By now I'm sure everyone's heard the news of Dragoneer's death. I am crushed.

He was the first person to ever commission me, and helped me set myself up to pursue that journey to this very day.

Without him I may never have had that first push into furry art, and none of the work I've done would have come to pass.

This is a colossal blow to the community he helped to foster and build... my god, the things he did to ensure a free and safe bastion for all of us here.

To say he will be sorely missed is a tragic understatement, my heart is broken...

For those still waiting in the queue for commissions, worry not, i'll be back to it once I get home! I haven't forgotten about you :3

The commission queue is on temporary hold until I can get through some of the current list, I really don't want to bite off more than I can chew or cause people to have to wait for several months while my slow arse works through these pieces...

I know I forgot to actually create a journal announcing the opening of commissions to coincide with the price list i'd posted, and I apologize to any fluff who may have missed this current round, but there WILL be many others!

And I am..... GOBSMACKED and thrilled at how many people still jumped on and how quickly, I adore you all XD

If I get through a couple more commissions and things seem to be moving along smoothly, i'll reopen things and continue adding folks to the list, just as long as they don't mind waiting!

Anywho, back to the journey...

I'm so tired, but in a good way. I had a hell of a blast at AC this year, magical as always!

Now that i've unpacked and slept a bit i'm gonna continue on the commissions that are waiting in the list, so for those waiting thank you so much for being so patient with me! I will get them going ASAP!

We're off to see the fluffies, those wonderful, wonderful fluffies at AC!

I know, been a while...

Commissions are now open, but i'm going to take them on a bit differently than I used to. For a full description, please read my Terms of Service on the front page.

A list of prices and descriptions can be found both under the 'Commissions' tab on my FA page, AND through a link on the front page, just below the banner!

If you're interested in a commission, send me a message with whatever description/info and references you have, and i'll add you to the Trello queue (viewable from my front page below the banner)

Once I get to your name, i'll reach out to you through whichever means you've given (preferably FA notes, but Twitter, Telegram or email can work too) and hammer out any other details you may have come up with, even if the idea has changed overall. Once that's set to go, i'll send out an invoice, and once payment goes through i'll get started on your piece!

I think doing it this way will greatly reduce the anxiety created from having a large number of people all paying up-front. If for any reason I get to you and you can no longer pay for a commission, or are no longer interested, i'll simply move on to the next in line. No hard feelings, no worries. There'll be other chances, I know life can happen!

Hey everyone,

Just following up with this journal for everyone still waiting for commissions from me, i'm starting to slowly feel better, though the recovery process has been ridiculously slow.

I'm pecking away at the commissions on hand again, for a couple hours at a time before the dizziness/brain fog periodically comes back to mess with me. As far as Covid goes, would not recommend, 1/5 stars and all that...

I am truly sorry to those who've had to wait a month or more rather than a couple weeks for me to get back to it. For those who are still waiting on sketches/updates, if it comes down to it and you just can't afford to wait any longer, I will absolutely do full refunds if you wish to move on, though please be assured, I will do everything I can to fulfill your commissions! Believe me, I want to see them come to fruition myself :3

Once this current batch is clear, i'm going to re-work the way I do commissions so that people don't have to gamble on whether I can get my shit together or not for any given reason. Meaning I'll most likely drop the 'Payment Up Front for a Slot' sort of thing, which worked well enough when i'd had one or two people in the list at a time. At this point I can see exactly why this isn't fair to the customer who has to throw that money at the artist and gamble on whether that artist will honour the contract...

Might be looking at more of a system where I'll form a list of the people who request a commission, then once I get to that specific person on said list, contact them and get the payment and ball rolling on what they'd like, or move on past those who no longer have interest or don't have the funds, etc.... something like that anyways. I'll need to build something better, because I can't keep doing it the way i've always done it, at least not when there's this many people wanting work from me (which was unprecedented when i'd randomly decided to re-open commissions earlier in the year. You folks have absolutely floored me with your support over the last few months!)

