Emergency!
Posted 11 years agoOkay, due to familial issues I need $800 ASAP or I'm getting kicked out of my home and will be unable to return to college!
If you have been holding off on buying ears due to a lack of necomimi send me a note in your order and I'll send your ears ready to be mounted on a normal headband!
My etsy shop is at www.etsy.com/shop/plushability ! I appreciate all the help I can get!

I got my Greyworld Tail in!
Posted 12 years agoMy Greyworld Tail from the Grow Your Own Tail Kickstarter came in the mail!
Overall I'm pretty happy with it, but it's a little less than we were told to expect. For starters the injection-molded parts we were promised are instead 3D printed, which leads to durability issues. Mine has some loose/flaky layers that I'm going to keep an eye on. Secondly the battery pack is huuuuge, like 6 AA batteries huge. It's supposed to clip to your belt too, but it seems a bit much to hide. I'm talking to a comrade about modding it to use a smaller lithium-ion battery. And Thirdly, while I haven't been able to confirm it myself, there's reports that the controller doesn't so much 'control' the movement pattern as much as randomize it. A little annoying but whatever.
Overall, though, I'm happy. The tails have a one-year warranty so as long as I'm gentle with the tail I'm not too worried. I'm looking forward to upgrades in the future but in the meantime I'm going to work on making custom skins for the standard tails and I may take orders on skins for the unusual-sized ones as well.
And don't worry, I'm still offering/working on ears as well! I'm already planning on some matching sets! Stay tuned!

Tailly Indiegogo
Posted 12 years agoThe Kickstarter didn't work so the creator started this Indiegogo campaign: http://www.indiegogo.com/tailly
I'd actually be willing to take 'preorders' for custom tails for the people who fund the campaign. I think, if it does get funded, I'll charge $50-70/tail depending on size and complexity. However, I'll definitely offer a discount to people who fund the Indiegogo campaign. Maybe 25%? Tell me what you think!

Custom Necomimi Ears!
Posted 13 years agoHello!
I'm currently attending classes at FIT, which is lovely because the Fashion District is RIGHT THERE, including the wonderful Elegant Fabrics and it's wonderful, wonderful furs! They even have a few of the discontinued Tissavel faux furs, including the 'Flash' series!
....for $200 a yard D:
The ears don't use a lot of fur, if anyone was interested in furs like this: http://www.fauxthrow.com/faux-fur-f.....e-faux-fur.htm I'd be willing to pick up a few quarter yards and just make back the money. They have pink/purple, red/black(purple?), blue/green, and yellow/green that I remember, they'd make nice highlights/markings. Anyone up for some color on their ears? :p
