Foot Update
Posted a month agoFirst of all. Thank you all for the well wishes yesterday. I appreciate it a lot
Today, my foot is feeling much better and my doctor has recommended a few days rest unless it gets worse.
Shortly what happened yesterday was me being a clutz and landed wrong during a OCR obstacle course along my usual running line.
Luckily, the foot did not swell up too badly and while I am still halting a bit when I'm walking, it's feeling three times better today than yesterday evening.
And how am I going to celebrate this? Upload will be uploaded during the usual time today (just 24 hours later than normal).
I'll make sure it'll be a juicy picture uploaded :3

Outside of that, my thoughts goes out to you artists out there that survives on YCHs and commissions on FA.
As someone who's commissioned a few, I feel like a shoutout to some of my favorite artists is the least I can do.

Hello everyone! Hope the start of 2025 has been good for you all!
First of all, I would like to apologize to apologize about my lateness in getting this raffle started.
I said in the previous journal that I would start it on New Year's Day, but since the ball drop I have had trouble recovering mentally after all social events during December.
But at last, here it is! You guys managed to finish one of the two goals I set out before the end of December so we will have a winner from the raffle.
From today, you will have 7 days until Saturday, 9 P.M EST, to enter this raffle.
The winner will be getting a fullcolored artwork made by kukan97 who I'm thankful is willing to do art for the winner again.
The prize will be either a single-character full-colored piece, or a shared piece with one of my own characters.
To participate, you need to be a watcher of my gallery.
No empty accounts is allowed (As in, no pfp, no uploaded gallery, no profile desc etc).
When entering, write me a comment but you must include the word "Banana" somewhere in it.
I will reply to you with a number which will be yours for the raffle.
I will present the winner in another journal on Saturday the 11th of January 2025.

December Goal - Success = Raffle!

Hello everyone. I hope you all have a great day!
We're all getting closer to Christmas, and today is the official countdown to Christmas, as the first of Advent is here.
Therefore, I want to try something new
I want to set up a goal
There's two goals I have in mind before the end of the year:
If either goal is achieved, I will open a raffle.
If both goals are achieved, there will be two winners.
The goals I have before the end of the year are the following:
1. Reaching 30k faves on the pictures in my gallery
2. Reaching 1700 watchers by the end of the year.
If either of the goals are achieved, I will set up a raffle on New Year's Day that will last for 7 days.

I want to express my gratitude to the FA staff for dealing with the situation at hand. I know it can't have been easy but we all appreciate them anyway.

Mass Upload Coming - Return of Wednesday Uploads

You might recall that during 2022-2023, I usually uploaded a picture on both Sundays and Wednesdays. During 2024, Wednesday uploads had to be cut short for several personal reasons.
But everything is going back to normal today because tonight am I bringing back Wednesday uploads and it's gonna start with a gang of pictures being uploaded tonight.
These are 10 pictures that I've commissioned between 2021-2024 but never really found the right opportunity to upload them. Either because they're holiday-related or I've been in a mood to upload something else instead. That is to say, I still appreciated all the pictures I'm going to share with you tonight.
My hope is to continue with the Wednesday uploads from now on. It'll be a bit of a wild card upload day for me. While Sunday is still gonna be my main upload date, Wednesday can be anything I'm feeling for to be uploaded.

Banana Horse's 5th Birthday! (One day late!)

Guess what? It's been officially over 5 years ago when I posted my first picture of Dolero, everyone's favorite banana horse.
I want to thank all of you who've started to follow my content over the last year and even beyond that as well.
Just like in previous years, I want to give a shoutout to some amazing people that I think you all shall follow and support.

Since about a month back, I decided to use Trello to keep an eye on the commissioned pieces I've been paying for and to keep an eye on what pictures I've uploaded here on FA and what I still have not.
Since about 2 years back, I've been keeping an upload schedule of one, possibly two, uploads every week. Most commonly on Sunday/Wednesday unless something comes in between if I'm just forgetful to upload for the day.
That is to say, over the years, there have been several pictures that I've commissioned but for some reason have not uploaded yet here on FA. Reasons vary with everything from the picture being holiday specific, to me not being pleased with the result of the picture, or while the picture is great, it's a bit too generic and too simple to stand out (headshots most notably).
So I'm currently looking to hear from you on how you prefer me to handle these kinds of pictures? Would you like me to upload several of these during one single day or would you like me to spread these out during a dedicated week for these? Or should I remain doing what I do now with the 1-2 uploads every week?
I've also grabbed myself a few more adopts which also brings the question: Should I upload these as well during the same day and should I release them one by one?
Looking forward to reading your advice.

The normal upload schedule (Wed/Sun) will however resume as soon as I'm back from vacation :)

Birthday Week Raffle - Uploads Daily!

So I just realized just a few moments ago that I forgot to do today's upload. I know that some of you will say it's no big deal, but for me, it is as I'm a man of routine.
Whenever I forget these things, I feel disappointed in myself about forgetting and it leaves me anxious.
Today was supposed to be the start of a whole week of daily uploads. Why? Because it's a tradition for me here on FA as my birthday is this week as I'm turning 32 years old.
Because of my own mistake, I want to make it up to you all. Instead of just one picture, I will upload two pictures daily this week from tomorrow.
One of the pictures will be either a sticker or a headshot upload and the other will be the standard upload, depending on what I feel like uploading.
Now to the thing that probably made you click this journal.
I'm in a mood to be generous on my birthday and therefore, I want to arrange a raffle for you all.
The winner of the raffle will be sharing a 2 character piece from Dream_Merchant with one of my characters.
