Bluesky is nice and I love writing trans stories
Posted a year agoI feel like this happens often, falling into projects and forgetting to be social. It's been a little bit since I've gotten something ready to post here, but I've been writing a lot behind the scenes.
Before I talk about that though, I should mention that I have a bluesky. I've been meaning to bring it up here for ages, but it keeps slipping my mind. I'm over on https://bsky.app/profile/vicwaite.bsky.social if yall are interested.
In writing news, I've been busy. Earlier this month I started and finished a short story and submitted it to an anthology. No word on if it's been accepted yet or not, but either way I'm happy that I've reached a point where I feel like I have a shot at getting something published. It's been a goal of mine for several years, and it's good to be here.
I've got two other major works in the pipe at the moment as well. One of them is a lovecraftian horror novella centered around the protagonist figuring out they're trans and coming to grips with it. There's a part of me that wants to shop around for a publisher interested in it, but I could end up posting it here as well.
The other is a passion project that's trying to spwal into novel length. I read Induction by Syntax Takes a couple weeks ago (absolute banger of a story, I can't reccommend it highly enough) and it got me hooked hard on the Korps universe. I've started writing my own entry to the setting that's turned into a joint story with Jenny. It's been a blast to write so far and it's consumed me for the last two weeks or so. I'm probably going to spend the rest of the month chipping away at it, and I'll post segments of it as I get it presentable.
Come november I'll probably take a little break from it and take a commission or two and wrap up my contributions to Garuda's pokemon pack
TLDR, I'm on bluesky at https://bsky.app/profile/vicwaite.bsky.social , I've been on a tear writing some trans stories, and potential commission slots in november

Commission Slots Going out
Posted a year agoGood morning yall, I hope you're doing well~ I want to take a moment and thank everyone that boosted my commission announcement, especially SmallerGod.
I closed out the for last night, and I'm in the process of getting in touch with everyone who submitted a form. Everyone who applied will be getting a slot, so if you don't see an email from me in the next few hours, check your spam folders. We'll talk some details, and I'll get outlines to yall as soon as possible
Thanks again yall~ Nothing banishes the imposter syndrome quite like a full round of commissions <3 As usual, if you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with me here or elsewhere ^^

Commissions Closed
Posted a year agoGood morning yall, I hope you're having a good summer and staying at least a little cool. It's been a long time since I've done this, but I want to do some commisions again. I miss writing for folks, and a little extra income would be very nice X3
I'm doing things a littler differently this time. I'll be using paypal invoices instead of commiss.io this round. My prices have also increased to reflect the improvements I've made in the meantime. Discounts will be available for including my characters, and potentially other options in the future.
I'm only taking vignettes and short stories for now, both to ensure this new method of handling commissions works and so that I don't get bogged down too hard for yall. The form will be open when this journal goes up, and I'll close it out to assign three slots after midnight. If yall ahve any questions, feel free to ask me here ^^
For reference, you can find a roster of my characters here:
https://forms.gle/nC21D5RD3aTn4Nak6
My terms and conditions can be found here:
https://forms.gle/vwUvL1guFu24GotT7
And if you're interested in a commission, the form to fill out is here~

Looking for Romance Novel Recommendations
Posted a year agoI really need to be more active here, apologies for that
I'm still writing behind the scenes, I promise X3 The stories I have finished are still waiting on final approval, and one of the smaller projects I've started is going towards Garuda's Pokemon Art Pack for much later this year. That one's a collection of smaller stories, and I'll see if I can get one or two posted as a teaser at some point~
The project that's tying me up most is what I hope to be my first novel. I've gotten into its second draft recently, and it's got the bones of a romance story. Stuff I've written in the past has bits and peices of the romance genre in them, but I've never tackled a full one like this before. It's also a bit outside the scope of what I've read in the past.
Which brings me to my question. Do yall have any favorite romance books? I'd love to read some good ones to get a feel for them, and it's just good to expand my readiong tastes on top of that.

