10 weeks after my accident, i can finally walk a few feet unassisted. I have a long way to go before i can leave the crutches or wheelchair at home, but its a nice mile-stone to hit.

Thank you, everyone, for your wishes and prayers. The first day after my surgery was very rough. I dont wanna live the day again. Yesterday and this morning have been much better. Ive been using the little tricks and tips that some furs suggested. Thank you so much. Im back to my normal dosage of pain killers. If everything goes right, I'll have my jaw unwired in 2 days. Im looking forward to eating real food; shakes and blended foods are getting really old!

It hurts so much. The surgeon didnt perscibe strong enough pain killers. I had to triple-up on my oxy-codone just to stop shaking and crying. I even went to the local er and sat in the waiting room to get morphine. After shaking umcontrollably for 40 minutes and begging for an injection, one nurse said there was a 3 hour wait but the doctors knew i was there and could see me on the security camera. I got irrate and said a few choice words before wheeling myself out, empty-pawed. So now im back at home, trying to control the pain enough so i dont naw off my own foot. So, needless to say, im not a happy camper.

Tomorrow, I'm the first person in the surgery-ward for a foot operation tomorrow to put all the bones back in place. If you dont know the situation, please don't ask, I crushed my foot in an accident. I checked with the bowling alley and we're still good for bowling tomorrow (Sunday) for 4 lanes. Everyone needs to rent shoes (even suiters) for $4. The suiters do not need to wear the shoes, suiters can wear their paws. Each bowling game is $6 and I expect we'll play 2 games or so. We don't have a private room reserved so the suiters will have to suit up at their cars or in the restrooms. Plan accordingly.

Unless things go horribly wrong tomorrow, Ill be back at my parents house in california where i started my around-the-country adventure more than three weeks ago. Thats 3 weeks of hotels and friend's couches and im happy to say I hit my goals for this trip:
Landed at all four corner states... california, maine, florida, and washington
Put more than 60 hours on my plane
Attend anthrocon and make new friends
perform on the funday pawpet show
See my sister in Virginia
Stay alive
And a few other things.

So in about a week, Ill be back in Afghanistan and ill have all the photos and memories to keep me going til next year!

Wow... What a great con. I said it during the con, "This is better than FC". It just proves that the attendees and the atmosphere is more important than the programming. I went to zero panels, zero shows, and zero dances. For 3 days, I suited around, chatted with people, made new friends, re-united with old friends and just had a really relaxing good time; just what I needed after traveling so far, back to California. I was fortunate enough to room with Strega and Mozdoc. I even got my own bed! I got "arrested" twice, both times in-suit, and had as much fun in jail as I did in the lobby. Growly, Subby, and Trigger-Happy Squirrel treated me to a dinner at Black-Angus which I very much appreciated. Afterwards, I was back to suiting and sipped on my Mike's Hard Lemonade. I didn't get stupid-drunk like I did at FC, but I was comfortable, for sure.
The next day was the Fursuit Parade, and in Question-mark's normal antics, he took apart his car and built a miniature car from a hand-wagon, his seats and doors. I didnt wanna be left out of the fun, so I carried around a 35lb spare tire during the parade. The evening came and I sat in the lobby and suited and chatted some more.
Sunday came around and we had to pack up our stuff and leave, but not before I suited around for another 7 hours. It was kinda sad to see everyone leaving the hotel at noon when there was still a few hours of the con left. Eventually, 4:00pm came around, so I de-suited in the restroom and left the con myself.
All in all, a great con and a great way to spend the weekend.

I made it! I survived one year in a combat zone. I left my FOB Yesterday and I'm in Kuwait now, sleeping in a bunk, waiting for my commercial flight home on the 21st. Ill be back in Arizona at 2:00pm on the 21st and in California on the 23rd or 24th.

I work for the U.S. Military in war zones. My job description is classified.

I'm pretty damn smart when it comes to machines and equipment. I can take things apart in my head or know exactly how something works without touching it. I buy projects vehicles that people give up on and restore them to very nice conditions.

I'm pretty damn smart and that works against me some times especially when it comes to people. I'm constantly looking for alternate intentions when people just wanna be my friend. I'm also not very interesting. I don't know if it because I live a boring life or because events that would be note-worthy to other people are just daily events for me.

Hopefully nothing. I do my best to be "normal" and non-memorable.

Being a burden to my family.

recently, its been Girl Scout Cookies. The GS troop in Sierra Vista AZ sent us hundreds of boxes of GS cookies and we've been chowing down on them for the last few weeks. I think everyone is pretty sick of them by now.

Orange juice for warm weather. Hot chocolate for cool weather.

Ok, So its been a week since I lost my Virgin Mobile Samsung Intercept phone (identical to this one http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5902697/ ) and I haven't gotten any leads or tips from it. I already bought a new phone and transfurred my number over so its not impacting me much but I really want some footage and pictures from FC that are on it. Ive called the hotel multiple times and they don't have it so it must be inside the fandom somewhere.
So, I decided to raise the reward to flush it out and get it back to me.
Here's the deal;

There's a $100 reward to the person who mails it back to me. The phone is only worth $100 new from target so this is quite a reward. I'll reimburse the shipping charges.

There's a $75 reward for the first person who informs the person who has my phone of the reward and its return.
