What another Journal in the same day?

Well, there's a reason for that. I am writing the next stories, but I always do this in pairs.
(I need something to do while I wait to finish my new tech set up.)
While the next story in the roster involves Sisterhood Justice, "A Walk in Madness" has already finished up (I'll be it roughly and only the short stories, ^^ The comic will return in due time.)
So ultimately I need something new to make a story about. Fortunately I have a roster of characters I can still pick from. But who do I choose?

That's where you come in!

I'm going to hold out a few characters I could make stories/series on, and I'd like you to choose who you'd like to see more of.
So, who shall it be?

- Marshal and Devon (would feel like a bunch of one-offs that make a series, but ultimately just a wholesome couple getting through life and it's wild turns.)

- Demona, the Transmuter Witch (A series that's Likely going to be a bunch of one-off stories; probably themed around comedy and transformations)



- Tale of Nemin (This would just be a single story, but the tale plays in my head several times, a tale I never finished. It is the story from an old OC group. In a fantasy world of angels, demons, man, and monsters; Nemin is a half-demon, half-angel Nephilim. Creatures like him are incredably powerful, but age so fast that their lifespan is only 1 year. Nemin's goal is to make the most of his life before he dies, something he could be remembered for.)



- Worlds of Lore (This one I just thought of, and it'd be more of a fictional documentary about different worlds and how they exist. Think of it like looking in the notes of Artison Reverts after he's explored another dimension)

So... Let me explain here.

I've had some issues in the past few weeks of the new year. Phone died and I am getting use to the new one. which is why I went silent for a while.

Next to happen was I got a new computer for Christmas and finally got it set up. Bigger and far better than my laptop... ... ... but I still need to use this old thing.
For as much as I am loving this new computer, it can't connect to the internet nor other devices that well. I will need to find both money and a day off to buy a wi-fi extender to get this thing properly connected. Not to mention I ALSO have to adapt to the new setup that this computer is... and I got a new desk on the way I'll need to throw this computer on in a few weeks.

So, if you're wondering why January is gonna be more on the quiet side... sorry, but this is just how life is throwing curveballs at me. It's gonna take some time to adjust get the set up ready, and adjust the set up FOR my writing and drawing again. It may take longer since I work full time at my job, but I am hoping to have everything settled and running smoothly by next month.

Maybe sooner, fingers crossed everyone.

At the beginning of the week, I posted a comic in two different styles and asked which one you folks liked best.
While I didn't get as many comments as I had hoped, the favorites ratio made it more clear to me.
I'll be dividing my time a bit, but working to make some more digital art. this will mean some things like comics will take longer to finish, but they will look nicer and hopefully more enjoyable.
Traditional drawings will not go away, I plan to use those for some of my usual works like my stories, but now I got myself some new things to holster.

Yeah... I lost my job... AGAIN
I guess my streak of getting a job just to lose it later on is still going strong. *Sighs*

I'll work on writing and drawings still, I don't wanna lose my touch, but I will have to keep job searching at the for front, so I am putting the stories and comic on hold until then.

Seems I post these quiet a bit, but they do hold a lot of truth rather than am some kind of excuse.
My life is changing in ways again, and I need to adjust and get myself in check. I need to clean my act up, and work on trying to get my writing career off the ground rather than just posting stuff as a fun hobby on websites. I gotta prepare to live on my own, because I can't just keep being a tenant at relatives forever. I need to look after my health, because I haven't been able to bring my weight down at all. I've gotta start acting, but My concerns fall on the stories I tell here.
These may slow down or even come to a halt, I'm sorry, I'll try to post 1 or two things a week, maybe something more. I still use my breaks at work to sketch, but that's still not enough to keep my normal pace.
I hope you all understand, and keep watching. I enjoy the times I have with you all.

It's summer, and one of my friends has a struggling family, they are living in a tent on the yard of one of their relatives, they need help and any amount will help.

I hate doing delays because I love storytelling and drawing pictures.
However, I'll not be able to do that for long if I can't pay for food or rent.
To boot, I'll have to get some new insurances SOON.

If that's gonna work, I need a job that pays better than $10 an hour with no benefits.
So, until I can get a job that can sustain my life, I am putting all stories on hold. At most, I may just be posting a drawing or so once and a while.
It may be a while, months even, but it is what I have to do.

For those who've been reading my comic "Life Stinks"
I'm thinking a bit ahead in the comic and would like to work on Giving Shelly an official look beyond either torn clothing or bland clothes.
That's where I'm turning to you all. ^^
Describe what clothes would look good on her, what do you think would fit her appearance and personality?
Rules, First and foremost:
1. Keep it clean.
2. It your suggestions need to cover a minimum of 3 areas.
- Hair
- Shirt
- leggings, (pants, skirt, ect.)
You could add other accessories in addition, like socks or gloves.
3. read other comments to make sure your idea isn't already taken. If someone already has yours either reply saying you agree with it, or like the comment.

Hopefully I hear plenty of ideas, because I wanna add of bit of your advice and influence into the story.

