Looking for friends attending Stratosfur!
Posted a year agoAre any of my friends planning on attending Stratosfur this year?
I have family who lives nearby, so I'm planning on spending nights with them, but that said, if any of my friends are planning on attending and getting a room at the main hotel, I'd greatly appreciate having a place to use as a changing room / storage room during the day.

Probably won't be going to ACFI this year
Posted 3 years agoYeah, as the title says.
As much as I would like to go, just been a little short on money lately, so I'm thinking the responsible thing would be to pass on it this year. Maybe that'll change by the time it comes around though, we'll see.
Definitely will be going to TFF though once the time comes around again. :3

ACFI this weekend!
Posted 4 years agoYep! Looking forward to going to ACFI once more. Been too long since I've been able to attend any cons! Can't wait!
Who else can I expect to see there?

I saw something confusing today.
Posted 5 years agoSo, my local grocery store now requires masks for entry, and they had people at the entrance to check that everyone entering was masked.
And yet I still saw someone walking around inside without a mask...
My first thought was that he must be a ninja, because how else would he have been able to sneak in so easily.
But then I remembered that ninjas wear masks. So if this guy really was a ninja, then he would have been wearing a mask anyways.
So what manner of strange otherworldly creature was this who was simultaneously both a ninja and not???

If you were a Pokemon gym leader...?
Posted 5 years agoYeah, I'm kinda bored right now, so here's a fun little questionnaire for everyone. :P
If you were a gym leader...
1. What would your Type specialty be?
2. What would be something that you're known for? i.e. a job outside of the gym, a particular training style, personality, etc.
3. What would your challenge/trial be?
4. What would your team be, and which pokemon would be your ace? (Optional) How would each one fit into your strategy?
As for me
1. Dragon of course!
2. Instead of directly commanding my pokemon in battle like most trainers are seen doing, I would instead train them on how to strategize on their own, how to use type advantages, and how to recognize and counterattack when they are at a disadvantage themselves. I'd offer coaching in battle when it's needed, but ultimately my pokemon would be the ones deciding what to do. And since they wouldn't have to wait for commands, they'd be able to strike and react a lot faster.
I'd also be known for insisting on only using luxury balls, because "They just look classy as heck! Besides, my pokemon train and fight hard. They deserve to relax hard too."
3. Challengers would have their pokemon battle one-on-one with my other gym trainers' pokemon. But they would not be allowed to give commands to their pokemon during the battle, only counsel them before the battle. The challenger's pokemon must be able to win battles on their own without any direct input from their trainer.
4. Kommo-o (Ace), Flygon, Goodra, Duraludon, Dragapult, and Noivern. Most of them are capable of Fire or Fighting type moves which would make them an offensive threat to Ice type despite being at a disadvantage. And some are also capable of Poison or Steel type moves, which would allow them to effectively counter their other weakness, Fairy type as well. Duraludon in particular would be an effective counter against attempted type advantage exploiters since it lacks all of the weaknesses usually associated with Dragon type.

Had a random thought while in the shower...
Posted 5 years agoSo, I got to thinking, furries are often viewed as weird, but really, EVERYONE is weird in some way. The "normal" people are just better at hiding their weirdness. Furries on the other hand are already seen as weird, so they're more likely to have a "may as well grab that flag and wave it!" attitude.

Back from my first HEMA tournament!
Posted 6 years agoSo, I spent this last weekend at Baton Rouge Open. And I gotta say it was more awesome than I could have hoped.
Not all of the equipment I had ordered for myself had arrived yet by the time I'd headed out for the tournament, but they ended up having plenty of loaner gear there, and my instructor also had packed some extra gear that I was able to use as well. Furthermore, Purpleheart Armory had set up a shop there too, so I was able to get some awesome new gear right there on the spot, including a new jacket, a protective hood, and an awesome new feder sword!
As for the tournament itself, with it being my first time, I wasn't expecting to do very well, and I had considered not even entering the tournament, instead just casually sparring with whoever I could and taking a few of the classes they had to offer there. But OOOH I'm so glad that I ended up entering! Even though I didn't get any wins, I actually did a lot better that I thought I would have. Had a couple very close matches, and went up against several amazing opponents. But most importantly, every single bout was a very valuable learning experience, and a great time! I left the event as a better fighter, and eager for more! And I look forward to the day that I can meet each and every one of these people in combat again!

