The fandom I joined 17 years ago seems to have died and what's left are pretenders who attack actual furries for being furries. Used to, you were accepted no matter what, as long as you didn't hurt anyone or anything, now.. you get witch-hunted for drawing an anthropomorphic character being "too animalistic" or drawing an anthropomorphic character for looking "too young". Back in my day, it didn't matter what you drew as long as you weren't hurting anyone or anything, it didn't matter if it was cub, feral or whatever else. Because it didn't hurt anyone or anything it was purely for fun or to cope with something. Fiction is Fiction, Reality is Reality. Don't mix those two up. Getting upset over a drawing is just downright silly, but people do. A LOT of people do and it saddens me that I have to be very clear that the artist you see drawing feral or cub IS NOT a pedophile nor a zoophile, it's just a damn drawing. A lot of people who are into one or the other are people who suffered from childhood trauma, such as myself, I grew up sexually abused and groomed, I was raped when I was 6. My family heavily abused me until I moved out at the age of 21. Does someone drawing cub hurt me? Fuck no, I use cub art and the like as a coping mechanism for my shitty past.

And not only that, but look. People need to learn to not give a flying fuck what people do and that they could be much more productive than wasting everyone's time attacking artists and the like over a drawing. You could be drawing, paying taxes, doing chores, hanging out with friends, going outside.. etc. literally anything else and it would be way more productive. Just leave everyone alone and let people enjoy things. That simple.

So, after asking around on a sub-reddit (by suggested to many to do so) it seems this situation Demir and I are in have gotten so bad that we have no choice but to move out of here ASAP. I am already contacting Animal Rescue to resolve his mum's animal hoarding issue and I plan to contact authorities as soon as I can. I hate that it befalls to me to do this since we were really hoping his mum would finally see how fucked we are and actually try to help us improve the situation, but.. nope. She'd rather bitch about it and do fuck-all. I know hoarding is a seriously difficult issue to take care of and often requires intervention and, sadly, this intervention will be one hell of a rude awaking for his mum because we may lose this house.

So yeah, I have no clue what Demir and I can do currently, we don't really have anyone that can give us a temporary place to stay and we don't have the money to just.. up and leave so I don't know what to do. We just... can't keep dealing with this forever. It's already affecting my health and is probably affecting his and his mum's. Half the house smells, badly, of cat piss and the entire house is falling apart, this cannot continue any longer.

I do also know his mum may go into a fit of rage and kick me the hell out for doing this, but what choice do I have? She refuses to do anything about it, even when we've tried to get her to improve and tried to tell her that hoarding cats is making the living situation so much worse.

you say you want to fix up the house, but i need to tell you honestly, that its going to take hundreds of thousands of dollars to fix a house where floorboards are rotten through and every wall has mold. know how i know this? my family home where i grew up was left to sit for a few years while the housing market "stabilized." during that time, a pipe burst but because no one was living there, the house grew mold for an undetermined time period. the home insurance paid nothing and half the house was affected. as it turns out, the mold it grew was so toxic that no one was allowed inside without special suits and respirators which had to be stripped off after exiting the house then sent to be incinerated for safety. a quote to rip out all the walls/insulation/flooring/etc without treating the mold or rebuilding ANYTHING was going to cost 250k. if you are not in a place to spend that kind of money which you don't have, you all need to get out of there and sell the property as is so it can be torn down."

EDIT: Demir pleaded with me to hold off for a bit longer to try and push his mum to do some kind of improvement, I really didn't want to but.. I caved in since I am aware that if I do it immediately, he'd have a panic attack. This is still an emergency situation, I don't want to hold off for much longer.


I won't be as active on the internet and I'll be putting off everything to focus on life, I can't just sit around and do nothing.

As many memories as I've had with this site, very few were positive, hell, I've seen people get banned over the dumbest shit possible and an old account of mine also got banned even though I hadn't used it in like.. 6 years? So yeah. It's honestly a pretty disrespectful site to it's own users. Not to mention the CP and ZP spam bots that come around every few days and they fail to find a way to keep that from happening and with how archaic this site is in comparison to Inkbunny and e621, it's a miracle this site is even remotely popular.

Please, fellow artists, do yourselves a favour and go for much better sites. I can even give you a list of where to go. If you want to know, my contacts are in my profile.