Cooking things up for the end of the year
Posted 2 years agoI have learned that it's very easy for me to fall into my own projects and forget to update things and then it's a couple months later. I will work on this.
I hope yall are doing well and staying safe. I'm writing this journal for a few reasons, the first of which is to thank yall for your comments and support.
Yall seemed to really like Alone in the Stars, and I appreciate all the comments that have been left on it. I felt like it was one of the first times I really leaned into trying to tell a story, instead of simply having a story as a vehicle for kinks. Turns out you don't have to pick one or the other X3 I also really enjoyed doing it, and it's kind of shaped how I've written stuff going forward.
Mostly, its changed my editing process. Up until now I've gone on instinct when it comes to touching a story up. I'd rewrite a few passages here and there, but I mostly was going back through and looking for clunky wording or typos. A couple weeks ago I chanced on a book called The Story Grid by Shawn Coyne, which lays out a method to determine if a story works and how to go about fixing it. I'm still putting what I've learned into practice, but I like the results so far. It's also liberating to take some of the guess work out of this and I haven't been this motivated to write in a long time.
Which means I've got some stuff behind the scenes.
I wrote a story for my partner Smallergod's birthday back in August, and that's been mostly ready to post for a little while. I do want to give that another editing pass before I make that public though, because I think I can elevate that one a little more.
I've also got a couple stories for Garuda's Pokemon Art Pack~ They're btoh pretty substantial, and one of them is already the longest single thing I've written so far. I'm hoping to reach a level of quality you'd see from a published book with these, and I'm looking forward to getting them out there. The pack releases on December 25th, and I'll make another announcement when it's ready to go

Is there a Mastodon for Fat Furs or Authors out there?
Posted 2 years agoI am far from the most social person out there, as pretty much any of my friends can tell you, but im curious. With twitter's collapse I'm leaning toward mastodon. Are there any instances for fat furs or writing oriented ones folks are using?
It's almost been a year huh
Posted 2 years agoI didn't realize until recently it's been almost a year since I've said or posted anything here. A lot has happened in the meantime. I'm gonna talk a little about what's been going on in my life first, and then what I'm gonna do going forward later.
I took some commissions a while back. They took me a lot longer to finish than I would have liked, but everyone was patient with the longer turn around time, and I really appreciate that. The delay was due in part to me biting off a lot more than I have in the past, and the fact my appendix put me in the hospital for 10 days back in january. The doc had to cut me open for that one, and now I have a 6 inch scar on my stomach that gives me mixed feelings. I've recovered at this point though, and I'm extremely grateful to have most of my stamina back.
I also started HRT last week. I've known I'm nonbinary for a while, and now that I'm comfortably out of florida, I've decided to act on it. I'd change my name to Vic here if I could, but it's not a super bid deal.
Since I've been feeling kind of better again, I've been doing some background work. Most of that involves archiving everything I've written and bringing it up to the presentation standard I have now. I haven't been editing my older works or touching them up or anything, bascially just wrapping them up a little nicer. I've also been updating the folders here on this gallery as I've gone through, so hopefully that makes things a little nice on this end too. Ultimately, this is going to end in an archive yall will be able to download through mega and browse with calibre. I don't think there's a whole lot of interest in that honestly, but it's more of a 'for me' project anyway.
Finally, I have a back log of stories I plan on getting up here eventually, but honestly, my motivation to post has been low. My motivation to write has been kinda low too. Sparks still catch every so often, but it's a lot harder to just sit down and crank something out that it used to be. I like writing commissions for folks, but I need to be able to get them done faster before I can charge for it. Plus
I'm probably gonna devote more energy toward learning to draw again. We'll see how that goes

Posted 3 years agoGood day yall ^^
As the title says, I'm opening for commissions. The listing will be up over the weekend, and on Monday, I'll start filling slots and notifying folks. This is not first come first serve, so no worries about being the first one in the door.
The number of slots will be based on the length of what yall would like, so that's not a solid figure either.
If you're interested, please open up a project wiht me under my commissio listing
I look forward to what yall come up with ^^