Which RPG classes would you give your characters?
Posted 6 years agoSo, I'm bored, so here's a little attempt at starting a meme.
Take as many of your characters as you like and give them an RPG class that suits them.
Vinderex: Red mage. He's adept with a rapier, and possesses some knowledge of magic too, particularly of the wind and fire elements. Has a couple of low level healing spells too.
Varlan: Warrior, Maybe even Barbarian. He's ALL about dealing insane amounts of damage to any who would dare invoke his wrath. While he does possess some medical knowledge as well, he's more likely to simply rely on adrenaline to keep him slicing and blasting his way through armies of enemies, and then only later dealing with whatever wounds he might rarely have gotten in return.
Zyr: Magic Knight. He'd wear armor and wield a sword, using magic to enhance both himself and the sword, maybe occasionally casting an offensive spell or two.
River: Monk. He'd have a refined, disciplined, and elegant fighting style using a guandao. He'd naturally dance his way around incoming attacks, deflect or sometimes even catch projectiles and magic with his weapon or his bare hands, and would take advantage of things such as pressure points to quickly subdue foes. He'd also possess some healing and water magic.
Rask: Lancer/Dragoon. He'd keep enemies at a distance with his trusty pokeystick. Also, jump attacks!
Saireth: Black Knight. He'd have the immense strength necessary to strongarm a giant buster sword, single handedly swinging it around and smashing through anything in his way with it. And he'd pair it with powerful dark magic.
Zaerilia: Wizard/Sorceress (obviously). Do I even need to explain this one? Nothing pleasures her more than dominating "inferior beings", and ravaging entire lands with otherwordly fire.

