Now this may come as a bit of a surprise to you all who follow me for SFM content as that's been my thing for the past 10 years. I was, and have been, pushing for more SFM content on this site even before it was allowed.

However, things sadly change. With the lack of new IPs, modelers, maps, and unique ways of making posters or animations that don't feel like a rehash of something done before, it's getting harder to come up with a new idea, let alone find any motivation. Not to mention the lack of feedback when it comes to what everyone wants or likes. Sure, favoriting a post can get me a general idea of what you guys want, but really what that tells me is you only like a pic because it has diapers in it, even more if it is a messy diaper pic, and yet very little on constructive criticism or on how the pic looks.

These are just a few examples from my gallery of what I mean. There is a certain pattern in that no matter what is posted, unless it has messy diapers in it, then everyone's gonna like it.

Now does that mean I don't want you to like messy diapers? No. If it's your fetish then you do you. But from my perspective, if what everyone expects to get just messy diapers, then what's the difference from what I make compared to whatever Stable Diffusion, NovelAI, or any AI can spit out?

The other reason for my consideration has to do with those who make models for SFM. As you can guess, the kind of content I'm known for is frowned upon by many and, while I've done other fetishes out there, most people don't want any association, regardless of intentions. This means that some will go out of their way to make sure resources are limited by either out right banning or pay-walling their work to prevent any use, but only to their close associates or otherwise. Not only that, but they may even refuse to accept a commission or gatekeep from those who may be more open.

TLDR: Models are extremely low and finding any is like finding water in the desert.

This is why I'm considering letting the SFM well refill with, hopefully, more things I can use to make posters and animations with. However, if you noticed in my list above, you'll see that I included a non-SFM set of pics. That was intentional because, like the messy diapers, most of my drawn artwork gets overlooked or gets no attention, again with the lack of criticism. I would definitely like to improve my drawing skills and put more effort into it, and it's less restrictive on content than SFM, but it's very unmotivating when views of a pic barley make it to 100.

But that's just my thinking, and I'd rather not change lanes without solid advice from you guys. So, what do you think? Should I put more focus on my drawing skills, or just keep trying to work at making SFM content? Let me know in the comments.

OPINION POLL

So… it’s been a while since I started offering commissions, and while I’ve gotten a few, I’m not exactly hitting it big. Now I can think of a number of reasons why I haven’t gotten any DM’s for commissions, or even art trades:

Lack of publicity or negative publicity, my mediocre drawing talent, my niche themes and kinks, my limited contact, or something else.

This then raises the question: is there ANYTHING that I’m doing or need to do to get more commission requests?

I’m not looking for handouts or pity. I just want to make sure I'm doing this right and deliver what you guys want.

With so many journals commenting on the new policy and how it could affect them negatively, it would seem like this site's days are numbered. Now as for me, like I said in a previous journal, this site and account are a means to an end as I've already been striked twice for uploading SFM content before it was even accepted and are still on record.

From what I can tell, the new policy will ban any account that has what looks like a "minor" in a sexual situation, even if the character is stated to be above age. Mostly, the admins have said that they're targeting pic that use Pokémon and Digimon in their baby forms, rookie forms, or ones that "look" like minors (even though they're not real). However, because they left this mostly vague, this means anyone who has artwork that could be taken as a minor in an inappropriate state could be banned, regardless of context. And knowing these moderators and admins, it would take one troll to simply drop a ticket on someone's account and the-powers-that-be would ban the account before asking questions or giving the accused the opportunity to defend themselves.

That being said, my gallery may or may not be a target when this policy goes into effect, and even if not, there are some people who shall not be named that have a personal vendetta against me who would gladly use this to try and get rid of me. And while I'm not going to remove myself voluntarily, I would like to ask if I should move over/start uploading to Inkbunny? While I do have an account there and watch several artists from here over there, I mostly haven't been using it to upload anything. But with a lot of individuals jumping ship, it might be inevitable that I might be going too.

So I ask: Should I move over to Inkbunny, or some other site?

So, good news: I got a new computer! Bad news, I still need to transfer SFM and the assets used in it to this new PC. While that’s going on, I do have CLIP Studio installed. But that begs the question:

Does anyone want me to continue doing drawn artwork?

