“Serik! Hey, Serik!”
The dragon recognized his friend’s voice, hitting the button to hold the elevator before turning to smile. Kalyan hustled his way inside.
“How’re you doing today, puppydog?” The moment the husky made it through the doorway, he flopped down against the wall, tuckered out and panting. “Wh-... Are you okay?”
“Y-yea!” He leaned his face against one of his hands as he grinned up at the dragon. “I’m just running around a lot today.”
“I can see that! Why, though?”
“Warryn wanted me to tell everyone- Oh! I need to tell you, too!”
Serik’s brow lifted. “What is it?”
“Hehe… Uhm, could you come here, first?”
The dragon smirked as he stepped closer to his friend to kneel next to him. “I’m right here, puppydog.”
“And… put your hand…” Kalyan softly took one of Serik’s scaly hands and placed it between his legs. He was panting a little more, stricken with a dopey little smile. “There. Right there.”
“Naughty puppy…” His fingers began to stroke there, along the husky’s shorts. “Speak, boy.”
“Mrrrff… W-warryn has a… Awwwrrrff… a Twitter account now!”
“Oh, does h-” Serik’s eyes went wide before narrowing into a naughty, knowing gaze, his grin sharpening; he could feel a buzzing between the husky’s legs. “Do tell me more!”
“M-mawrf! Anyone who values their job and the time they spend here should go follow @WarrynPleasures on Twitter!” His panting intensified and his legs squirmed about as the vibrations strengthened.
“Good puppy, running around to share news with everyone… Is there more?”
He whimpered happily as he nodded. “W-Warryn wrote a new story! Awwrrraaawwrrff! It’s already… already been online for at least a few days, b-but not everyone’s seen it YET! AWRF!” He jerked softly as the buzzing amplified.
“Puppy gets treated so, so well for running his errands like a good boy, doesn’t he?” Kalyan’s moaning and whining was like music to the dragon.
“And, and… Rrrff… Mawwwrrrfff… There’s going to b-be mooooooore… More stories and more news… Awrf…”
“Oh, there’s going to be more? How much more are we talking, puppydog?”
“D-don’t know… You could ask him, if you wanted… Maaaawwwrrrrrraaawwrrff… Please k-keep rubbing me…”
“Good puppy, begging so sweetly… Such a horny newsboy.” The elevator reached its destination and the doors parted for the pair. “But you’ve more to do, yea? I’m sure you haven’t shared these juicy updates with EVERYONE yet, right?”
“Awwrrff… Mawrf! AwwwrrrRAWRF!”
Serik finally moved his fingers away, raising his hand to pet and rub Kalyan’s furry cheeks before standing. “Come on, then. Up you get. That’s a good boy.”
The dragon helped his friend to his feet and ascertained his composure before sending him on his way. He could hear Kalyan’s happy, eager panting all the way down the hall.
Leave it to Warryn to get us excited over such simple news...

Journal entry #4 - SORT OF copied from SoFurry
General | Posted 10 years agoI've uploaded my fourth story, Unknown Severity, to SoFurry. I'm so, so happy about this!
I will be uploading to FurAffinity, as well. I'm going to spend some time getting set with the weird story submission requirements and hurdles, and then upload my new story AND re-upload the others so they're all viewable and clean here on FurAffinity.
EDIT: I've tried to re-submit all of my stories as txt files so they'd be view-able on FurAffinity. It mostly went fine, but something's gone wrong with Kalyan's Dread. For the time being, I've placed the story into the submission description so it's still readable here.
I'll have a more interesting update sometime soon - I may even delete this journal post. I just wanted to get an update out there quickly.
There's so much to look forward to! Please stay tuned.

General | Posted 11 years agoAfter far too long of a wait, my third story is up. I kept telling myself, over the past year and few months, that I wasn't done. I knew I wanted to write more, and I'm so glad that I've finally resumed. I'm going to do anything and everything that I can to avoid having such terrible writer's block ever again.
I hope that you enjoy Misunderstandings. I hope you share it with people you trust and are comfortable sharing material of this nature with. And I hope that it leaves you curious and thoughtful, and perhaps even wanting more.
I haven't chucked any of the ideas I came up with after finishing Kalyan's Dread, so I still have more ideas that I plan to resume work on soon. I'm excited, and I hope that I can excite you, too.
Sorry I've been gone for a while. Sincerely.

General | Posted 11 years agoI didn't even know it could last this long. Writer's block, that is. I wrote two stories and then nothing. I tried for a while, and then I figured I'd stop trying and just wait for something to change.
Nothing changed.
I'm really, really proud of my stories, and I have every intention of writing more. Those times where I've really tried, where I buckled down and just let words flow through the keyboard, it hasn't been good enough. I couldn't stick with it, and I wound up starting over. To keep starting over on repeat is to accomplish nothing. I couldn't bring myself to keep what I had and work from there; I always felt there was something wrong.
It's been a year and a month or two since I wrote and uploaded Kalyan's Dread. I wrote Meeting Warryn and Kalyan's Dread in a month; each story took me about two weeks, working anywhere from zero to maybe four or five hours per day. I prepared three more stories right after finishing Kalyan's Dread, and one of those three is even fully brainstormed and plotted out with all of the important moments and interactions predetermined. It's ready to be written; it's been ready for a year.
And that's where I stand. If you've been waiting, and at any point became disappointed, I am sorry for that. I absolutely want to continue; I have so many stories to tell. I need to figure out what it is that I'm apparently waiting for.
Thank you for reading.

General | Posted 12 years agoMy first update written in rhyme; I hope it will be worth your time
Gators aren't known for writing poetry,
but the idea of rhyming has smitten me.
Allow me to update you on present happenstance;
My writing, my life, and as of yesterday, my dance.
Beginning with writing, it's been quite a while.
I'm honestly disappointed in how I've handled this trial.
All of these story ideas swimming in my head,
yes nothing's hit the paper; my creativity would seem dead.
Please don't worry though, for it will be fine;
I'm looking to see about getting myself back in line.
I'll do what I can because I feel that I must,
for little has excited me more than fueling readers with lust.
I've written two stories, and there will be more to come.
Ideas are spilling out my ears, and I'll certainly realize more than some.
Please be patient, my few dear watchers, and continue to wait,
and soon you'll have something new with which to masturbate ;)
That's enough about my writing; here's something about my life.
I'm looking into a move, and these situations bring strife.
I'm taking it slow, and I'm not looking to hurry,
but soon I may sign the papers, and begin the chaotic flurry.
I'd love to get some stories out-
at least one or two
before things get too crazy.
I want to do this both for myself and for you!
And for the final update, I only want to say
that Crypt of the Necrodancer's alpha hit the other day.
I'm a fan of gaming, though my tastes can be quite different,
but please do look into this game, for even in alpha, it's magnificent!
As Cadence, a gravedigger who finds herself undead,
you must fight for your own heart, its sound pulsing and beating in your head.
The music is fantastic, and the gameplay doesn't perturb!
It calls itself a rhythm-roguelike, and it's absolutely superb!
I suppose that I am finished for now.
This entry has been fun!
I hope you have enjoyed
my journal entry number one.