After going a whole year, and not getting covid, first month of 2022.
Nothing severe as happened, so I'm still typing and drawing, but it puts SO MANY THINGS I have to do on hold.
Hopefully, I can get back out there in a week or two, find a job, and everything.
Till then, I'll just be here.

I'm going to post the next page of "Life Stinks" Early this week because... You read the title. I gotta take the rest of this month off.

outside work being a pain in the butt and not being able to get the days or hours I really need I got some other big things going on at home.

Our dog just got spaded, so we gotta make sure the stitches don't become undone for two weeks. She's still just a puppy, so we have to make sure she's not super active and causes it by accident.

Then there's my sister. She is getting married this month, in Texas. So, I gotta pack and get ready for that, because it's in Two weeks. I'm gonna have to juggle work and the pup while trying to pack my suit and clothes for the occasion.

It may not sound like a lot, but I usually find myself having to focus on a few things or everything hits the floor and shatters.

I hope you all understand, I'll be back as soon as I can with story bits. Until then. I got the comic up, RP, should still be possible for me.

I've had quite a few unsuspected hits. Nothing serious, but I really need to step up my game. In fact after this I have to write about something for creative non-fiction class that I can't write about, since I've never done this kind of event.

In other news, Art trades for Adept's party is over. I'll up date what other items did what in a moment, And I hope that on Halloween I can post my final art for the event. For all who took part, thank you, I had a lot of fun.

Last but not least, this may be the first week of November, technically, but I'm not gonna start doing story bits for Uncontrollable and Field of Fire again since there's some October days in there still. They'll be back next week; for now, I'll be using that time for miscellaneous art and something for Veterans day, as I try to do each year.

"Ashes" has been canceled.
I know it's not a huge loss, sorry to all I scared, but I was looking forward to making an apocalypse story series. The only issue is that I don't know how to continue beyond the first.
It's it's place though, I have an idea.
The monsters I was setting for adoption weren't taken (Except for one) so I thought I'd set them in a story series with Adept, Rewriter of reality. And to boot I'll be having it come out with a story featuring Watch.
Now those two will be coming out after "Field of Fire" and "Uncontrollable"
To those who wanted "Ashes" I'm sorry.

This is just me making an opinion on something I know little about from an area I know even less about, Anime.

I've seen some anime, and some grab me and others don't, but in the ones that grab my interest is, surprisingly, the Harem Animes. NOT for the Harem plot of the show, but rather the other plot put in with it. "Rosario and Vampire" the first Anime I ever saw, and the inspiration for "A Walk in Madness" was a Harem story. Like my creation, the main character ends up in a monster school and needs to hide in it till graduation and while keeping 4 monster girls busy. I liked it solely because the concept was interesting, and the show was able to take it down several interesting roads, but, because of the Harem plot, the Harem was made a boring, useless moron who only existed for the actually interesting girls to chase and fight over. So when I first made "A Walk in Madness" I decided to make him stronger, and maybe another reason to get in that was less accidental. And as it went on, it start to revolve more around the story now than the harem plot. It became it's own, but held up a little better by removing the Harem plot.

That's not to say Harem plots are pointless or useless, because of several reasons. The first to make is that it allows for Fanservice that Japan has fun with, and helps to appeal to the male or female demographic. The other reason is that it can be actual plot with substance. A good example would be Ouran High school Host Club. That Anime was Essentially about a Club at a billionaires' school meant for pleasing the rich girls with rich men. The boys in there accidentally get a girl mixed into the group, but they like her enough to hide her gender identity a secret. I feel the Harem plot works really well there because it's part of that attraction and bond that pushes them to their extent to keep her as a member. It also leads to the many shenanigans they get into.

However, I still feel as if There are some Animes that could've had greater or epic stories in it if they didn't have the Harem plot. I've already mentioned how "Rosario and Vampire" But two other animes I've found are harem ones and also inspired me. (I don't know their names though)
This one where kids in a fighting school, who training to be soldiers I thought was going to do great things when they find a threat to their nation, but with the Harem plot and the Harem being a perverted jerk, the charm barely held for me when there were no fight scenes.
Another I found was one where a kid Could only cast magic 8 times in a world where people had tons of magic. The story didn't hold up as much when I saw how carelessly he used magic, and the Harem tricks were used way too much. I'd know ways to fix it, but that's just me.

As said, I know little about this stuff and don't do research, these are just my opinions.
I do understand why Harem plots are around, but I just don't always think they help a story, they may even harm them