Opening for commissions tomorrow (9/16)
Posted 3 years agoGood day yall, I hope you're doing well and staying safe ^^
Without going into too much detail here, things have changed quite a bit since my last journal. I'm living in a new part of the country, I'm working a new job, and I'm generally getting back to getting my life moving again. I've gotten back into the swing of writing some, and I've unlaunched my patreon page.
With things settling down a little bit, I want to take some commissions again. If nothing else, it'll help me recoup some moving costs X3 I'm not opening just yet, but I will be tomorrow afternoon/evening. I also have an idea on how I'll be running it.
I'm not sure many slots I'll be opening. That's going to depend on the length of the ideas yall have. Probably not too many though, since this is the first time I've done this style of slotting.
It will not be first come first serve, so no worries about being the first through the door. I'm thinking of a lottery system or something similar. It depends on how many folks are interested.
I'll be taking ideas all weekend and I'll close up probably monday afternoon. After that I'll get in touch with people and let everyone know if they got a slot or not.
I appreciate yall's interest in my writing ^^ I'm looking forward to your ideas, and I hope to make this a more reguar thing as I get settled in

On Separate TXT Posts
Posted 3 years agoI've been thinking about this a little lately. I feel like the best way to read my stories is the PDF (or EPUB) format, since that keeps all the formatting I've set. I also think it looks the best, but that's just me.
A while back I started uploading a TXT format in its own post, as opposed to putting the story in the desccription. I've been considering going back to that, or stopping the TXT uploads entirely, but I want to hear folks' opinions on that first.
So, if you prefer the TXT format over the PDF format, I'm a little curious as to why. I'd appreciate it if you let me know here in the comments

Commissions are Open
Posted 5 years agoHey everyone, I hope yall are doing well. I just want to let everyone know that I am open for commissions at the moment. Here's what I'm offering~
$20 Vignette
This is a flat, 1000 word story that's good for covering a single scene or goes well with a picture to add some flavor.
Scaling Short Story
These stories can go into much greater detail and cover multiple scenes depending on the length you're interested in. These start at over 1000 words and can be up to 10k, and the rate varies by length. Most of what's here on my page falls into this category
If you're interested in either of these, you can drop me a line on my commissio page. There's also some more detailed information there, if you have any questions ^^

Expanding Business
Posted 5 years agoI hadn't realized how long it's been since I made a journal here. A lot has changed since then, but I think that can be said for all of us. I hope yall have been doing well and staying safe.
I'm mostly making this journal to update yall on my plans. I've been out of a job since April, and given the US's handling of this outbreak, I feel like my safest option for the foreseeable future is to try to work from home. I've spent the last couple months adjusting to everything and figuring out how to manage myself, and I think I've finally got a sustainable work flow.
This has been the case for a bit now, but I'm making it official. I'm going to try to make a living off commissions and patreon support.
Regarding Commissions
I'm opening for commissions, and I've adjusted my rates. Shorter stories haven't increased in price much, and I'm still offering vignettes at their own rate. Longer works are going to be higher priced though. They take longer to plan and edit than shorter ones, so this will close that cap a little. My rates are on my commissio page, and if you have any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them here or there.
Regarding Patreon
It's going to be more than a tip jar with early access. I want to start doing patreon exclusive work, and I've already got a series for that planned out. I'll start drafting it next month, and I'll open up the tier when I have one or two chapters ready to go
I'm also bringing back the vignette tier, but it will be at a slightly higher price. I'm still deciding how many to open, but my supporters will have some advanced notice when I do.
I also have a discord server. I'm not ready to take it public, but it's open to my supporters right now.
If you've read this far, thank you. It's because of your support I feel like this option is even a possibility, and I'm excited to see how this works out

Should I upload txt versions of my stories too?
Posted 6 years agoFirst, happy thanksgiving to yall ^^ I hope you had a good one, and if you're not in the US or don't celebrate the day, I hope you used it as an excuse to eat lots X3
I only just noticed this today, but I mistakenly uploaded a .txt version of a story here a little bit ago. I schedule everything through postybirb now, and I create a txt version to post to SoFurry, but it looks like I sent it here as well by mistake. I like to keep everything as a PDF if I can, since that preserves the formatting without any extra effort. That said, it's literally no extra effort on my part to submit a txt version here too.
So I'd like to hear your opinions on it. Would yall like me to make that a regular thing, or stick with PDFs only?