For example:

Inkbunny, it's 4 years younger than FA, but serves as a much better site, however, it's biggest downside is the huge focus on cub art, while I, personally, don't care, I know cub art puts off a lot of people, Inkbunny also doesn't allow porn of humans/humanoids (Elves, dwarves, Tiefling-esque demons etc.) but, for the most part, Inkbunny has a great blacklisting system, a pretty ok search engine and a friendly community. Inkbunny is also very pleasing to look at with the artsy backgrounds and such. Seems good for mobile use as well, hadn't tested that.

e621, while outdated in many ways, just like Inkbunny, it has a great blacklisting system and a pretty okay search engine... however, it's community is about as toxic as FA's if not worse, e621 is also quite the eyesore in appearance and is very, clearly, archaic in it's own right. e621, also, unlike Inkbunny, accepts all forms of art, so no need to worry about getting your art removed if it's human/humanoid.

I have noticed many artists freaking out over it and worrying it'll take their only joy in life away, don't worry, it's just a fad and will die off in a year or so once people realize it can't compete with real artists. I do understand the worry and I am also put off by it to the point where I just feel the need to give art a rest until the fad is over. (It's honestly why I hadn't drawn a lot and just not really doing well when it comes to actually coming up with new stuff)

Despite knowing Ai Art is a temporary problem, it still annoys me greatly that there's people who see it as a replacement for actual artists and use it to "become" artists. Ai only copies, it doesn't create. All Ai has made, art-wise, is just stolen pieces of art merged together into one weird blob. It's greatly understandable how much it frustrates artists, but, please, do not lose your passion and drive for art over this. You’re valuable and irreplaceable to us.

And it's always been like that, even when I was a really young kid. I never saw myself as male, I actually saw myself as more female than male but as I got older, I started leaning more towards non-binary and even that feels unfitting for me. Genderfluid feels unfitting too, same for even MTF/Transfemale. So I am utterly lost on it.


And hell, to one friend, I mentioned that I have abnormally high estrogen for someone born as a male and they suggested I might be intersexed...which, who the hell knows, I might try to go for a doctor about that one day...when my mate and I are finally in Ireland.

Admittedly, I've always considered doing this since I do plan to re-draw some of it, just dunno when. A lot of this involves my first major/main sona, a pink otter named "Sora". I stayed as that otter the longest out of all my sonas, second longest being my bunny-otter.

Also, some of it may feature my ex, Taz...which I am not really sure if I want to upload those out of respect of my current mate. So you may not see those, except maybe the ref I drew for Taz.

I would have to dig it out of a bookcase in our room, but, if enough people want to see what my art used to look like, I will. A lot of it was back when I was a senior in high school. Anything before that, I think I lost, so all of this will be 8-ish years old, possibly older, I am not sure.

Hell, my friend, ButlerDog13 probably has some of it saved on his computer since not all of it was traditional.

I stopped working on them since I was stressed out with them and I only recently brought them back, however, I haven't made a new doc for them, but I plan to very soon. The Xandros are apart of the same universe as the Nairuta, but live on a separate planet. However, some of the Nairuta live on the Xandrosian planet.

Also, admittedly, my Xandros was originally a goat-monster, and to keep with the theme, I just went with making the Xandros live in an Undertale-like universe, same for the Nairuta, which would make the whole magic thing make a bit more sense, I guess. Other than that, physically, the Nairuta are the same as their old selves, just with some minor differences, maybe.

Open-minded and friendly. The fur fandom goes by that motto when they're anything but that. Hypocrisy is common to see amongst furs and it's just.. irritating to say the least. "Open-minded and friendly", my ass. It's like.. I love being a fur, but I also hate it because friendliness and open-mindedness isn't common anymore. Ever since the mid-2010's, I've been seeing more and more hypocritical, toxic furs and it's just depressing. I guess, from henceforth, I don't consider myself apart of this community. I am tired of it. Like.. I'll still draw furry stuff and still have a sona, but I just don't want to be apart of a community that makes other people's lives miserable over stupid shit. Learn to be nice for once.