From my statistics, it seems very few people like my drawn work, even the ones that are more adult oriented. And while I’m getting better, I’m probably not gonna make a masterpiece.

However, with SFM being limited in assets, flexibility, & originality; not to mention support for it dwindling with S2FM slowly taking its place; having another tool to produce pics would be nice.

SURVEY

So, recently I had wanted to get back to making content in SFM, since my drawn work seems to not be "improving", when for some reason the program will crash after about 2 minutes of loading a map and model in. Nothing I have done has fixed it and no one on steam either has the problem or the solution to the problem isn't one that'll work for me. Thus, I have to make a decision, one I don't like and you probably won't either...

All Source Filmmaker content is to be DELAYED until further notice.

It may be that I'll have to switch to source 2 filmmaker, but with it only available through SteamVR and DOTA 2, and my POS of a computer on life support, it may take a while. Sorry for any inconvenience it may have. I still have drawn content up for commissions/art trades, not to mention my own writings that I may start adding to here along with CHYOA, but we'll see.

While I try not to sound like I’m begging, it’s getting very difficult to keep from sounding entitled.

I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong or missing, but I can’t seem to get one commission. It could be because I was doing free requests at first, and that was because I was solely making SFM content and didn’t feel comfortable using someone else’s models for financial gain.

However, I have other things that I can do besides SFM like drawing, comics, writing, even make custom skins for models in SFM, yet I still get nothing; commissions, donations, hell I’d settle for some constructive criticism.

Again, I don’t know what I need to do or know advertise myself, yet I shouldn’t expect much as there are others that do the same thing I can do, and do it ten times better, on this site. So I really shouldn’t be asking for commission work. Instead I should let my work talk for me.

But still, anything, even if it’s critiquing my work, helps me out and let’s me know what stuff you want me to do.

Yes, yes. I’m not dead. Shocking I know. Just needed to take a month or so to get creative juices flowing again, and while I’m not back 100% I’m at least gonna try and start making some more art.

SFM, while still my main tool, has honestly gotten rather dull over the years and the lack of support in making any furry/ABDL related stuff has made things difficult, not to mention my 5 year old gaming laptop that can barely run a game of solitaire adds to the stress. So, unless commissioned, expect there to be less SFM content for the foreseeable future, including diaper skins.

You may have noticed a few drawn art here and there within my gallery. This is because I’ve been trying to do more hand drawn art. That, with the help of Clip Studio, has gotten better though I still need to practice. Just can’t get the feeling right on a tablet compared to paper and pencil.

Finally, despite me being open for commissions and trades, I feel like people either don’t want to note me for reasons or don’t know how to ask. That being said, I might make a google form order sheet. It’ll take a bit before I finish and release it, but this way, commissioning and/or trading shouldn’t be a problem in the future.

So, I wanted to ask, would anyone be interested in giving a commission for typical hand drawn art? So far there's been no one who wants something done in SFM, unless it's a free request but those don't pay the bills, and I've been practicing to some level of improvement in hand drawing artwork. If there're some who want a hand drawn piece, then send me a note and we can work out the details.

Well, 2020-21 was a bit of a shit show (and not the fun kind). So here's hoping 2022 will be better!

As far as this account goes, it'll still remain the same, more or less; SFM, diapers, watersports, and the occasional scat piece. But for 2022, I want to change things up a bit.

New Art Types

Over the past couple of years, I've been trying my hand at drawing both in traditional and digital formats, which you can see in my gallery and scraps, and while everyone watching enjoys the SFM content, I do want to spread out and try drawing more. So expect more of that in the future.

I'm also still working on making models to be used in Blender & SFM, more so now due to someone having an issue with me as a person and the stuff I made. Not gonna name names, but they know who they are. So I'm hoping to make some of my own models for both use and distribution. I'm also wanting to make my own character model set, one like Sonic Forces but for SFM.

Commissions & Requests

Despite me saying that I wanted to do more commissions over requests, and even using a poll to find out how much everyone would be willing to pay for a commission, no one has ever asked for a commission, nor donated Shinies to help me so I can do requests, which is a bit demotivating if you ask me.

