I just don't know what it is anymore. I want to draw SO badly, but nothing looks good. I try hard to get better, but it seems I just can't break the mold. People tell me to take a break or quit, but I really just don't want to. I feel like a failure, but I want to fix it. I just wish I could do something I can be proud of. I can wear the mask of being proud of my work all day, but I can't truly say I like what I do yet, and it makes me worry that I may never reach that point.

Well, this sucks. I want to lay a few things out to explain why I haven't posted art. I've been really mentally fucked recently, and it just seems to be a worthless endeavor to draw at this point. Everyone except me has their own individual style, perks and all. I can't even finish simple anatomy or similar basic shit. People tell me to practice, and I do, but I never get better. I've been offered assistance, but it's not coming most likely, and I can't blame the person who offered, I'm a lost cause at this stuff. I don't know if I want to draw or even be in the community anymore, I just don't belong it seems. I hope you guys have a nice day, and to those I know personally, I'm sorry for being such a huge bitch.

I've been super slow to do much recently, and I apologize. Just wanted to give a few small updates.

I have been drawing, just haven't been able to fully complete much at all.

I'm really sorry for not posting the stuff I owe you all. I'm trying to find a consistent artstyle before I do much of anything within the community, and that gets in the way of the things I think I'm able to do. I'll try to catch up.

Hey, how's it going y'all? I've been slow to upload, but I'll try to pick up the slack. Anyways, over the last few weeks, my account has grown quite a bit, and I'd like to get some input from you all. What should I draw? I feel like I should do more for the community at large, because I'd never take up art without you guys. I may not be a great artist, but I want to draw for you guys, considering the amount of joy you've helped me obtain. It's honestly super cool to know people support my hobby. TLDR: I'm tired and a bit lost.

So, it's been a while since I've posted. I'm not too great at keeping an upload schedule, huh? I'm not too sure what exactly to say, but I do feel I need to talk. I'm having a rough time with art, and I honestly want to give up half of the time. Everyone tells me practice is the key to becoming better at something you want to excel at, but I just don't know anymore. I feel like I haven't improved since I've started, and it's a very painful thing to have nagging you non-stop. I want to communicate with the community, but I really don't think I'm an artist. I try my best everyday on everything I put my mind to, but maybe that's not enough to improve my artistic capabilities. It's very strange to be the worst artist you could possibly pick out of anyone you know. I just can't deal with the non-stop optimism I've been trying to build, it's hard to believe there's room for improvement when you know you're only scratching the iceberg of what you wanted to achieve in the time you've given yourself. I don't want to give up, but it's very tempting. I thought I'd become better when I obtained my drawing tablet, but it was like giving a blind man a pair of glasses, completely useless.

Sorry for my whining, but I've been holding back on saying something like this for a while.

I'll be back on track soon, and hopefully find a mood booster in myself.

I've been pretty nonstop due to school, and haven't done much. I kinda feel disappointment in myself, and I don't know how to shake it off. I have a trade to finish up, and then I have some stuff I wrote down to draw. I also want to ask you guys for some drawing ideas. My motivation has fallen quite a bit, and I don't know how to get it back up. Just throw general concepts at me, I really do need a force to help me forward.

Hey, so things have been kinda weird since I got back. I will complete my trades and I'm sorry if I'm taking too long. I've been having real trouble drawing anything that doesn't look awful and it's making me (metaphorically) pull my hair out. It's pretty depressing to come back home wanting to draw, only to have your efforts look mediocre. Sorry if this journal is stupid or a waste of time to read, I just wanted to update you guys on why I haven't posted anything since I got home.

Hey! I'm sorry for disappearing, but I have good news! ^W^ I have had to leave in two week periods for the entire summer, but now I'll only have to go for a weekend every other week or so! I'm really glad to be able to actually have a consistent upload schedule! However, I don't know if I'll be able to get stuff done every day or something like that due to school starting back up. I'm glad to be back!
