ART FIGHT done and on break!
Posted a month agoHey guys! Hope y'all have been good! So another year of Art fight done and this was quite a good year! Got to draw a lot of new ocs and even reach my goal of 200+ pieces this month! With that in mind I'm gonna take a week long break to recuperate and upload the 212 pieces I have in backlog. xD
I'll be back on the 8th or earlier, after which will get right back into work on the main comm queue! Thanks for reading and prepare for art uploading for the next few weeks!

I will begin work on main comms sometime next week which will give those selected time to ask if they'd like to be further in the queue, earlier, etc.
If you were not picked for the first 30 you will be selected for the next batch of 30 and so on.

New Year Update (Comm Closed)!
Posted 8 months agoHey Guys! Hope New Years went well for you all! I just want to give a little update and thoughts before the flurry of getting the new year started begins.
First off thank you for the kind words and patience when I got sick, it's very much appreciated! I'm still not at 100 percent yet but I am feeling much better. Being bedridden though made me think on some things (besides the weird dream trips from the fever) ; namely how much we've grown as a community and how lucky I am to have met and befriended so many awesome people. Ever since the pandemic I've been pretty much isolated from the outside world, my contact with IRL friends slowly dwindling. I admit I think I would have deteriorated mentally were it not for the peeps I found and still hold dear today. Not to mention you guys who continuously supported me even through up and downs so again thank you sincerely.
NOW onto the bulk of the update! First off I severely underestimated how many ref sheet submissions, never mind the bundles, would be sent in. There are so many ideas I definitely want to do but I don't want to burn out from trying to finish them all in a timely manner. SO I'm thinking I might bring back my old waitlist idea from years back.
Basically I will still pick 30 to do, and have them in batches as usual, but for this year, once I finish the first 30 and the requisite health break, I will pick another 30 from the submission pool. Should I finish with the second batch with time to spare I'll pick another 30 and so forth. That way there will be a flow of work and people won't have to wait for another year to submit an idea. Basically if you submitted a form, you have a 80-90% chance of having a piece done. Naturally not EVERY submission will be done, but the odds will be significantly higher this time around.
In all honesty I was rather disappointed in myself with how little comms I managed to do last year and want to do better. I don't regret the growth I've had from drawing and doing commissions, but I do regret not being able to explore that growth even more. Maybe even use this chance to go a bit more experimental than my usual stuff. Granted I haven't done this method in a while so there will definitely be unforeseen circumstances. But I think with my experience with the previous openings and with no more major life situations to handle with immediacy I can take on the work load.
So to facilitate this I'll be extending the deadline to submit forms to one more day on Jan 2nd.

Posted 8 months agoHey guys! The Main Comm form is live and is now open for submissions! I'll be selecting 20-30 submissions for the first batch, but if I do finish the batch ahead of schedule I may pick a few more from those that were not chosen first time round!

Posted 9 months agoHey guys! First off sorry for the lack of streams this month! Been sidetrack with RL stuff that took up most of my time and energy. But I am planning to start streaming again at the start of December.
During that month I will be streaming almost everyday to make up for lost time and finally finish my batch of main comms before the year ends. As such I will be sending the remaining slots their invoices in the first week so there's no delay in sending and awaiting payment.

No Subject
Posted 10 months agoI normally don't make posts like these; but to all trans folks and people who continually endure hardship, please stay safe and know that there is always someone who cares for you. You are loved no matter what.
I honestly wish I could say something more profound and empathetic, but the genuine anguish of those who will be severely affected by the news and the implications is something I don't think I could ever properly address beyond offering words of comfort and hoping for the best.
What I might say instead then is that for the past few years I have witnessed amongst the insane corruption and blatant hatred is perhaps one the greatest surge of activism towards the fight against corruption and the capacity for people to care about one another in a long time.
That and how people will endure struggles and hardships unimaginable to the decent minded to keep on living, and that through the unbelievable quagmire of those who strive to hurt others, there are those who will fight to oppose them.
These and future days will be full of more pain and hurt but this is not the end. Please remember the good things and stay safe.

First off I'm sorry for being inactive social and streaming wise, something family related has come up (nothing dramatic like a death or anything but something that does need to be done) that I have to devote time to. So for the time being I will be going offline for maybe the next two weeks and checking in every so often.
And with that in mind: work on comms, streams, and the planned instream raffle days are postponed until I finish up the matter.

Test instream raffle idea!
Posted 12 months agoHey guys! So just about done with my current batch (1 bundle nearly done, 2 comms and a basic ref to do) And my week long break will be coming on the 23-24th.
But before my break I would like to try a test instream raffle this Sunday at around 12-1pm PST! The raffle will probably be around 8-10 slots that will basically be similar to my Artfight drawings (Colored thighbodies with some shading/highlights) with a flat price of $200, with a complimentary NSFW alt included.
As for how the raffle and selection goes, it'll be like my previous instream system (win one week and have a week to fill out a form) where you have to be in the chat to enter the raffle roll.
Only 'limitations' there would be is no intricate armor or mech designs (simple robot characters are fine) and basically anything under my 'will not do' . Trying to see how fast I can do these with a rate similar to my artfight attacks.

