I'm so confused I've had this account for years, and havent made another one before.
Literally just logged in last night to post an animation (SFW duh) and I got an email today for evading a ban.
Currently locked out of my account but I've filed an appeal so...
...*sigh*
Anyway, this is just another wall to get over.
I hope they reverse it. But if not... Ill figure something out again.
Gotta do it.

Posted 8 years agoSorry I've been away for about a week, havent had time to really do anything thanks to the... tests.
So, funny story, during one of the test two days ago, as I was going around I felt something wet trickling down my body inside my shirt.
Looked down, it was blood.
Was like "Well, shit I think I'm gonna die now" (Not really)
Anyway turns the sling-bag I was using while going around was chafing the scar on my chest and a blister had formed!
Long story short, sitting here with padding across my chest and basically an bright green 'ok' from the doctors.
Will be starting commissions again in a day since the tests are over for the week! Will update yall who took slots soon!
I apologize for the delay and if at any point you decide that it's been too long, please just let me know!

Posted 8 years agoMessed up big time today. Went to the docs and was given some meds to help me sleep.
To cut to the chase, I've been pushing myself too hard the last 2 weeks, barely sleeping and today my body decided enough was enough and had me.. do fun stuff. Let's just say.
I'm going to force myselt to take a break for a few days, up to a week. Doc agrees I should rest more.
Apologies to the people who grabbed a slot in the comms! If, by the time I come back you don't want your slot please just let me know : D
(This is why I dont take upfront payment, haha - I'm weak as shit.)

Posted 8 years agoSo after doing a bunch of studies on my own time (anatomy and such) I began to think about how it all started, doing vector/tribal art (something I still do, just.. don't even post them anymore).
It just got a little nostalgic there at the end I suppose.
It's been a really really fun experience, mostly being that when I started doing digital painting I never thought I could do the things I do now!
From my own understanding I just want to say that there are a TON of things still wrong with my works, mostly stuff like perspective, anatomy and then expression. Where tribal art was concerned, the only thing I ever needed to focus on was expression - and, maybe I consider that one of the greater joys in what I like to do.
I love focusing on expression. I love conveying emotion and feeling. But I've hit a plateau so to speak - I cant express properly without the right tools, without understanding how the body moves, how the face changes, every little thing adds to the overall emotion the subject/character is feeling. For that, I've been trying my HARDEST to learn whatever I should've learned a long time ago (when I started doing more... artsy stuff instead of just tribal art all the time.
I guess this journal is more like a retrospective than anything. I've, grown a little in some ways where art is concerned, but with that growth I've always come to realize that I'm severely weak in many OTHER aspects.
*shrugs* I guess, like all things; this is just the way it is. If I stop here, it'll be the end of that. Buut, I need more, just so I can convey more. Just because I didn't get the chance to go to an art school/study art doesn't give me any reason to just up and leave after all. Only difference is that I've got to work harder. So I will! I just hope that you'll join me for this journey. And I really want to thank all of you.
Yes, all of you who've supported me through the years, from when I did my first painting in December of 2015 until now. I wish I could've grown faster; but I'm kind of a slow learner! : P
