I was planning on flying from Los Angeles to Hamburg (via Frankfurt) for Eurofurence 2026. Was just wondering if anyone is also flying from LA area and wanted to coordinate a little “furry flight” together. The plane will be a Lufthansa Airbus A340-300 to FRA and then an A319 to HAM.

Anyone else dealing with artists going radio silent after purchasing a YCH??? I'm starting to go crazy. FOUR different artists have taken my money and are either not responding at all, or are being very vague as if trying to conceal the fact that they stole my money.

1. One from February, the artist is being super vague and it takes multiple notes for them to reply. Their journal said they had some health issue which I understand, but they said they already emailed the artpiece to me?? But I never recieved anything, so I asked when was the email sent so I could find it, note read but no response. $100 gone.

2. Another one from April, Russian artist. Paid $50 over Hipolink, contacted over Telegram. Radio silent, no response.

3. Another one took a slot in June. Russian artist. Promised 2 week completion return, not responding to notes. Will try other means of contact. If no response still, I'll assume scam. $50 down the drain.

4. Yet ANOTHER one, Russian artist and $60 on Hipolink. Took a slot in June, still nothing. At least they responded to a note saying they will complete it tomorrow. That was last month.

I'm starting to go from giving them benefit of the doubt to believing I got scammed. If these artists do not respond in a few more days, I'll assume I got scammed and will try to get my money back, and reveal who they are in a do not commission post.

I haven’t decided which one, but I want to attend a con that’s both soon and close. That’s pretty much BLFC. What tips for a 1st time goer, that are normally overlooked? I’ve made a checklist so far:
1. Southwest Airlines is the only carrier between San Diego and Reno. They have multiple B737-700s per day, though I’m hoping to catch a flight on a 737-800. What time is best to arrive for the con? Early morning? Afternoon? Evening? I always prefer evening flights. Hate waking up early.
2. I guess I need to be prepared to spend hundreds, if not thousands? I can dedicate a few thousand to spend on non-hotel and non-flight spendings. Knowing Nevada.
3. I’m guessing I just need to be aware that while most are nice people, some can turn out to be psychos/narcissists/or even worse. Just need to be able to spot red flags, rather than befriend everyone blindly.
4. Mild concern about getting overwhelmed. I think I have ASD due to getting overwhelmed easily in social situations with a lot of people. I sometimes have panic attacks when alone. I can power through it most times tho

I don’t gamble, drink, smoke, or eat edibles.
I don’t know anyone IRL to go with. But I do have many online friends going
I do NOT want to room with anyone. I room for myself is a priority

Also, tips for someone who keeps saying they’ll go, but end up not going? I’m stuck in this cycle

Been wanting to redesign my sona since early 2022. I STILL cannot make up my mind! Part of me still wants it to be a snakefox. On the other hand I want to be just fox. Another idea is hyena-fox. Just don’t know. Also colours, no clue what colours to use! More realistic? More fictional? More red? More orange? 3 colors? 4? 5? Just can’t decide and it’s so overwhelming!

I really want to go to FWA, which will be a 4 hour flight for me. I have never traveled alone, so this will be an obstacle to overcome in itself. However I live with my parents and they will ask a ton of questions like where I’m going. I don’t want to lie. But I’m very embarrassed to tell them it’s a fur con because of all the hate and negative stigma the fandom has on social media and the news. How to be? Anyone in a similar situation? How did you go about it? It’s just so embarrassing.

Have any doxxing victims ever got justice with their attacker? Some psycho leaked my address and threatened to kill me and my family. They’re pretty anonymous but I know their discord. Should I file a police report anyway and hope for the best?

I really wanted to become a good artist, but I had to give up because of my severe self doubt and negative thoughts. Am I doomed for an unsuccessful career or hobby choice or is there a workaround? Ever sine 2015, I really wanted to be a really good artist and wow everyone with my work. Typical naive young me. Years later I've come to realize that I constantly compare my work to other artists (uncontrollably) and get jealous of their talents, skills, gifts, and success. I got more frustrated than having fun. People keep saying "practice" but unfortunately that is not necessarily true. Art is not for everyone. You can practice and practice for years but not improve at all. Art requires good hand to eye coordination, natural talent/gift, dedication, and above zero self esteem. And still to this day, I beat myself up on multiple things including art. I am lost. I don't know if I should proceed with keeping attempting doing art and getting zero enjoyment out of it, or completely quitting it and eliminating the cause of the depression. Every day I go on social media and see left and right artists who are younger than me and 100 times more skilled. It hurts. It hurts a lot knowing I really wanted to become a good artist, but I will never be able to draw half as good, let alone a fraction as good. Jealousy is so toxic. I wasted years. I am not good at art. But I want to be. But also I don't want to be. I am lost. There is nothing anyone can do, yet I'm asking for help. it's like wet cement labeled "self doubt" was poured into my brain and now it became solid. All I can do is sketches. I do not have the mental capability/capacity to grasp/fathom how 2D art turns into 3D with just pencil strokes. I can watch a 20 hour tutorial and follow step by step, but fail miserably. I do not understand, I will never understand.

It fcking came back. Why. Get out of my head please. I understand I will constantly be at war with myself, but please I just want to fcking draw. They didn't like a bunch of faves popping up. I'd much rather be told what the reason is and do my best to improve/rectify the issue than to be straight up blocked without explanation and left nervous and overthinking what on earth I could've done to get blocked.

Correct way to deal with the situation:
Write a note saying "Hey I don't like when people fave a lot of my art can you please remove them all thanks"

Wrong way to deal with the situation:
Oh look this person really likes my art lets block him so he is left without an explanation

For a while now, I've been a huge fan of art and commissioned a lot. Now, I'm starting to get interest in drawing stuff myself. Obviously I'm a beginner, but I find it quite fun. I got an iPad Pro 12.9 and a Surface Book 2.

I am finally able to commission my first ever digitigrade full body suit! Now the question is, since my character Vory the Snakefox naturally has a big belly, should I request additional belly padding for my fursuit? That way, the fursuit will represent the character more accurately. (If that’s even possible with some makers).

As you know, my redesigned fursona has been made a reality thanks to  Drag759. You already know the species and gender, but I haven't really decided on less important details or a backstory for Vory. So here is some additional, less important information about my new sona!

Btw my new sona is going to be a hybrid of a snake and a fox, with a fox-ish general shape, but a long snake tail, belly, tongue, and eyes. It will have a big maw with unhingable jaws too!