Also, if anyone out there who reads this has an idea as to a better, more efficient system I could put together after these current commissions, please fire it my way or comment here! Any suggestions are seriously appreciated!

AnthroCon was fantastic, just gotta preface with that much. I had a monumental time, so many amazing people I got to meet and hang out with. It was overwhelming in the most wonderfully exhausting way! Highly recommend for all those wanting to make at least one trip there to see it...

That being said, shortly after it ended we'd nearly all contracted Covid, so now things are crawling (almost literally) along. I'm gonna chip away at the commissions I have left on the docket. I know i've taken WAY too long on this batch, and am going to figure out a better way to take them on once i'm through this wave.

As of typing this, I feel awful, but I am getting through the worst of it. Ironically it's the first time i've caught the damn thing, and I can't say I recommend, 1/5 stars, thumbs down, angry emoji and so on...

Overall, had a great time at the convention. Now to just recover as best I can so that this summer can be more productive, and thank you all for your supreme patience with me!

Anywho, back to it!

Heya all! Just wanted to give this quick update on commissions. Things are moving, they are a little slow, but they are moving, and i'll update the queue as I get through various stages and such.

I seem to have come down with something that's making me drag quite a bit, and i'm waiting to speak to my doctor in a week or two... BUT even then i'm getting a bit done every day! I'll post finished pieces as I go, once I get the next couple commissions done. And i'll be streaming the line art and colour stages for the most part!

Okay, gonna open for a few more. Just as a heads-up, I need to slow things down a little and pace myself, that last batch I really didn't do myself any favours speed-wise, and nearly burned myself out by the end with the anxiety of getting things done. That was my dumb mistake!

I've refined the price page a little by adding and defining sequential works vs. full-blown comic pages, haven't raised existing prices yet in fairness to those who were interested after i'd opened for the first batch. I'll further refine my prices as time goes on, but I do realize where i'm at skill-wise...

I will clarify this though; I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DECLINE A PROJECT. I feel for my own sanity I need to say this, I'm all for doing comic pages and larger works, but if there's a busy queue I may need to decline larger projects in order to get other people's commissions in a (relatively) timely fashion. It doesn't mean i'll never do it, I just have to pick and choose my battles right now, but if you are curious/interested please don't hesitate in asking first!

As far as pricing and my terms of service, nothing has seriously changed yet, but i'm going to try and limit how many I take on at once, so as not become overwhelmed. I wanna kind of tip-toe my way back into the process.

That being said, I do reserve the right to stream the process, unless otherwise stated. If you don't particularly feel comfortable with me streaming the art, that's fine, but it needs to be communicated so there's no confusion and such! I have linked my Picarto on the front page for easy access to said streams, so if anyone feels like seeing how the sausage is made, c'mon in!

Seems the streaming took a bit of a nose-dive today, sorry again to any who joined as soon as I shut it down. Things just weren't working and I was getting more and more frustrated.

I'll try again this weekend once I have more time and a better idea of what direction to come at the comic's colours.

I'm starting up some streaming once again, that is until the next week of work throws it off.

I'll try to keep up the regularity of my streams as I work through this comic, i'm still trying to figure out a way to 'schedule' things better. Because I tend to crash pretty hard in the early evenings, I may need to find a way to push some of those sessions 'till then and start at a later time so more people can take a look at what i've been up to!

Just an addition that I forgot to put in the previous journal, I'm going to be putting a temporary hold on commissions in order to go full-steam on this new large project I have.

Going into this whole quarantine crisis I had no idea i'd suddenly have a steady stream of commissions coming my way. All I could see when this started was anxiety-based fog, and no future to speak of...

Thank you to all who commissioned me in this dire time, not only was the income it provided helpful as hell, it helped to keep my mind focused on things OTHER than the near panic of the last four months.

I really can't thank you all enough for the serious patronage!

Been a long, rough year, but it's finally here! MFF is upon us!!!

Now I just have to pack, finish my new badge, somehow find time to load programs on my new tablet and charge it... AND attend a baby shower that I somehow got dragged into >:O