Okay then! Going to try some commissions! :D
Posted 6 years agoYep. Going to give this a little test run and see how far it goes. Pricing is going to be fairly low for now while I test the waters, but stuff might be changing later if I end up doing this a lot.
Anyways... Commissions are officially open! And here's some info!
General Stuff
-So, first of all, let me say that I'm new to this commissioning thing. As such, while I'm getting more accustomed to it, I will only be taking one or two commissions at a time, and they will not be first-come-first-served. I will be picking and choosing stuff that I'd feel most comfortable working on and believe I could get done in a reasonable amount of time without driving myself insane in the process. Current pricing also may change in the future after I've gotten more comfortable with commissions
-You should also be aware that I'm NOT a fast worker. Even if you commission something simple, you can expect me to spend several days on it.
-I'm sometimes able to work on drawings during downtime at my job, but any suggestive, vore related, or NSFW stuff won't be worked on during such times, and so you can expect them to take longer to finish, as I'll have less time to devote to them. Even if it's technically SFW, if it's the sort of thing that might be seen as weird, then I probably won't be working on it while I'm at work.
(The following list is not comprehensive, it's just the stuff that immediately comes to mind, so if you have an idea that's not on the list, feel free to ask me about it)
Stuff I enjoy drawing:
-Oral vore
-Bellies
-Maws
-Medieval/Fantasy themes
-Action poses
-Dragons!!!
Stuff I'm okay with:
-Clean full tour (Something I really like the idea of, but just never have drawn before)
-Tail maws and tail vore
-Muscleguts
Stuff I -might- be willing to try:
-Unbirth
-Anal Vore
-Inflation
-Realistically proportioned genitalia
Stuff I won't draw:
-Cock vore
-Breast/cleavage vore
-Disposal
-Sex
-Scat
-Watersports
-Oversized genitalia or breasts
-Excessively muscular, hyper, etc.
-Excessively fat/blobby, etc.
Pricing
For a full body picture:
-$20 base price for a lined sketch with flat colors.
-Additional $15-20 for additional characters. In most cases it will be only $15. Higher price will generally be for things such as complex interactions and/or poses between the two characters (dueling, etc.) Price may be reduced if the second character is only partially shown (i.e. only showing the head in an internal view of a vore picture, or only showing legs and tail hanging from maw, etc.)
-Additional $5-10 for complex characters. Extremely complex characters may cost more, but more than likely I won't be willing to even accept the commission in such cases.
-Simple backgrounds (solid color, cloud/noise/watercolor nebula, or plain field and sky with no additional objects, etc.) are included for free. Complex backgrounds will have additonal cost depending on complexity.
For Telegram Stickers:
-$5 each base price for Headshot stickers, or $20 for a set of 6.
-Additional $10 each to upgrade a sticker to Waist-up.
-Additional characters (with the exception of generic "You"s) will be priced as additional stickers. Price may however be reduced, on a case-by-case basis, if the additional character is only partially shown.
-Generic "You" characters may be added for free.
Payments and Refunds
-I can accept payment through Paypal, or in Lindens (through Second Life). If Lindens are used for payment, then the price will be based on the SELLING price of the Lindens (i.e. how much L$ will be needed to convert back to the price in USD of the commission once all exchange fees are accounted for, not how much L$ you could buy for the given amount.)
-Payment is due at the time of commissioning.
-If for any reason I determine that I am unable to complete your commission, I will always give a 100% refund, regardless of any work I've already done.
-If YOU need to cancel the commission, refund will be a percentage of the price of the base flat colored picture (including price of additional characters or complex characters), based on how much work has been completed.
---Not started, or basic shapes "balls and sticks" sketch: 100% refund
---About half done with sketching: 70% refund
---Sketch finished: 40% refund
---More than halfway done with lining: 30% refund
---Coloring started: No refund except for extras that have not yet been worked on (shading, complex backgrounds, etc.)
---Shading, complex backgrounds, or any other enhancements that would be done after the base is already complete, are not included in these percentages, and instead will always be fully refunded if they have not yet been worked on.

So... If I were to open up commissions...
Posted 6 years agoWho would possibly be interested?
Also, I'm still working out details, but basically I'm thinking the base price for a flat colored full body picture would be $20, with things like complex characters, extra characters, shading, detailed backgrounds etc, being extra. Headshot style telegram stickers would be $5 each, but full body, or waist up would be the price of a regular pic since about the same amount of work goes into them. So would that sound fair? Too little? Too much? Honestly I'd like to charge more, but since I'm pretty much completely new to this, I don't want to overstep.

Needing some art ideas!
Posted 6 years agoYeah, it seems like I only just got back into drawing, but I'm already running out of ideas to draw! Dx
So give me some suggestions. Just keep in mind that I'll likely be working on them during downtime at my job, so nothing NSFW and preferably nothing with vore (yes, tragic I know).
I AM still going to be drawing vore too, but that's going to be exclusively during time at home, and I've still got a few things in mind there anyways. So right now I'm specifically needing more ideas that won't raise eyebrows if my coworkers or customers see them.