So, here's what we are gonna try to do for January:

EVERYONE THAT DONATES THE MINIMUM OF SHINIES BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH WILL BE ENTERED INTO A RAFFLE TO WIN A PIECE OF COMMISSIONED ART WORK!

SURVEY

Let me start off by saying that this journal is not meant to justify any actions that have been negative towards anyone in the past or in the future. This is just to help explain why I at times act cold or indifferent on this site. Still, it is no excuse if I offend anyone and I apologize if I have.

When I joined over 11 years ago, it was as a viewing account like most. I’ve never considered myself an artist and could never draw a decent picture to save my life. When SFM came out and models from MLP and others suddenly hit the inter webs, it was like a dream come true. So, I slowly learned and made pic after pic, just because the ideas were flowing.

Soon I wanted to share these pics online and started posting here. However, it was during the time FA was restricting ANYTHING that looked video game related besides screenshots from Second Life. It was fine, until a random found my gallery and reported it, having all but one of my pics deleted! Some of which were the only ones cause I had the originals saved on an external that got corrupted and couldn’t salvage. Still, I waited a bit, hoping that the site’s policy would change, while other artists posted SFM stuff without even getting called out for it.

But, after a year or so, I was back on and making pics again. But soon, my account was flagged AGAIN and everything was deleted a second time. To top it off, I was hit with a suspension since it was my second “offense”. This got me royally mad as I tried to contact mods and admins to formally complain, which fell on deaf ears and was rejected.

Soon I lost all interest in FA and would see this account as a means to an end, even after the policy changed to finally allow SFM pics. This is why I haven’t made an avatar or faved any pics and just watch instead. I also adopted this cold behavior as I don’t want any emotional ties to this account or website since, well remember my last two flaggings? They’re still there, and one more will get me perma-banned.

Which is why I’m how I am. And while I have made a few friends here and have connected with them, I try and keep things personal and emotional off this site as it could be all for nothing. Those who do know me off FA know who I am and I try to be a kind person to everyone. But, again, that is no excuse if anything I've said or done has offended anyone and I do apologize.

I don’t expect to be forgiven or shown pity nor am I asking for it. I just want to clear the air of what anyone’s thought of me and hope that I can do better.

For those who haven't been keeping up, I've been trying my hand again at Adventure/Point & Click Game making. And after sitting down and reading the tutorial, I think I have a working understanding of how Adventure Game Studio works.

The problem is, as per usual, I'm not that experienced with making sprites, be it if they're pixel or vector puppets, and there are absolutely no references, bases, or anything resembling animated sprites for a retro adventure game. So, as it stands, my options are: Practice until I get gud with pixel art and animation; Copy and reuse assets from older games; Wait until there's a bigger fan base for AGS and P&C games; Find and commission someone to make the sprites; OR...

Ask and see if anyone wants to help make these sprites in exchange for an art trade!

Now, you may ask, "Why don't you just commission someone?" While that would be easier to do, I'm not exactly rolling in money here and no one has ever commissioned me for anything to help that. The only thing I've seen that people will respond better to is an Art Trade, which I've offered this whole time. Not to mention, some of the sprites I would like to have may be questionable to some and may outright refuse to do it.

So, if you like my art, can make animated sprites or even a sprite base for a P&C adventure game, and want to see an actual game be made; then please comment below or send me a note, along with references and what you want in exchange.

It seems as of late that individuals have been requesting more new diaper skins for the lil cow diaper model, even though the psd and gimp files are readily available to download from HERE. But, of course, it may not be because there's an accessible template file, but instead a lack of knowledge of how to ADD these textures to the model in the first place. Trust me when I say I had to learn this by looking up how Source Engine worked through much trial and error, the Valve Developer Community wiki is a valuable place to start (May not work on mobile for some reason or another).