I know I'm late to this information, by over two months, but when I heard Vivienne say she abruptly ended her comic "Zoophobia" I was a little saddened because I love the comic and her art. She's fantastic. Now She's not gonna have it just stop, she's rebooting the entire thing. Something I'm conflicted with.
I should like it because, Vivzmind's making it still, It'll be new art, and it could go longer than the original. However I still have some issues with it, a few straining from the original.
To not get the mob burning me on a stake, Let's get the positives. I've already stated I love Vivienne's work, and since she's rebooting it, it'll still be a story/character driven tale of a woman's altering life in this hidden world. It may seem obvious, but I've been exposed to the reboots Hollywood and other big companies do to get as much cash in as possible. So I'm delighted by all this.
Next the new art, I'm find with the original imagery that the first had. However, I see the final pieces she has at the end of her speed-draws, and they make the originals look like y handwork. So to see the reboot with this new updated art, it'll be astounding. I just hope it's still a webcomic so I can see it all.
Then there's the dream it'll go past the original. That may not be too hard, but I don't make tons of comics. Now she could remake the original arcs, but that's still redrawing all the pages. And it leads to an issue I had with the first.
I still love this, but something that bothered me in "Zoophobia" Was that Cameron got over her fear, I think way too early. Yes, it was the third or forth one in, but that's still a problem. The title of this comic is after her abnormal fear, and by that arc she no longer has it, making the title seem arbitrary. The latest "Godzilla" Movie had more connection to its title. I know Cameron can't always be the center of attention with the other great characters she has both planned, like Jayjay, and shown, Like Jack (My favorite), but it her fear stayed much much longer throughout the series, slowly working her way out of her zoophobia, It'd work better. Or maybe I'm just making a mountain out of a molehill.
Reguardless still plan to look into the reboot comic, and see how much has and hasn't changed, and can't wait to see it make me smile again. Good luck  vivzmind, and may your reboot surpass our expectations.

I just got back from "Hacksaw Ridge."
It's a movie style, documentary about Desmond Doss. This guy was a real person, who fought over in Japan during World War 2. Starting out with his childhood, we learn about how he get a lot of his morals. That, however, leads to conflict in the military, because he refused to use a gun and kill. It gets him insulted more, beat up, and even thrown in prison, but as he stands by what he believes he's allowed to go to war with out any weapons. (YES, this was a real person!)

Now once there in the movie you get the first best part of the movie, and then the worst parts of the movie. It starts with back to back war scenes. The first one is when they are taking Hacksaw Ridge, and this has to be done for them to take Okinawa then Japan. They go up after a bombardment, the gore is jsut everywhere, people get blown up with torsos left behind and guts. And there's just gunfire, explosions and fires. Desmond is in the middle of all this, without a gun, and trying to save people with another guy who you could call a movie warhero. Once the first part of the ridge is taken, you're allowed to breath as they settle in for the night. But the next morning, they are sent back off the ridge by the japanese, and how they just come is overwhelming. It was like watching army ants charge forth. There were explosions and people getting shot and blown up and stabbed and even that warhero died there. once that's done, you get the most amazing, and longest part of the movie. After the dust of losing the ridge again had settled, and the japanese are still looking for survivors to kill off, Desmond is still up there, taking people down the ridge to safety. (i'll say it again, because you may still not believe this. YES, DESMOND WAS A REAL VETERAN) He was sneaking about the battlefield, dodging the japanese, and pulling away injured men both american and japanese. in the process he even found the tunnel network they were using to hide all their men. By the end, he saved 75 soldiers. (Do I need to reiterate?) Those moments, where you see Desmond, find someone, and saves him, it just pulls at my heart and makes me smile. And then they smile at Desmond as he comes, it just makes the hells of war vanish just for a moment. And that last one he saves, the sergeant, that just gets your heart racing. He is hauling the guy while he's crippled, the japanese are chasing him, and he still has to get down the mountain. And once the sergeant is down there, it turns out Desmond is still alive. He makes his way down, and as the japanese are trying to kill him as he climbs down the soldiers down there are firing back up to save it. It's just so awesome. Then, as sad as it is, that moment ends, but respectably by everyone looking in awe at Desmond Doss.

After saving everyone, and things calming down again. Desmond is told that the soldiers are still having to go up the ridge again tomorrow, but he's also told this. "These men aren't going up there, not without you..." What more can be said to make that just get your jaw to stay on the floor?

I love this movie. It's got two gory moments, but it is a joy to watch once passed those parts. And I'd have to say, my favorite part is obviously the rescue of the soldiers, but for another reason. After saving each soldier in the night, Desmond says this before he goes out again. "Please, Lord, help me get one more... help me get one more..." That just gets me in the soul.

God Bless Desmond Doss, and may he rest in peace.

Well, what's to say on the changes. Well, #1. College and Work comes first. I'm sorry, but I need to do that.
This mainly means that if I can't post an art on a certain day, it just doesn't happen.
#2. The schedule will be followed. I'll release part of "What Matters" on Wednesdays and "We Stand Together" parts on Fridays IF I can. It's all about if I got spare time, and same goes for any possible art trades, request, and random posts.
#3. RPs can happen. They are easier to do at times rather than posting art.

With Spring break here, I tought I'd do something special.
You guys don't know yet, but I'm working on part 17-20 for both Trust or Secrets, and Relentless.
With times good, and seeing how I'd like to speed a few things along, This up coming monday, wednsday and friday I will be posting two of parts to each story over the break.

Well, I can write, and reply to you guys, but with my my files and old laptop dead, I'm screwed.
My old Mac book had all my old stories, so they're gone, and I can't use my new laptop's camera for taking pictures because it's a sucky one.