Thinking about possibly opening up some YCHs in the future
Posted 6 years agoSo now that I'm finally getting back into drawing, I'm wondering if anyone might possibly be interested in YCHs or maybe even commissions, etc? And if so, then what do you all think would be decent prices? Never really sold art before, so I'm not entirely sure where to begin, but I'm thinking maybe a YCH would be auctioned starting at about $20.
Extra bed space available for ACFI
Posted 7 years agoSo yeah, it's a definite thing now. My usual roommate isn't going to be able to make it to Alamo City Furry Invasion, and so I've now got an extra bed available in my room,. I'll be arriving Thursday evening, and leaving Monday, so those will be the days that the extra bed is available.
If you missed them from my last journal, here's the rules for the room again.
1. You're expected to pay for your fair share of the room. About $60 for each night if it's just the two of us (which I'd prefer), or $40 in the off chance that we have a third person in the room. If you can pay upfront, please do so. I can take Paypal if you can't pay cash for some reason.
2. Alcohol will be present, but will only be drank responsibly. No getting shit-faced drunk.
3. No smoking, but vaping is okay. I know the hotel policy probably disallows smoking already, but best to cover that base anyway.
4. The room will be a place to rest and recharge, not a place for partying. So noise should be kept at a reasonable level, and there should not be excessive visitors. Bringing over a friend or two to hang out and chill is fine of course, so long as they behave themselves, but please don't go beyond that.
5. I am a suiter, so I'll be needing some extra storage space for the suits, and I may also need help with small things such as brushing when I suit up.
6. All the common-sense stuff. Keep yourself clean, shower regularly, don't trash the room, don't touch what isn't yours without permission, don't be a dick, etc.
And one more thing. This won't necessarily be a "first person gets dibs" thing. I'd prefer to have somebody who I know, or at least am somewhat acquainted with, so they will get priority over strangers. That said though, once I've said yes, then it'll be a definite yes, so you won't need to worry about me suddenly changing my mind if someone else comes along. And I'll try to decide soon enough that there's still time to make other plans, let's say this Saturday at the very latest, but possibly earlier too.
So yeah. Let me know if you might be interested.

Might possibly have extra room space available for ACFI
Posted 7 years agoIt's not a for sure thing yet, but it's looking like there's a high chance that my usual roommate won't be able to make it to Alamo City Furry Invasion this year. So if that ends up being the case, then I'll have an extra bed available, if anyone's interested.
Keep in mind though that this is not a guaranteed thing right now, so you should look for backup arrangements too. I will post updates once I know for certain.

I've been thinking...
Posted 7 years agoWhat might have it been like way back in that prehistoric time when the world's first mammals were only just beginning to evolve?
"Dude, like, have you seen those weird growths on Agatha's belly? The heck are those anyways? Some sort of cyst or something? And they squirt out some sort of weird white goop too. Gross... You know what's even worse though? She feeds that stuff to her kids! Disgusting!"

An update on the big news from before...
Posted 7 years agoWell, seems that there's already some complications. In particular, there's that one tiny detail of what today's date happens to be. No, not talking about Easter. Yep. Apparently today is also commonly referred to as APRIL FOOLS!!! XD
Big news!
Posted 7 years agoHey everyone! Got some news I thought everyone would like to know.
So...
bowserfierix has been my best friend for a long while, and well, we've both come to realize that we're more than just friends now. So as of today, it's official, we're together! Been a long time coming if you ask me! :D
So...

