Howdy! n.n Hope everyone had a good 2022, but if not... it's over! Wew!

Looking back on some of the work I've done this year, I wanted to highlight a few of my favorites! (Personal stuff only n.n)

I think my absolute favorite things that I wrote this year were my Coyote stories, a venture into a weird western setting. I love some (cough) Western tropes, and I mixed them together with light fantasy and horror elements to create a melancholic and adventurous furry world to explore! And I write these even though it's hard to get people to read non-fetish stuff, it just makes me happy XD I have more ideas for this setting to play with, and have even worked some on a Pathfinder 2nd Edition adventure in it, though that needs a lot more work.

For those who read a lot of my stories, I'm curious: How would you describe Cerine as a character? Like, her personality traits and such, distinct from me as her player. Has she changed a lot since I've been writing her?

Hey there! I've figured it's been long enough and I need to actually put my stories into a sensible form of catalogue! Not ALL of them, mind you, just the mainline ones for the Northend/Wolfsmark setting as well as a few of the Patreon or commissioned sequences I've done. Just trying to figure this stuff out from my fox-nest of a gallery is getting to be a problem XD If you're a new reader and looking for where to start, this is it! Stories also range from general to adult at random, if the link doesn't work, you're in SFW mode!

The Town on the Edge of the World
The town of Northend looks calm and average on the surface, but its proximity to the Sylvan Reach exposes it to all kinds of strange wonders. A seemingly average pink fox takes up alchemy using ingredients sourced from the eerie woodlands, and day by day, her life takes on ever-stranger twists. She's less normal than she thinks, which is something her clone, her alternate universe self, and her werewolf girlfriend all tell her...

Northend/Wolfsmark Roster - A short primer discussing the world of these stories and the characters found within it.

First Breath (BE) - While venturing into the woods with her friends, Cerine stumbles on a strange wolf skull mask and feels compelled to keep it. And she is immediately assailed by unusual but compelling dreams...

Gainful Employment (WG) - Sienna receives a job offer to model for a new company, but discovers that it requires her to gain a lot of weight. Hoping to encourage her girlfriend to take the job, Rachel joins in, and the two bond even more over the mutual experience.

Lykos and the Cow-Girl (BE) - Months after finding the odd skull mask, Cerine's chest has blown up in size, but she's feeling an urge to get even bigger. Her unspoken desire is picked up by a strangely familiar entity in her dreams, who has a compelling offer...

Sneaking in Drinks (BE) - Cerine heads out to see a movie with her friend Chai, and the thirsty kitty eats waaaay too much popcorn and needs a drink.

Cerinerus - After an alchemy mishap (those aren't that common, I swear), Cerine's grown two extra heads, and her mind has been split into its ego, id, and superego. How is she going to manage to live like this until she can make a cure?

The Cat Bed (WG) - When Damien's place is being fumigated, Cerine lets him crash at her place for a while, on the condition he helps her test a new potion formula she's devised.

Dairy Stream (BE) - Deciding to host a charity stream, Cerine agrees to fill herself with expansion potion in exchange for donations. Gray, a nurse, is there to help, and Zaress is there to... well, tease her.

Big Fox Trouble - A short story detailing the troublesome nature of being a tall, buxom, and big-tailed individual in public.

Valentine's Chocolate (WG) - Rachel and Sienna surprise each other with some very filling chocolates on Valentines' Day, much to their mutual delight.

Worth noting that at some point here Erin, Cerine's alchemical clone, was born (or made, rather). I detailed how she came about in this Arvos story if you are curious, and just never saw much value in rewriting the same events in Northend XD

Synchronicity: Rienne's Origin - Rienne, a muscled golden fox, lives in a dark, corporate dystopia, struggles to find happiness in her dreary life. But thanks to the machinations of strange entities, she's whisked from everything she knows and thrown into someplace entirely different...

Adjustment Phase (WG) - Going from her old world to this new one has led to a few lifestyle changes for Rienne. For one, she's absolutely surrounded by food. While she figures out her new life, the vixen begins overeating heavily, and her hips pay the price.

Erin's Heavy Vlog (WG) - Erin, being made from chocolate, has a strange ability to gain or lose weight very quickly. When she's dared to try getting as fat as possible, she resolves to stream the effort.

Instant Attraction - At a pool party for all their friends, Erin and Gray finally have a chance to talk and drag each other to another room to have fun.

Handle With Care (BE) - When Zaress accidentally gets exposed to some alchemical ingredients, her body type is drastically changed. And it'll be a few days before Cerine can get the materials necessary for an antidote. And since she wants to keep the drake close until then, Zaress has to confront her awkwardness around Erin. And Rienne.

Rienne - A short story about Rienne finding a cute lady at the gym and discovering they have a lot in common... almost.

Small Town, Big Fox - While enjoying an autumn day, a old friend from Cerine's high school days suddenly finds her again. And much to Megan's surprise, Cerine has gotten BIG.

Feeding the Pack (BE) - Feeling very stuffed and bloated, Cerine goes to sleep and dreams that she's being led to be an "open bar" for a pack of hungry wolves at Lykos' insistence.

Custom-Crafted (MG) - If you wanted to know how Cerine's alchemy actually works, this is the story for you. Also if you want to know why Megan is a werewolf who can grow buff at all, this is also the story for you.

A Big Drop (BE and MG) - Snowed in alone together on New Years', Cerine and Megan decide to get cuddly for reasons that should be pretty obvious.

