UGH. my mother has yet again made a choice for me.

I'm going to sound heartless for all of a sentence, then you'll understand.
My grandmother died today at 7:30 Precise. She was 83, with a DNR order on her due to prior injuries and renal failure that had been ongoing for 5 years.
I loved her.
But I'm not sad for her passing, and I do not want to attend her funeral.
I am anyway! Because my mother already told my managers, so I lost 3 days of work and I'm being forced to go somewhere for a week. =___=
It is not that I don't care. I truly loved my grandmother, she was an amazing woman. Her aunt was Cathrine Leighton, a famous artist, Nina herself raised her first child through the beginning of WW2.
She was a little 100lb spitfire who didn't really like sitting down and waiting for things, like death.
My grandmother today went out on a blaze of glory on a holy day and saved my grandfather's life, sacrificing her own. She died technically at the scene before her body died in the hospital 11 hours later.
It was quick, it was painless, she felt nothing other than probably sadness for leaving my grandfather.
I'm not upset about her passing. I mourned her death 3 years ago because dialysis is a death warrant.

I was just given the chance to make up some hours that I lost Sunday by not being able to get to work, but low and behold my mother is already drinking SO I can't work. l: I'm a little annoyed.

That's 67 dollars I won't get now because my mother is unreliable.

I gave her food and fresh water though. 3:
I already have four kitties and they don't seem to like her too much, but I'm worried about calling a shelter, because most shelters in my area are High-Kill, especially with older cats and dogs.
): She's really cute.. but I really shouldn't adopt another cat.

Witchlet's hoodie is finished, it ended up just being a hoodie, but ff. it's really cool non-the-less.
I bought some beautiful brown fur that goes from dark brown to reddish through grey and ruddy ticking. Really pritty.
I will be selling 3 Tails soon. I have 1 white dog/wolf tail, 1 small curly gray tail and 1 black wolf tail still in construct )<
Idk how much to sell dems fer, they'll probably go on Ebay tho.
& Finally, fuck it's cold in my house.

The outside is this comfy feeling woven knit. It acts just like jersey cotton and it's so easy to use. & oh my god. I found it in Witchlet's real fur color. It's such a beautiful nut brown. Ohgod.
I also have lightish creme brown for the tummy and it's pockets, and the insides of her ears.

It's really rough.
Like today, I realized i was experiencing strange under arm and breast pain!
Then I remembered i'd been wearing a very tight black sports bra for about 4/5 days, so. That explains that.
Sometimes typing it out helps, I just wish I could find my center and be ok with what happens in my life.

Posted 16 years agoIt's still Yule to me, I can't wait till Kibou comes home so we can do spiffy things with our KICKASS log that we were given by nature.
There aren't any presents under our tree this year, what with mom out of work for 8 months and me having my low salary that I do, but it's ok because we got snow and I think it's a beautiful gift all by itself.
Gifts will be given after Yule I suppose, after I get my really good check for working Christmas day tomorrow.
It's fairly lonely tonight.

Can't sleep, just got that horrible 'Something's wrong' feeling.
AH. ): squid.
Anyway, typing things out makes it feel better.
I think it all stemmed from my elbow pain.
EVEN THO I KNOW IT'S JUST Carpal Tunnel.
Indeed.

This fear is entirely illogical.
The basis is.
My elbow hurts, so somewhere, possibly connected to me, someone is in horrible arm pain, or is injured. l:
THAT SCARES ME. Silly. Silly brain of mine. -knocks on skull-
Righto. Back to Southpark. I feel better nao. n__n
+ Rationalizing is a girl's best friend.

My dog likes to roll in snow.
& Kibou totally destroyed her car in an accident last Wednesday.
I might open commissions to help her out money wise, cuz now she needs a new car and mebbe surgery. ):!
I's angry at her for being silly and wrecking her car, but ohwhells. Maybe we can get some pictures of her cool arm bruise though. n__n

(: Maybe VA can be next.
On another note, DAMN i've been working so much.
I've hardly had time to draw, besides the fact i'm moving my BFFL in before we can find our own place and be free from living with our parents for good! Whoo.
We're looking at a few homes in Powhatan in our price range, if you know of any cheap rental homes/apartments in your area, let us know! Me and Kibou would love to have some furry friends that we could chill with on a more regular basis.
Right now we're camping out in mom's basement. (:
