First of all, I'll be changing my nickname and moving to a new account (which I of course will leave a link to, when it's time), but I will keep this acc as an archive of sorts~ I've been using another nickname outside art stuff for a while now, and I'm really comfortable with it and I want my art accs to have the same cozy feeling :3

Hello everyone! Vile's here with some updates.

First of all, I wanted to say I will be switching my art to a more hobby-ish schedule, which means I'll be focusing more on personal art with just occasional YCHs or bases; I might be posting art less regularly as well.

For now, I'm more focused on finding a regular job and dealing with irl stuff, so my hiatus may take a bit longer than expected! Thank you for being patient with me in these trying times~

Hello everyone, how's it going? Up to anything fun lately?

My August has been... very chaotic so far xd Spent first half of the month bedridden because of covid (third time sure was not the charm, gosh, I haven't been that sick since childhood), now spending second half trying to get rid of the aftermath (mostly the fact I have to re-introduce most foods to my stomach, because apparently 2 week starvation mode isn't good for you huh)

Gonna go for a little walk around local pond for the first time in August tomorrow! Super excited for that, I miss outdoors xd

Aside from that covid stuff, I'm living the dream here: sleeping all I want, watching movies I was postponing before (started second season of Steven Universe recently, yay!), playing games.. Ohhh I'll be so full of energy and desire to create by the time my vacation is over >:3

Hello everyone! It's already August, so autumn is basically around the corner and tbh I can't wait to get all cozy >w<

Now, for the news! Unfortunately, my hand pain is getting almost unbearable now and I'm in a dire need of rest - so that's what we'll do: I'm finishing my current to-do list, closing my commissions until September, I don't draw personal stuff as well and I get plenty of rest in my brace, plenty of medication and some light recovery exercises - and then I go back to you all fresh and ready to draw! Sounds good? Sounds good!

I'll try to post journal updates from time to time still, maybe work on my Toyhouse and character info while I'm at it, just to keep things interesting whle I'm away from art work uwu

After thinking on and off about my nsfw art stuff I finally came to a solution that feels both comfortable and doable - making a second account for all the sexy spicy steamy art~

I know that might sound tedious to follow two accs instead of one but(t) hear me out:

Now, for a small update - after some testing I've decided that Buy Me a Cofee is the best payment option for now (it accepts usd, doesn't have outrageous withdraw fees, actually has a nice digital shop - what not to love?), so I'm deleting my Boosty for now and removing it as possible payment option. I could've left it of course, but it actually has one annoying thing there I have to post something from time to time or it will think I'm "inactive" and it will start charging me money.. Heyo everyone, this is your dummy dumb dumb foxxo

So, some of you might remember me talking about some hand joints pains, and then it took a long time to recover to achieve a "pretty healthy working hand". Not so long ago I decided I should work a bit more professional and established a working schedule, which included around 4 hours of drawing per day - and everything was so nice, my hand was okay (plenty of time to rest throughout the day), and I had a hefty backlog of art to post. Cool, right?

Well... It took 2 days of "oh come one 6 hour drawing shift won't hurt, I wanna speedrun" to undo several weeks of recovery and I'm back to the brace, all because I got too cocky >:C My fellow artists, please PLEASE take care of your hands, pain sucks and is not worth being the fastest artist in the west

Tbh it's getting better now, but my 4 drawing hours became 1-2 hours per day and I'm planning to take the rest of this week completely off to boost the recovery. I'll still be online, probably working on some text stuff and posting reminders, answering notes and DMs, etc.
So if I owe you an art, I do apologise for the delays, I'll get to it as soon as I can!

P.s. Also going to have my 4th - and last, finally! - wisdom tooth removed next week, prepare to go full "head empty no wisdom" mode >:P