Regardless, there have been some who have made their own skins, like  unknown7498 whose made a few based off of real world diapers and can be downloaded. Still, some people, surprisingly, want the designs I make. Maybe cause they look like Bambino or ABU diapers? Or they have their own unique personalities? I don't know, I rarely see any of them used outside my own artwork, and the ones I do find are so obscure you'd have to use Google to sure for them 50 pages in. So here are a few reasons why I haven't released a second texture pack. Call them excuses or what have you, these are what's keeping me from compiling a new pack all together:

1. LACK OF DESIGNS
While I don't mind making custom skins with or without patterns, it sure does help knowing how a typical diaper looks flatten out and how the pattern design is set. And while I can find some designs and patterns here on FA, trying to make a descent replica can be painstaking. There's also the regards to copyright and getting permission to use, which in most cases the artists have abandoned FA and so have no way of contacting them

2. PURPOSE
If you look over the skins in the first pack, there's a common theme to each of them; they were made to fulfill a purpose. Whether it was made for a one off pic, my Anthrocity idea, my Spolder pics, a random request or just because there weren't that many to choose from in the beginning, each pattern in the pack, and each individual skin release had a purpose behind their creation. Else, I'd just throw something together with no thought put into it and call it good.

3. INSPERATION
A bit of a combination of the first two, but still needs a dedicated slot. When ever someone asks for a new skin, my first question is almost always, "What do you want it to look like?". In most cases, this results in the answer of, "Whatever if fine!", or less common but still, "I want it to look like insert brand name diaper!" but gives no reference image or a 25px by 25px low resolution jpeg that makes you have to guess if what you're seeing on the pattern is a monkey or a leaf. What is extremely helpful is, if you use the template file and save it as a png, 9/10 times I'll be more than happy to convert it to the proper texture file Free Of Charge. Otherwise, if you can't figure out the template, then there are plenty of bases you can use found here on FA!

Each one is a viable option to use in showing what kind of diaper pattern you would want, so long as you give credit if you plan to post them to your gallery.

4. INCOME
While I've said this a billion times in the past, I'll say it again; it's very hard to maintain any form of gallery, even ones that are a hobby, if you can't earn finances. While I've made strides in providing means of earning some revenue, be it commissions or swirly donations, I've made a grand total from it all of

Yes, I'm not joking. And this includes updating my commission info page to include Diaper Skins as an option. Now I get it, you may not have the necessary funds to pay for it, that's fair. Or you feel that the asking price is too high, very well. We can negotiate it as I'm new to this sort of thing and don't have much of a business model to work off of. Or you rather do an art trade, excellent, I'm all open for it. All in all, it helps the motivation process if there's a form of compensation involved, just saying. And it helps having the necessary hardware to even RUN photoshop, let alone save a texture file when your CPU and RAM have all but shat themselves.

REVIEW
Again, you may see these as excuses as I have, and still am, making custom skins here and there, but that's usually cause at least 3 out of the 4 reasons above have been satisfied and let me sit down to create a diaper skin. I do want to release a new skins pack. Already I have quite a few made, but I don't feel like there's enough of them to release in a pack yet. So if you do want a new skin made for the Lil Cow Diaper, go ahead and leave a note and I'll eventually get to it. But if you want the skin ASAP, go ahead and ask for a commission. I am reasonable and flexable with price. If you have questions on I will and will not make, go ahead and ask me.

It's been a while since I've talked about this, but still have a desire to do. No matter if I have an idea in mind or made assets for one, I can't for the life of me translate any of that into a visual novel, even just a test/demo of one or a short game. I don't know if it's because I'm lacking something; software, motivation, confidence, etc. or I'm just a procrastinator thinking way too far ahead without knowing what's needed first.

What ever the case may be, it's really killing any creativity for anything including SFM and other stuff.

So, to help me out, I'm opening request for Visual Novel Stories to be submitted and made by yours truly.

Nothing too big or fancy. Just a short CYOA made in TyrannoBuilder. Artwork, however, would be limited to what I can do in SFM, photoshop and clip studio.

I'll open just five blocks as a limit, and once gone, they're gone.

So… anyone else update windows 10, only to have a hard drive crash entirely to the point of barley recovering it?

Well that’s what happened to me. And, to add insult it injury, it was the hard drive that had my SFM installed and all of my assets. Thankfully, I downloaded a program to recover, most, of the data that wasn’t fully corrupted, hopefully none of my SFM assets are corrupted.

Regardless, my gaming laptop is over two years old at this point and showing its age; slow ram, frequent crashing, unable to run a simple game like Minecraft at 30 FPS, basically its time to upgrade.

So I’m asking, if anyone can spare the money needed in order to invest in a new PC or Laptop, I would greatly appreciate it.
