist friends and have commissions done.

So, I was wrongfully terminated from my job back in November... been struggling to find work ever since as my finances dwindle down. With taxes due I fully expect to be nearly crippled by them as a result so it's not a very good time to be me. The art I always look forward to getting will severely decline while I struggle to recover. Now for those that don't know, I am a writer when it comes to any artistic talent and while I look for work, I've decided to get back into it and I'll be releasing chapters of Sol and his life with his family, including Kai and Janus just to keep some content going.

So, turns out fate just wanted to give me a good fuck around. I lost my job only to have my boss call me and give it back to me because of some circumstance so I'm working again, yaaaay. As if my heart needed any additional stress. -w-