So, if some of you have noticed, I go as my bunny-otter on social media (Twitter, Telegram, Discord etc.) but stick to my Toriko on Artsy social media (Inkbunny, FA etc.) and that's just to help me manage two sonas at once without having to pick between the two. Admittedly, I know I'll do more art of my bunny-otter than my Toriko just because I am my bunny-otter in more places than my Toriko.. but still. o3o

Either way, I wanted to go for being my bunny-otter since I did make him more identical to me than my Toriko for obvious reasons.. but I wanted to be my Toriko as well, so this is my solution to that.

And, sadly, 2021 won't be much better, but, hopefully it ends there. 2020 was possibly the worst year of literally nearly everyone's lives. To have witnessed so much death and chaos all in one fucking year is just.. insane and depressing.

And, not only that, but the Trumpers are going to keep bumping those death numbers up because they refuse to believe COVID is a dangerous virus. Personally, I think it's a good thing they disregard this disease as their stupidity will be their own undoing and, not only that, but A LOT of them are anti-vaxxers so... yeah, they're not going to live very long just wish the gov would take away their children from them and give those children to actually smart and good families.


But, other than the grim and dark stuff, I do hope that 2021 will, at least, be the start of something good. So, early Happy New Years, and hope everyone has a good time this evening. Soo.. Instead of remaking the Kirutas, I gave the species to a friend of mine, a very close friend, he goes by as Sexus on Discord and his FA is Cor_Fortium He's a budding artist and has been improving at a rather fast rate. He'll probably surpass me in a year or two. To anyone who's interested, please check out his FA, he's a dorky fluffball. x3

As for the new species, generally, right now, they're just birds, there's not much to them yet and I haven't even made docs for them. They're named the "Toriko" and that idea was given to me by my mate, Kitsy. One thing I plan on doing is giving them Zodiacs, similar to how Homestuck's Troll Zodiacs are but with no.. discrimination or whatever, each zodiac deals with a type of magic and some can be good with certain types of weapons. There's a total of 12, of course.

I don't generally know what I want to do with the new species yet, but I do want to make them different from the Kirutas. It may be a while before anything more than just a ref comes out. >w>;;

So.. I want to re-design/re-think on the Kirutas. I dunno what to do though. I know they're generally plain when it comes to custom species and I don't know if treading to the synthetic/robot path would be a good idea and I don't want to make them look like Avalis.

I also do want to make it to where I'd feel content with having a Kiruta as my main sona... but I just need to figure out what.

It's annoying because I love one of their franchises, that being LoZ, but I don't like how they constantly fuck over fans, abandon franchises, shit on older games from franchises.. etc.

And I completely agree with them. Honestly, I'd love to find a LoZ alternative that allows you to make your own character, has similar races to LoZ and is a lot like BotW.

There's been people that are incredibly passive aggressive and inquisitive towards me because I tend to make or remake sonas. I understand that I do make sonas a lot but I have a hard time sticking to one sona because something about them may not fit me or something got me in the mood for a new species.

I just ask to be patient with me and just enjoy whatever art comes out of it, is all. Questioning me and being rather passive aggressive towards me is going to push me into not wanting to interact with you or the group/server you're in. I am already self-conscious enough about my constant sona switching issue, I don't need someone being an ass about it towards me.

I have 3 things I want and need to do.

1. I want to learn Japanese WITH my mate, I don't care how long it takes

2. I want to lose all the excess weight I have on my body

3. I want to start over COMPLETELY on my art, I've lost all passion for it and want a fresh start.

I know my art's going to be garbage for a while but I'd appreciate any help I can get from this. I don't want to regret losing this passion for drawing so.. I want to find some way to rekindle it. Like.. I miss the days where I'd draw dozens upon dozens of drawings, these days, it may be one or two draws per month.

Man, I can't wait until this "Real job = generic jobs" mentality dies off, I am so tired of people thinking Artistry/Writing isn't a real job, IT'S BEEN A REAL JOB FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS, YA FUCKIN' TWAT. Seriously, I HATE that so damn much, If any of you say "Get a real job", you deserve to be thrown off a cliff into a pit of hungry sharks. Artistry/Writing is a hard job and is below minimum wage half of the time, and those fuckers have the audacity to say that shit.

People who think certain jobs are fake fail to realize that those jobs have been around much longer than modern jobs. You don't have to be a damn historian to know that shit either.

They take art for granted, same for writing, and without art/literature, your life would be extremely dull. I mean, hell, practically everything has some kind of involvement with art and/or writing.
