BloodBorne: My little review thing....
General | Posted 11 years agoSo I just picked up a new copy of BloodBorne for the PS4. The trailer made it look pretty cool and I love gothic stuff, so I figured why not.
First Impression: HORRIBLE
This game is so maddeningly difficult I was forced to rage quite without even completing the first level.
The graphics are beautiful, and I would have loved to have seen more of the game, but due to there being ZERO difficulty curve, it made it virtually impossible for a casual gamer like myself to have any fun with it. If you like Dark Souls and are possible a little insain, you might enjoy this game, but for me, I'm grossly disappointed that I spent $60 on it... Since I can't just try and return it claiming its shit, I guess I'll be forced to sell it to gamestop for half of what I paid for it...
Thank you for suffering threw my rage and disappointment fueled rant. That is all.

Ghost submissions???
General | Posted 12 years agoFor awhile now my FA dashboard shows I have ten new submissions to view, even tho I've nuked them all. This number started at like 2 awhile ago, but has been steadily increasing and is now at 10. Do I have a setting wrong, or is this a bug. Anyone else having this issue?
Finnaly made one of those F-List things.
General | Posted 15 years agoAs the subject says. Enjoy.

GARGOYLES!!!!!
General | Posted 15 years agoSo last night i couldn't sleep (probly to much Mountain Dew) and i was flipping threw the channels when i came accross an old cartoon called Gargoyles! I had totaly forgotten about this show! It orginally aired back in 1994!!! And features some very smexy characters both human and gargoyle. I totaly loved this show and it was such a blast from the past seeing it again.
From wikipedia..
"Gargoyles is an American animated television series created by Greg Weisman. It was produced by Greg Weisman and Frank Paur and aired from October 24, 1994 to February 15, 1997. At the time Gargoyles was hailed as an ambitious Disney animated series, targeting an older demographic. Gargoyles is known for its complex story arcs and melodrama. Character arcs were heavily employed throughout the series, and as the series progressed, it became deeply influenced by medieval Scottish history and Shakespeare's Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream."
How come we dont have sexy fanart of Demona with huge boobs yet?

AVATAR Special Edition in IMAX 3D
General | Posted 15 years agoOk, just got home from seeing AVATAR Special Edition in IMAX 3D.
This new version features over 15 minutes of new footage that's really cool, especially to a huge Avatar fan like myself.
I could go threw all the extra scenes but i don't want to spoil it for everyone. If you've seen the movie a hundred times like i have they stick out like a soar thumb, but don't disturb the flow of it at all. I think it adds to the whole experience.
In conclusion, i highly recommend seeing the Special Edition, its a great opportunity to see it in IMAX 3D if you didn't get a chance in the first go around or just an enthusiast like myself. Enjoy!!
RANT..
FUCK PEOPLE..
I get to the theater early to stake out a good seat, i like to sit in the center, towards the front because i like to just be overwhelmed by the huge IMAX screen. But then at least 10 geriatric FUCKS decided to take up positions on all sides of me. The guy who sits right next to me REAKS of cigarette smoke, but being the stubborn bitch that i am, i refuse to move out of my perfect viewing position. The dudes wife decides she needs to talk threw out the entire movie, and she sounds like Dr.Girlfriend from the Venture brothers, that two packs a day for the last 30 years voice. As the elderly mob around me whispers and chatters, obviously having there minds blown by all the loud noises and bright colors, old smokey next to me has to point at every new scene, like he needs to kick his brain into gear and pay attention every time something new is happening, and he points at the Na'vi subtitles and scrolls across them with his fully outstretched arm for what i guess is to keep himself from losing his place in the ONE sentence they show at a time!!! Poor Dr.Girlfriend has to constantly fan herself even tho its chilly in the theater, hot flashes i guess.
Just cause your old as fuck, doesn't give you the right, or an excuse to be rude and ruin other peoples viewing experience. FUCK YOU and thank you very much.

AVATAR in IMAX 3D
General | Posted 16 years agoJust got out, and all i can say is amazing...
The visuals are just beautiful, the storyline captivating.
While sitting in the theatre before the movie starts, i examin the 3D "glasses" even tho there more like goggles. One lenz in green, the other is purple. so im like WTF, i'd hoped that 3D technology had evolved beyond the Red/Blue card board things from back in the day. And they realy had, when the movie finnaly started, and you let you eyes ajust to the 3D, its wounderful, nothing tinted certain colors or anything, and the 3D effect is realy fantastic. Nothing flying at your face like you would expect a 3D movie to be, they go with just the "REAL" effect, like your watching it with your own eyes and not just on a screen. This is the future on cinima.
THE MOVIE was excelent, i loved loved loved loved it. The story is deep and insightful, and catches you from the start. You realy make a connection with the characters. And the movie does a good job of stearing clear of the clich'e.
You dont have to be a furry to fall in love with the "Na'vi", the indiginace people of the planet Pandora.
I stongly recomend this movie, and see it in IMAX if you can, its well worth the extra money.

I miss her so much already...
General | Posted 17 years agoThis morning i had to have my cat put to sleep. She was 11 years old. I've had her more than half my life, i got her in the fifth grade. She was a small Calico cat and her name was Nala. The vet told me the muscles in her heart where inlarged, shrinking the volume of the atreams in her heart, reducing the amount of blood pumped threw her body. She was limp and struggeling to breath when i took her to the animal hostital. The vet told me there where therapies that could be done, but she told me there was almost a 100% failure rate, and would only prolong her suffering, i had to make the hardest disission of my life. To stop her suffering.
The thing that makes it even harder is that she was fine last night, her normal active, loving self. One moment she was here with me, the next she's gone.
I love you Nala, and i will always miss you..

General | Posted 17 years agoI was in a car accident today..in my brand new GTI.....
I was sitting at an intercection in traffic, i stopped, a Toyota seienna van pulled up behind me and stopped, then i heard tires squeel and a large explosion, a split second later the seienna rams into me.
I'm ok, might have whipelash, but i'm ok. My car is the only one that wasn't hauled away on a wrecker. Its in the bodyshop now. Driving a stupid rental volvo...i hate it...i want me GTI back.