Story/Smut Balance in Writing
Posted 6 years agoWhile I was editing a story this morning, I realized that I spend a lot of time setting up in my short stories. This most recent one came to about 5 pages long, and I think the first three were just advancing the plot to the smut
I personally don't have a problem with that, but I was curious about how you all feel about it. Does the setup and world building help give the kinks more weight, or do you think it's better to cut to the chase? No judgement either way, I'm just curious

March Patreon Story Poll + Updates
Posted 6 years agoGood afternoon everyone, I hope you're all having a good weekend. Here's your monthly reminder that I have a patreon, and I've just posted this month's story poll~ Just $3 a month gets you access, and I'll list this month's options at the bottom of this journal.
Also, I've dusted off my trello board to help me keep track of things, and I've made it public in case anyone's curious about what I'm currently working on. It also lists upcoming public stories, so you can get an idea of what to expect~
https://trello.com/b/J9guHULI/stories-and-novellas
Finally, a reminder for the vignette club to let know what you'd like for this month. I'm ready to get started on those whenever ^^
And finally finally, here's what's on the poll for this month (Brackets represent working titles). If you'd like to cast a vote for any of these, you can do so here~

[Squirrel Merging]
A brush with a corrupting squirrel brings out the inner squirrel of an enamored bystander. The transformations get more intense as they grow evermore compatible, leading to deeper and more intense sensations and merging.
Contains: Squirrel TF, Merging, Multiple Cocks and Balls
Also, I've dusted off my trello board to help me keep track of things, and I've made it public in case anyone's curious about what I'm currently working on. It also lists upcoming public stories, so you can get an idea of what to expect~

Finally, a reminder for the vignette club to let know what you'd like for this month. I'm ready to get started on those whenever ^^
And finally finally, here's what's on the poll for this month (Brackets represent working titles). If you'd like to cast a vote for any of these, you can do so here~

Treasured Silence
Gusty adventurer tries to find lost civilization. She does find it, turns out the ancient guardians aren't so lost. Apparently, they aren't fans of loud, proud, nosy types, so they stop any word of this discovery from getting out ;)
Contains: Magic Voodoo Expansion, Liquid Inflation
[Bar Bets]
Local space pirate keeps harassing everyone in the space bar, so some ballsy (need not be literal) person comes along and challenges them to a drinking contest/pervy set of duels that result in lots of bloating/growth/fatness.
Contains: Best two out of three drinking contest, eating contest, and object vore contest
Beached
A lizard lady learns real quick not to be an asshole at the beach. After insulting beachgoers for their bodies the bartender at the resort spikes her drink to give her a taste of her own medicine turning her from sunbathing raptor to continental blob whale girl in the Sun but unfortunately for her victims she ends up enjoying it.
Contains: Rapid Weight Gain, Whale TF, Macro and Beyond
[Werevixens and Vampires]
A crossover between the worlds of Dack the werevixen and the vampiric curse from "Things that go Hump in the Night." Dack encounters a rival treasure hunter/thief who possesses the curse and the vampire gets the upper hand on her during an expedition; too stuffed with cum to give chase, Dack has to go home empty-pawed. However, she soon discovers something interesting: the two curses are, indeed, compatible... a horny werewolf rampage is imminent.

Changing my Posting Schedule
Posted 6 years agoI've put some thought into this, and I've decided that posting something every Monday isn't going to work as well going forward. For some things, it's too fast, for others its too slow, and trying to balance between the two messes with my work flow and slows me down. So here's how I'm going to handle things from now on.
Commissions will be posted publicly as soon as they're done, or close to it. It felt kind of weird waiting to post them, especially if it happened on a Tuesday. I also don't want yall to feel obligated to wait until after I post them for you to post them.
Patreon poll stories and stuff I write on my own will be made public a month after I finish them. When I first started posting weekly, I had a month's worth of backlog too. My goal was to maintain that lead and offer early access to it as a patreon reward, I've been trending toward longer stories since then. What used to be 2k~3k words has grown to 4k~5k words, and though I've gotten faster, I haven't gotten fast enough to do them in the same amount of time. Plus, that pace doesn't leave room for any off days or mental health days.
Vignettes will be posted throughout the month. These will start going up in March, and since there's more than four, I'll be spacing them out roughly evenly rather than posting them on a specific day or all at once.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to send me a note or leave a comment

February Story Poll is Up
Posted 6 years agoI've just created this month's story poll on my Patreon~ In case anyone here is interested, some of this month's potential projects are:
A Growing Problem
A cat rushes home on the subway after he realizes he forgot his hyper suppression meds when he got to work. He struggles to contain it, swelling and leaking, but poorly hiding it. He reaches his stop but before he can leave his cock grows and overfills the tunnel as he floods the subway line in relief.
Contains: Hyper Cock, Hyper Growth, Light Macro, Excessive Fluids
Exotic Encounters and Heavenly Bodies
A SPACE EXPLORER crash landing on a primitive planet and being found by some kinda alien tribe. The tribe takes them in and gets them fat, because they want to appease the SPACE GOD
Contains: Feeding, Force Feeding, Weight Gain, Belly Worship
Early Spring
Easterbunny laquine who's balls keep swelling up with eggs, so she has to lay them in someone
Contains: Hyper Balls, Oviposition, Inflation
Corpulent Espionage
Covert operative breaks into a facility of some sort, in an attempt to steal a top-secret formula. Turns out the security system in place is excellent at utilizing said formula in immobilization of intruders.
Contains: Skin-tight suits, Rapid Weight Gain, Immobility
The Hungering Depths
A fox sorceress breaks into a dungeon with her party, seeking a magical relic rumored to be a source of incredible beauty and power. Upon obtaining the relic, however, she is cursed with an uncontrollable hunger. After devouring the party's entire food supply, then their bags and equipment, she's still so hungry she has to devour the rest of the party themselves! The magic of the relic causes all the weight gained from her massive meal to be added to her feminine assets, causing her breasts and rump to become so large she has to support herself using magic.
Contains: Rapid digestion & absorption, Object Vore, Oral Vore, weight gain specifically to the T&A
If any of these sound good, you can cast your vote for just $3 a month, or read them as soon as they're finished for $2

February Patreon Planning
Posted 6 years agoHappy weekend everyone, I hope you're having a good one so far. We're a little under a week out from a new month, and I'd like to start planning out what'll happen then. It's a bit early, but I want to give to give everyone enough time to get their ideas in~
If you have ideas you'd like to add to the story poll, now is the time to get those in, since I can't add to the poll once it's made. If you'd like to hop in on my $5 tier and get your idea in, you've still got a few days before you'll have to wait March. For all interested, here's where you can post your option
https://www.patreon.com/posts/febru.....-poll-24201418
This is also the first month for the vignette club~ I'm just running 5 slots for now (which have been filled), but I may add more going forward, depending on how it goes. This isn't on as tight a schedule as the poll, but I want to let everyone involved with this know that I'm ready to start working them out