Vacation Weight (WG) - On a trip to the big city where her boyfriend works, Erin decides to indulge and get fatter, since it's what she and Gray both like. But she wants to get huge and gets help from a not-so-familiar face.

Mito's Big Night (TF, BE, and WG) - Mito breaks into Cerine's house to prove to a friend that the fox's potions are legitimate, as is her wont. And then she drinks a bunch of them, and something weird happens.

Fresh Milk on Tap (BE) - Cerine works part-time at Chai's tea shop, Leaves of Love, in order to have more time apart from her siblings and to see Chai more often. And on special nights, the lights go down and the tops come off...

A Date with Ava - A second-person story where you, working out at the gym, cross paths with a very fat but also very compelling and confident wolfess. She invites you to spend the day with her, and you just can't get enough.

Her Good Girl - Megan is having a bad day with anxiety and self-consciousness when she's invited over to join the Fox Pile for a swim and movie night. Erin notices immediately, and she's going to nudge the wolf towards her sister...

(WIP - I'll add other series and some other highlightable works I've done later! I'm hungry now XD)

I'll be at AnthrOhio this coming weekend! It's my very first fur con and I'm both excited and terrified XD I wanted to go back in 2020 but it didn't work out for some reason I can't remember right now, weird!

I won't be super visible since after the Kitten Adoption Arc this had to be a bit of a late commitment for me, so no big Cerine badge on or anything, but I'll be around with a pink fox mask. So if you spot me and want to be disappointed in person, come say hi!

I haven't actually written anything journal-like on here in, what, years? But I had an idea I wanted to discuss XD Sometime recently, I was talking with a friend about whether medieval/fantasy furries would armor their tails in battle. As a fantasy writer, I watch and read a lot about medieval fighting, both European and Japanese, so I have some idea on this. For this, I'll limit it to your typical, proportionally-lengthed fox, wolf, catfolk, etc tails. Not MY tail, which I think we can all agree is not ideal for fighting. Or sitting in cars. Or swimming. >.>

Short answer is you'd generally not need to armor your tail. First, your tail would rarely be in any danger to begin with. Second, there's not a lot of armor you COULD put on a tail to meaningfully protect it.

For the first point, a tail is simply not a target for an attacker. It's not a vital organ, the least important appendage for fighting, and most importantly: It's BEHIND your opponent! Picture a duel. The attackers face one another and maintain a few feet of separation at almost all times. In a large battle, the soldiers are in formation and battle is generally done with bows, pikes, and cavalry. Even an assassin is not going to go for the tail if they have the opportunity for a vital area. The only time a tail may be in danger -- from incidental damage -- would be in a disorganized melee, and those were much rarer than media thinks they were.

So if you DID want to armor your tail in case it receives a badly-aimed downward stroke in a melee, what can you do? You could wrap it in tough cloth, like linen. Or a lighter cloth, and then wrap it with a long piece of boiled leather, using a string to lace it tight like a shoe. These could both help deflect an attack, but they come at a cost of flexibility. You're not going to be able to bend or move your tail much at all, and if you go for leather, it's likely going to just hang down limp behind your legs and get in your way. Metal plating would make this even worse -- that would add a lot of weight to a body part that doesn't have a lot of strength. The best thing I can think of plate-wise would be something almost lobster-like with scalloped, overlapped metal plates attached to your belt or faulds, and you just belted your tail into that apparatus. But overall, skirt armor over the top of the tail, covering the upper tail while leaving the bottom (by your ankles) exposed would be pretty effective -- but you'd be wearing that to protect your THIGHS, not your tail XD

The one situation where a tail is most likely to be an actual target for an opponent would be if someone were to try to flee from a close-quarters fight. Y'know, literally turning tail. A swift attack of opportunity (where my D&D nerds at) and you've got a trophy! Because of that I can see how a medieval furry culture would begin to see severed tails as a mark of cowardice. It may even become a form of punishment for desertion. In an even more meta sense, armoring one's tail before a duel could be interpreted as hesitancy or a willingness to flee and seen as dishonorable.

But hey, this can all be thrown into the sun under the rule of cool XD If you wanna put on tail armor in art, go for it! I'm actively ignoring tail armor in sci-fi stuff even though in THAT it actually would be extremely important to have as part of a space suit/armor.

So, long story short, I had a bucket of kittens dumped in my lap XD Five of them! It's been a few days, and they're doing really well. Especially the runt, who I've named Nugget (short for Kitten Nugget). She wasn't going to make it unless I gave her some extra attention, but she's finally doing great and re-accepted by the litter, playing happily. I'm watching them for a bit longer until they can go to a local rescue. So they've been taking up a good bit of my time and brain power the last couple days. Things are settling into a routine now, so that's good.

I've got a couple things to work on this week, but I plan to open commissions on Patreon first, and then here once any of those are clear!

Hey, y'all. I just wanted to let you know that I've been under the weather for the past little while (it's not anything to worry about, just feeling blugh and being really tired). Since I've already been debating it for a bit, I'm going to take a week or so off from working. I haven't had a proper vacation in well over a year, so it's overdue x.x I'm working on my next Patreon story and I'll have that done this week, then after that I'm going to take a break. Anyone wanna do a second opinion for me and take a swing at guessing my bra size in these pictures? I've got a pretty good estimate myself but it's hard to figure without a tape measure XD And I'm curious!

EDIT: In case y'all were curious, my (probably pretty rough) estimate was a 54 bust measurement and 38 chest, giving me a whopping P-cup bust size o.o;
