so I heard that the legend himself, Ozzy Osbourne has passed away. he will always be remembered for his impact on the music industry and he's with all the great artists that we've lost already. while it is sad I am glad that he's no longer suffering from his illnesses and I'm glad that he was able to do his farewell concert for all his fans a few weeks ago. if you'll excuse me I'm going to go listen to some music.

I just realized that I've not posted a journal in almost a year. so yea, not dead. it's almost my birthday again and still feeling depressed, anxious and miserable as usual. got a couple things in the works that might work out a little better for my mental health. went to a convention recently (Furcationland) and that was fun. but now it's back to work and wishing I was anywhere but there every day of my life. anyways. happy almost birthday to me, and I'm still standing even if life wants to kick me in the gut every time I try and feel good about something.

happy birthday to me! it sure has been quite a year, started to go to furry conventions which I love doing. started making more furry friends even if they're not to close to my home it's still cool to talk with so many people, I got a fursuit and to add it all together I'm starting to get more confident in everything I'm doing. so all in all I'd say that this year hasn't been to bad, this next year will have to try harder if it wants to drag me all the way down.

so it's been a while since my last journal but I figured that I'd post in here again since there's been a lot going on for me lately. short version is, I'm seeking help for my anxiety and depression. woo. also I MIGHT have turned my parents into furries. oops.



slightly longer version here; as some may've seen I now have a fursuit thanks to the combined efforts of my family, we started it shortly before a Christmas Stroll thing that the town does every winter and we were talking about how cool it'll be for me to walk through the town for that next year. as the project came along one of my dad's friends sent him some video of a Krampus costume parade in Europe somewhere and he thought that was awesome and compared it to my suit. Cut to about a month later and I went to ANE and when I got back I showed them tons of pictures, they thought the costumes were super cool and saw I had fun and now my dad is thinking about making himself. for lack of better words, a Krampus fursuit. my mom meanwhile is still deciding on what SHE wants to dress up as, went to town with her today for groceries and as we were eating lunch she thought maybe a pink cat or a unicorn. so yea... might have a family of fursuits walking through town at next year's Holiday stroll lol! on top of that they say that the cons I've been too look fun and maybe sometime they'll go to one too!.

so it's been about a week since I got back from my very first furry convention, Furpocalypse, and all I can really say was it was a BLAST. sure, I didn't really know anyone offhand but that didn't stop me from being friendly and even chatting with some people. (which is saying something with how I often am) I went to a lot of the events that caught my eye and even learned that DJs can be fun :D I also saw a lot of really cool costumes and suits people had, also got myself some paw gloves that I wear a bunch now

needless to say with how much fun that I had I got hooked and I've already made reservations for the next one on my 'near me' list. Anthro New England here I come!

as the name of the journal suggests, in a little under three weeks I'll be going to my first ever fur con! I'll be attending furpocalypse at the end of the month in south Connecticut. maybe I'll see some names I recognize there, but either way I'm looking forward to it since this is also going to by my first ever 'personal' vacation as well.

so, I just booted up Steam for the first time in a week and I see that Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart is coming to PC? did Sony sell out to them or something? I only bring this up since I've been a fan of the franchise since the start and I know Sony and PC haven't always played nice. also Rivit is cute.

maybe that means Demon Souls and Bloodborne will be on PC before the heat death of the universe too?

well I sure do! that game is back and looks beautiful! I have so many great memories of that game and replaying the campaign still gives the chills like the first time ever. I even was able to get back into contact with someone that I used to play with back on the 360 :)
