An apology and explanation ♥

This is a note that is super over due. I owe people some raffle prizes and they're not done yet, and I also realize that some people have been wanting commissions from me. It has been WAY too long... and for being AWOL, I apologize.
As a quick explanation, I /was/ pregnant before the lottery, then the baby came quite a bit early. Six weeks early, to be exact. I was in recovery for a while, then the post-partum depression hit. It's not the 'omg, I want to hurt my baby' type depression, it's just a... I hate myself, I feel worthless, nothing makes me happy type depression and it really eats away at me. My tablet is collecting dust, and I don't feel any inspiration at all. I want to claw my way out of this, though.
So please, if I owe you art, or if you're still interested in getting a commission from me... NOTE ME. Remind me what you want, and I promise I'll start getting the art that you guys want done. I just need a kick in the ass to get started and crawl out of this... Hole of sadness I crawled into.
I love you all, though. Always. ♥

HIATUS UPDATE & Animal Crossing friends/Art for villager...
Posted 5 years agoHello to all my furry friends. As you might have noticed with the latest drawing I posted, I had a situation with my pregnancy. It's a pretty serious situation, so I'll be induced and having the new little guy this upcoming Friday (29.05) With that said, I'll probably be on a hiatus from drawing for AT LEAST couple of weeks. If you spoke with me about commissions, they will be worked on a little bit later, but worked on never the less! :) Thanks for your understanding!

Since my little one will be born early, I'll be in the hospital for a while and would like to make some friends on Animal Crossing I can play with and visit your islands to help with the boredom!

Sorry I've been a bit AWOL...
Posted 5 years agoSo a lot has been happening in my life which has lead to my disappearance lately. I know some of you have been looking for me, some are wanting some commissions, others just to touch base... Seems I have some 'splainin' to do!
So, to make an otherwise long story short, I am expecting a new little one this summer! The pregnancy has otherwise been fine, except for a couple of complications (not serious) that have made me incredibly overtired. I've basically been hibernating for months. This week, though, after getting some medication to help deal with some things my body's going through, I feel much better!
So, I just wanted to touch base with everyone who happens to look through journals and let you know I AM alive, and I am alright. I'll try to get in contact with you when I'm feeling particularly energetic, as I DO want to start drawing again and putting some time into making art for you all again. C:

Commission information update!

I've finally updated and created a commission tab for my profile. It was very difficult, because I don't often see value in myself (thank you everyone who does see value in me, and the art I create! You keep me going!), so coming up with prices that are fair, in my eyes, was some how challenging.
Please feel free to take a look and comment here with your thoughts. Am I asking too much, or too little? What kind of changes, or additions can I make? I would love to hear your honest feedback!