TFF 2018
Posted 7 years agoHotel:
The main hotel! :D
Arrival/Departure:
Arriving Thursday and staying until Monday
Sharing a room with:
bowserfierix
Can I visit your room?
Maybe, if you're someone cool. :3
Who do you hang out with:
Likely will be hanging around
bowserfierix. Also looking forward to seeing
ty_desoto,
misora and
kobaltsilverstar
Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
Not entirely sure. Likely checking out the vendors or a few panels
What/where will you be eating?
Not entirely sure, but I do always enjoy good food. Might give the hotel restaurant a try, and I want to go to this place called Kenny's at some point
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
Sure! Good company makes good food even better!
Gender:
Male
How old are you:
28
Can I take your picture?
Sure. :P
Can I give you stuff?
So long as you don't have some sort of ulterior motive for it, and of course it's legal. :P
Are you an Artist:
Somewhat, though it's been a while since I've drawn anything. I've been more of a craftsman than an artist lately
Do you do free art?
Probably not. lol
Do you do trades?
Again probably not. lol
Do you take commissions?
Maaaybe, though I'm a really bad about losing motivation midway through stuff, so I wouldn't be comfortable accepting payment until after it's done if I were to take a commission
Are you a Fursuiter:
Sure am!
How many Fursuits are you going to bring/wear:
2 this year. I'll have my ol' scaleysuit, and I'll also be debuting my avali sona Varlan Goldenquill here. :D
Attending parties:
Possibly. I'm not much of a party animal, but if it's with friends, and not overly big, I might
Do you dance?
Not really, but I might try. XD
Do you drink:
Responsibly, yes, and I plan on bringing some of my own homebrewed mead to share with friends.
Can I buy you a drink:
Maybe. But know that I do NOT enjoy getting drunk, so don't be surprised if I refuse something that's too strong, or refuse to have more than one.
How can I find you?
If I'm in human form, look for a tall guy with long brown hair in a ponytail, and most likely wearing something related to either dragons or larp. Otherwise look for a shiny gold dragon in medieval/renaissance-like garb, or a yellow avali in red and brown wrap-clothes with a matter manipulator and a Protectorate broadsword. If I have time to make it before the con, Varlan might also be wearing a Protectorate uniform instead of the wraps, but most likely will have just the wraps for now.
Are you nice?
Sure, but I CAN be shy at times. I'm trying to work on that a little. ^.^;
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
"Hey Vindy!" , "Ooh shiny!" and "Holy crap is that actual metal?" tend to work well when I'm suiting as Vindy. XD As for Varlan, well, this will be my first time with him, so how about simply "Hey Varlan", or maybe "Is that a Matter Manipulator I see?" or "Oh look it's an avali!"
Are you attending any panels:
Most likely yes. :3 Will have to see what sort of panels there are. Definitely will be attending the dragon panel though
How do I identify myself to you:
Offer me tribute in the form of shinies or food! XD But yeah, in all seriousness, just say hi, and introduce yourself, and make sure your badges are visible, because they're usually the first thing I look at when someone unfamiliar approaches me.
Personality Type:
Uhhhh... INFP if I remember right? Been a while since I took that personality test XD
How do I know if you're not looking to socialize (angry, busy or upset):
If I'm out and about, then chances are I'm perfectly fine with socializing just so long as you're not creepy about it. If I need a break, then I'll go back to my room
Anything to add:
Yay! New fursuit! I'm so exciited!

Wanna play Starbound?
Posted 7 years agoYep! I've got a Starbound server, so if you want to join, give me a poke. Space on it is limited for now, but if there's enough interest I might upgrade it in the future.
Here's all the mods I use: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zzhdcrla.....wNnBd95wa?dl=0
Also, even if you've already got the Starbound Simple Vore Mod, please download and use the one I've got here instead, as I've made a few tweaks to it, and so there might be issues if you use one of the regular versions. I'd also recommend using the version of Frackin Universe I have posted here instead of the one on the forums or from Steam Workshop, as the mod gets updated way too often for me to possibly keep up with the latest version on the server, so ensuring that we're all using the same version will help to minimize bugs and incompatibility.
So yeah, if you're interested in joining, send me a note or boop me on one of my messengers for the server info.

Thinking about getting a Starbound server set up
Posted 8 years agoYeah, been thinking about getting back into Starbound, but it's always more fun with multiplayer.
It would of course have the Vore Mod, as well as a few other necessities like Frackin' Universe, and Avali, as well as my own Classical Weaponry mod.
Would anyone else be interested in joining if I were to get a server?

Alamo City Furry Invasion!
Posted 8 years agoYep. At the end of this week, I'll be heading to San Antonio for a kickass weekend at ACFU! Will be my first time at this particular con, so hopefully it's just as awesome as the other cons I've been to.
Now who else can I expect to see there? :D

I was bored, so I made another quiz just for fun. :P

And here's the old one I'd made around a year or two ago, for those of you who didn't see it already. lol

Looking to possibly commission someone. :3
Posted 8 years agoRawr! So, I'm looking for someone to do a couple of vore-themed conbadges for me. :3 They'd involve good ol' Vindy of course, and then also my avali character Varlan. Anyways though... my idea was to have one badge of Vindy with Varlan in his belly, and then one of Varlan with Vindy in his belly. :P So yeah. Anyone happen to be taking commissions, and up for doing something like this?
TMI Tuesday?
Posted 8 years agoI'm bored, so why the heck not? XD Ask me anything!