Patreon Reward Tier Rework
Posted 7 years agoGood evening everyone, I hope you're doing well. A few weeks ago I was thinking about how I could improve my patreon, and I decided the poll needed a little reworking. I'd like to invite more folks to add their suggestions as voting options, but the more I though about it, the more I realized I was probably asking too much for it.
So today I created a new $5 tier and modified the old $10 one. I've already made the change on my patreon page, but in the interest of saving folks a click, here's a summary of what they look like now:
$2 - Early story access and commission discount (unchanged)
$3 - Same as above, plus access to monthly poll and a slightly bigger commission discount (unchanged)
$5 - Same as above, plus submit 1 one poll option a month, and an even better commission discount
$10 - Same as above, plus a monthly 1k vignette personalized just for you, and the biggest commission discount I offer
The info on my patreon page is a little more detailed, which you can find here https://www.patreon.com/WaiteInkworks

January Story Poll is Live
Posted 7 years agoNew year new month, and that means another round of stories up for selection~ This vote is for my $3 supporters, but here's what January has in store~
Celestial Influence
For a skilled apothecary like Azura, the new year is the perfect time to create a resolution potion. To do so, she opens herself up to the celestial energy surrounding the day and condenses it into a drinkable form. Unfortunately this in not without side effect. The celestial energy is fickle, and in her inexperience left her conduit open. The residual energy seeps into her form, changing her into a now that lactates the mixture she sought to create. Instead of lamenting her mistake, she capitalizes on it and expands her business. She turns herself into one of her own experiments, and with the help of her slime assistant, makes enough of the stuff to last all year.
Contains: Transformation, Breast Growth, Multi Breast, Lactation, Milking, Slime Tentacles, Light Bondage
No Shortcuts
Every so often, Endra gets a persistent customer in her shop looking for shortcuts to their new year’s resolution. In this case, its a chubby wolf looking for help on losing weight. Unwilling to trust a first time customer with the real deal, she hooks him up with an enchanted girdle that will both conceal some of his weight and prevent him from gaining anymore, up to a certain point. The wolf accepts with delight and pays no attention to her explaination, then rushes off to the buffet to celebrate his work around. The garment messes with his appetite as a side effect, which leads him into eating enough to break its limit and burst free on day one. The broken spell only adds more to his weight, destroying the rest of his clothing as well.
Contains: Rapid and Magic Weight Gain, Destruction of Clothing and Furniture, Public Gluttony, Mild humiliation
Super Wolf Blood Moon
Since acquiring her werewolf “curse,” Dack has done a marvelous job of keeping it under wraps and understanding its nature. Though her research leads are few, she has a loose idea of the time period and civilization it comes from. A little more work points her to a monolith currently on display in a local museum, as luck would have it. Before she can get a chance to investigate it personally, however, the new year’s super wolf blood moon rises and supercharges her affliction. Her mental exercises go out the window as her beastial nature manifests, overpowering her senses with the boost. Her strength and size quadruples, and she narrowly escapes her apartment before bursting free of her patio. Compelled to fetch the monolith, she goes on a destructive tear through the city, eating and crushing anything and everything in her path.
Contains: Muscle Growth, Destruction of Clothing, Minor Macro (~25ft tall), Soft Oral Vore, Object Vore
Delayed Gratification
A coyote girl finally gets to celebrate Christmas and New Years. Late. Being forced to work over the holidays she finally finds herself with vacation time and decides to celebrate weeks after the festivities have ended, better late than never, although this proves untrue. Old candies and carbonated alcohol lead to a massive inflation session, and a biiig party balloon for one.
Contains: Belly Stuffing, Air Inflation, Destruction of Clothing, Possible Immobility
If you've got a preference for any of these, cast your vote here~

