So I've had one commission never completed but I can only remember the name on PayPal and not their username here. I have another commission I've been waiting on and that person disabled their profile. Advice???

I have been feeling more and more disconnected from the furry fandom in the last few years and have become increasingly uncomfortable with calling myself a "furry" due to the extreme level of fetish artwork and staggering amount of flame wars and a general feeling of discomfort about the whole thing. It's the atmosphere that I just don't enjoy. I've gone back and forth for a long, long time but have decided to leave the furry fandom as I don't feel it represents what I stand for artistically and personally in my walk in life. I will be keeping this account as I enjoy commissioning people and doing occasional art trades but will no longer be drawings anthros. I have some really good friends on this site who I want to stay in contact with, I love you guys a lot and  silverwing and  charmcityhorrorshow have been so supportive and kind to me that it makes me feel a little more comfortable about posting the details of this decision.
I still do not have a scanner and my own internet access but I have started an art blog to post my work when I do acquire those things; so if you want to follow my work, that's where I'll be.

I enjoyed many of your entries but nothing really, really "clicked" so I am doing a pencil sketch for each person who entered, one character, G rated :) please comment or note me with a character reference and any details you might have like a specific pose.

So I have used a wide range of aliases/usernames for my art, journals, notes/emails etc. over the years; however I have yet to come up with one I like enough to stick with. I loved my original handles, Kizzy and Goatmilk but I can't get all those old accounts back so I'm holding a contest, if I choose your idea for my new handle you get a free colored commission of a character of your choice as long as it is G rated.

Here is a list of stuff I like that could be incorporated into a name, alliterations are my favorite approach. Feel free to add words to connect these ones or give them more meaning, these are just guidelines but you don't have to use any of them if you want to come up with something on your own. In part due to the fact that I've had to use the camera on my phone rather than a scanner. I felt like my gallery was looking pretty drab and want to use it to show my best work and redirect people to my tumblr (same username) which will be the place I update most once I get it up and running.

I'm just now beginning to commission artwork of my character and wanted to leave some helpful notes here. Also, feel free to recommend artists with good prices and trustworthy turnaround, I think that's the word I'm looking for. Anyway, here are the notes for anyone who needs them. Aliyah is about 200 lbs and is closer to a dog in size than a lion. Her body is that of a leopard without any markings except a creamy/sandy colored triangle under her chin while each of her back toes are also that color.. Her beak and talons are slimmer and more. Hawk than eagle-like and gray, the hands are referenced from crows/ravens. The crow wings also show my love for corvids. Her right eye is gold and her left eye is sky blue. And she has symmetrical black blazes around both eyes. Her talons can be any color, I prefer lime green but orange works too, pink, purple- I think it really depends on the pic. My favorite color is green though. Aliyah's name is Hebrew for "to ascend" and she is as much a spiritual being as a physical one, representing my path in both senses of the word she is a symbol of growth and learning. She daydreams a lot, is fairly shy but when she loves, she loves deeply with empathy and compassion. She is not very patient but this too is being learned with time.

If you've been trying to text or call over the past several days it's because I had to get my phone replaced which is great when the problem has nothing to do with what might be a whacked out SIM card, needless to say the replacement phone has the same "hiccups" in its system as the first.