ArtFight Done! Updates!
Posted a year agoSo Artfight is done! And I got to say I was extremely humbled by how many people attacked and counterattacked me! I was genuinely expecting maybe 5 or even 7, definitely not 150+ arts. xD
Needless to say you guys really kept me on my toes trying to keep up with revenging! It was a really fun experience and I'll definitely do it again next year! And maybe do some leftover attacks as warm ups!
Now for updates! Because I did so much I'm pretty much exhausted, having beaten my previous record of 155 drawings in a month. With that I'm gonna take 1-2 weeks off to recuperate and spend some time doing personal arts with the occasional stream working on overdue mutual oc arts! Along with that I'll be returning to my normal streaming schedule of Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays being workdays and the rest as off days.
And speaking of streaming once I come back from my break I'll resume work on the last few comms (roughly 4-5) in this current batch. After this current batch and the week long break after I'll also be resuming Instream comms again!

ART FIGHT / STREAM SCHEDULE FOR JULY
Posted a year agoHey guys! First off apologies for the long silence and the lack of streams recently; Been setting up my Art fight profile, making my hitlist of artists to attack with art, bookmarking characters to draw and other things to take care of. But with Art fight around the corner I have a stream schedule I'll be trying to stick to for the entirety of July:
~ Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays will be 12-13hour streams focused entirely on art fight attacks and such.
~ Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays will be half-n-half streams, first six hours on comm work and the later 6-7 on Art fight.
~ Sundays will be 6-8 hours streams that will be art fight / comm work / personal stuff.
All the streams will hopefully start around 12-1pm and since I'll be almost entirely focused getting at least one Art fight piece done per day, chatting on my end will be pretty much nonexistent.
All in all hoping to get quite a few characters drawn and train myself to speedup more! Thanks for reading!

So the update is that I completely forgot about my cousin's graduation which means I'm flying over with family to Texas to attend for about a week, which means I'll be gone my desk from the 10th to the 18th. Posted a year agoHello everyone! Happy New Years Eve and eventually New Years day! This year has been quite an eventful one; New friends, new arts and more characters! I just wanted to say thank you all so much for being awesome folks with supporting me and my stuff by comms, chatting, or just by vibing here and elsewhere, reminding me I would not have gotten far without you guys so thank you again!!
Also for New years resolutions, chief among them will be doing more character relationship/ backstory arts, namely Gwen and Haley! Also with that I'll try to do more to interact with folks and mutuals, doing arts, trades etc. Basically be more social!
That's just the main resolution but I'm sure there'll be more as the new year rolls in! Here's to a wonderful, and memorable 2024!

MAIN COMM QUEUE UPDATED
Posted 2 years agoHey guys! So after looking over the forms I have selected the submissions for this opening batch and placed them in the queue linked below for view. At this time I will be also sending a notification e-mail to the selected commissioners to confirm their selection and shuffle the order if requested.
Do keep in mind that they are not confirmed slots, but selected ones, meaning they are simply reserved until the time comes to work on them and the invoice has been sent to start work. As such the queue is simply the order I'll be tackling them with no rigid schedule in order to give each piece the time they need for completion.

Posted 2 years agoHey guys! Just a heads up, I'll be returning to streaming work this Wednesday to make my break an actual full week. And in that regards there will be a few changes at the moment.
Firstly I'm am thankful that you guys continue to show support and interest in my work and commissioning me constantly, I wouldn't have a base without you guys!
That said I have noticed that instream raffle comms have been creeping up over into Monday and Wednesday streams , taking time away from main comms that have yet to be fulfilled and are frankly overdue. So in the meantime, after I will finish up the last batch of instream winners starting this Wednesday I will be holding off doing comm raffles for the foreseeable time until my remaining main comms are completed.
As much as I enjoy doing the instreams and seeing new characters, I don't want to put off this second batch of work as well for much longer than needed.

Essentially the raffle instreams will have the same prices and options barring a new one to be detailed below, but the main change will be that instead of doing a raffle after every completed piece I'll be raffling the winners in one go. Taking in 3-4 winners on one day and streaming the work on the next Friday and Saturday streams, (or when no main comm is scheduled Monday and Wednesday streams). Ideally this will give winners time to fill out forms, be able to participate in the raffles, and give me time to prepare for the ideas, etc.
In addition to this change I will also be introducing a new option:
Cel-shaded Fullbody!
Basically it's the Fullbody flats option but with block shading and highlights to make the piece really pop out, with examples of this style similar to the recent mutual oc arts I've done over the past few weeks so. The likely price for this option will be $240.
All in all, I am curious to see how this new format will go! Thanks again for the support and stay awesome y'all!