December Story Poll is Live
Posted 7 years agoIt's the start of a new month, which means its time for another story poll~ I had a little trouble filling this one out on my own, so I'm probably going to do something more later on in the month to make up for it, but I haven't figured out what that is just yet. In the meantime, here's what my Patreon supporters get to vote on this time. I write more than just the top option throughout the month, so it's highly likely you'll see more than one of these
Filling the Role
A prestigious parade is holding auditions for the Santa at the head of it all, which has attracted all manor of round and wobbling fur. Additional points are awarded for meeting size requirements without assistance, and the smaller of the hopeful actors stuff all the way to the last minute. According to the hippo that has won the honor the last five years however, it won’t do them any good. With this in mind, Victor has decided to take his training to the next level. Eating the other actors both narrows the competition and increases his odds, but will it be enough to earn the role, or will his plan backfire?
Contains: Soft Oral and Anal Vore, Weight Gain, Potential immobility
Seasonal Quests
It’s not uncommon for MMOs to run special events for the holidays, and the world’s most popular, VR enabled game is no exception. Instead of trying to stop some vile villain from stealing the show or assisting the big red man himself, this years quest involves stopping a crazed computer from corrupting the wholesome holly jolly spirit. The line of quests culminates in a massive raid against the computers core, though rumor has it there are still some critical bugs in the encounter…
Contains: Hypnosis, Transformation, Hyper Growth, Cock Vore
Winter Warmth
The cold that comes at the end of the year can be hard enough to deal with on its own, but it becomes exceptionally so when you’re cold blooded. A naga and his bovine girlfriend have found a solution that involves him spending most of the winter months in her womb. Though she enjoys the closeness, she still wishes to spend a few days face to face, which has inspired a plan. Her flab and padding keeps the worst of the weather from bothering her, so maybe the same thing would help her scaly mate
Contains: Unbirth, Endo, Feeding, Force Feeding, Weight Gain
If you'd like to see any of these get written, and read them as soon as they're done, I'd appreciate it if you considered pledging and casting your vote <3

December Story Poll Ideas
Posted 7 years agoHello everyone, I hope you're all doing well~ It's getting close to the end of November, which means it's time to start building the story poll for December. I've made the post for it on my patreon, but unfortunately, I've run into a bit of a snag. My poll driver tier is currently empty.
Now, this isn't the end of the word or my story polls. If it stays empty, I can fill in options like I've done before, but it'd be great to have some help with it. This also means there's minimal competition for your idea in the poll once it gets made. If this sounds like something you're interested in, I'd really appreciate the support
https://www.patreon.com/posts/22968838
Of course, there's no pressure. I understand that money can get tight around the holidays, and I'm not out here trying to strain budgets.

Commission and Patreon Changes (Price drops and discounts)
Posted 7 years agoGood afternoon everyone, I hope you're all doing well. In my never ending quest to make Mondays suck just a little less, I have some announcements.
I haven't had quite as much luck as I would like on the patreon and commission fronts. I appreciate everyone who's supported me and bought commissions, but I'm afraid I'm just not getting enough business right now. So to help with this. I've lowered my commission rates and offered some discounts to my patreon supporters to sweeten the deal.
Up until yesterday, my base rate for a story was $20 per 1000 words. Now it's only $15 per 1000 words. This rate applies to my short stories between 1000 and 7000 words, and I'm still offering a $10 special for snippets of 1000 words.
This is all on my commissio page, which you can find here: https://commiss.io/victorwaite
On top of this, I'm now offering commission discounts to all of my supporters. Here's a summary of what pledging to my pateron gets you now:
Level 1 ($2 a month)
+Early access to short stories
+ $1 off per 1000 words on commissions
Level 2 ($3 a month)
+Early access to short stories
+Vote on ideas for me to write
+ $2 off per 1000 words on commissions
Level 3 ($10 a month)
+Early access to short stories
+Vote on ideas for me to write
+Provide 1 idea for the story poll each month
+ $4 off per 1000 words on commissions
In pretty much every case, commissioning a 2000 word story lets you claim your entire pledge off, and you're welcome to take it farther than that. Since I don't have pay up front enabled, you'll only be able to claim these discounts after a payment has cleared, however. If you're interested in this, hop over to my page and consider pledging.

If you have any question about this or anything else, let me know and I'll be happy to help

Last chance for the big Halloween commission discount
Posted 7 years agoOctober is almost here, and that means the window for big Halloween commission discounts is almost closed.

I'll be taking commissions for this from now to the end of October at $10 off, but today is the last day to sneak into my patreon and grab the 10%-25% discount
