Hey everybody. I get a week off from the studio and during my daughter's naps I will probably have a few opportunities to stream and work on some commissions, which I'm really happy about. It's not likely I will finish them all. Hell, I still have a big comic which might be the only one I do, who knows. Either way, it'd be cool for you to drop in and they'd usually be happening 12-3 est and 7-9 est if/when I can.

Though in worse news my mental health isn't doing well. My wife is going through something very, very serious and has had to spend less time with me and time with specific friends. I feel completely helpless and it's pretty painful to see her so torn up. I know I'm vague, and I don't want to be any more specific. It also doesn't help that my Mom's cancer treatments gave stopped working so we're just shy of the big "do we do chemo to buy a few months?" Decision. I'm surrounded by pain and I want to draw for you because that makes me happy, but I'm always working.

Work and family life hasn't allowed me to draw in nearly two months! A new project at the animation studio starts in January and perhaps it won't need me to do extra hours at home... maybe it will be worse... I don't know. Either way, I take your commissions seriously and I fully intend to do them all. Just l... keep making the wrong predictions and getting overly excited to draw your you. Sigh...

So if you all couldn't tell, my gamble to switch studios in hopes for less work and more money failed amazingly in both regards. Whatever little drawing and relaxing time I had before, has been replaced with extra at home studio hours. I fully intend to get to all these commissions, my epic ycha and an Aver and Woven ref at some point. Guys... I just got a dumb idea. How would you like to get a more or less free
2 hour commission from me? Or a horribly one sided trade? I LOVE seeing dumb art of my characters, as a joke or as earnest attempts by non or new artists. It's quite endearing. I'm currently re-branding and making Aver my main. I would love to see everyone's, literally 5 minute doodles of Aver https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33045874/ (or any of my other characters I don't mind). I say 3 minutes because a good artist and a bad artist look similar in 3 minutes. You're welcome to do a sketch longer, you're welcome to do a sketch shorter. Just don't think you're entitled to win because you put in waaay more time than your competitors.

I will choose a winner based off of what I think is the best. Funniest, best drawn, most insightful, doesn't matter. Whichever speaks to me. Then I choose you as a winner and you get a 2 hour sketch from me - whatever you want, with you know, obvious within reason stuff.

- I am phasing out this account and moving slowly to  aver-art The next few weeks I will be prettying it up and fully setting up an 100% Good Aver Art Ko-Fi page with some tasty deals. So keep an eye out

So my gamble to switch to an easier show for less pay failed miserably and I'm essentially making less than minimum right now. This has all but confirmed that my wife and I will launch Plan D or E by this point. I will be a stay at home Dad. Saving us money on Babysitting and house cleaning and allowing my wife to treat more patients- so this is how we can afford it. This also, get ready guys, will let me use all nap times , around 4 hours each day, to draw commissions!!! And this will probably continue for 2 or 3 years!!! So I'm going to be one hell of a busy artist. It will be a month or so, but tell your friends, I won't just do goo, I'm going to do it all!!! Tons of streaming, contests, auctions, adoptables, etc. Patreon has somewhat let me down, so I've created a Ko-fi account where you can subscribe, donate and lock in monthly commissions. Apparently I am a bad husband because I did not see the signs of my wife not only slipping back into her multiple depressions and relapse, nor was I seeing the signs that I was neglecting her. I was so caught up in my new job hopefully solving all our problems. I have rejiggered my life's priorities to make her happy again and fix our marriage. Drawing was already my lowest priority, but now it's lowerer it seems. I don't know what that means for these commissions, maybe things won't change, maybe they will. This is just a life and drawing update is all. I am currently picking away at the substances ycha, as those have been paid for. They are top, low priority ha ha ha

So in theory, my new job starting at the end of June, should be easier and thus giving me more free to draw. How much is the big question, but I have quite a few ideas and ambitions.

One of them is to at least do a 1 hour stream once a week, one with specific challenge/entertainment goal. I want to blitz design some wacky random hybrids. I pick two animals at random and then, most importantly, I pick a wild card as a third thing. Wild card as in goo, taur, wings, robot, demonic, chibi, buff, etc. You get the picture. Please, please let me know your ideas and suggestions for more wild cards.

And well, if more free time opens, then I will open commissions again and stream animation as a separate weekly event.

And also.... something might get ... upgraded.... in regards to Verinn during this extra draw time.

Verinn:
The mascot of this account. Gooey, prototype goo that's barely functional, but extremely crafty and deceptive. Can encase organic matter and merge and digitize them into his memory storage and recharge his batteries. Normally the merge is nearly 100% in his favor, hence the deception.

Invisible, psychic and a lover of teasing. You can't escape her if she chooses you to pleasure. Maybe she'll show her form, maybe she won't.

(Unamed) flat rubber lizard:
He's flat rubber infinitely stretchy and takes whatever you want to do to him

Hermit:
A thin, fleshy, wiry being that attaches itself to electronics and gives it life and some mild transformation ability. Think transformers, only, maybe two alternate forms and they have to make sense mass and material wise. The organic part slowly grows, simply feeding off being plugged in through the outlet. If they've grown not too fast or two slow, then then have just enough energy to slither out their wiry form and must migrate to a new "shell."
Technically, there is no limit to how large of a shell it can occupy, but that good balance of power consumption gets tricky. The new shell could have no power access and Hermits species woukd quickly die. But if it's like, a power plant, that would be too much energy and they would grow too fast or just overload and die. This balance is usually what keeps their population from spreading way too out of control. Other restrictions are mass and just complications of course. It's easy to transform while a TV, (which is what Hermit is right now) but say if one got to the level of a naval ship, all the size, spreading out itself and the weight... maybe only flipping panels around, running the ship, opening the doors? Etc. So no giant mechs. Friendly, potentially tentacled transformer

(Unamed) plant/jungle character:
A being that is a forest/jungle and can form as many bodies, vines, seeds for spreading as it wants for pleasure and protection

Parchie:
A living drawing demon of a cartoon wolf that haunts a single person, "jumping" from any paper to any paper talking to his friend/victim. If there is a picture of you the wolf can do whatever he wants to it, and you feel whatever he does, so long ad you look

(Unamed) novice goo:
An all powerful, super versatile goo, but completely incompetent and hilariously bad at all its abilities. Can transfer its mind into any size of any liquid and control it

I've reached the age of 32. Been on FA for nearly a third of my life. Hmmm. Getting fajitas with friends tonight

So my recent uploads were thanks to my wife being on vacation and baby nap times not having to be used for chores or studio work. But I've been gifted a premium Picarto.tv subscription and I sure attempt to put it to some use. Now let's not get too overboard, I still have financial and free time issues, so auctions and sketches are still the only things that I can handle.

Speaking of which, I'm going to take suggestions for characters, themes or situations. Maybe you've all been silently begging for more Puppet? New characters in my brain but haven't drawn yet? Generic furry art? Let me know

Yeah. Very impromptu. Wife is on vacation and I got a sitter. So I thought I would do some drawing for the first time in a long while. Note me if you want want a 1 hour sketch or a doodle lol. Or catch the stream

This journal has been long time coming. Every time I think more free time is on the horizon, the opposite happens. My last YCHA has been picked away at for months and I'm only say, half way done. I get maybe like an hour every two weeks to work on commissions. Like, it's not practical in the least. So I don't intend to bail out of art I owe, that would be evil, but I'm not taking any more. For like, Years. If I have a golden opportunity, I might do stream commissions, but that's it. I need to make a cut in my life.

Also, no offense to anyone, but the furry community has different priorities and problems than I do. It's all positive and I'm glad everyone is rooting for me, but when my wife is having a panic attack, my daughter is screaming, I'm behind on studio work and some random life bill gets increased, I don't need hugs, RPing or a sticker. I need thousands of dollars, a break, legit psychology, babysitting, more work hours and more sleep in the day. Just be ranting, but I've just become so disconnected.

Anyways, I'm not closing my account or anything like that. Just, not really going to be that active. I'll keep working on my overdue commissions, but I'm definitely not taking more. Lol, unless you're asking for something worth thousands of dollars.
