Just wanted to give a quick update as to my whereabouts. So my apologies for the inactivity YET again. But the past 3 months have been pretty rough. My mom got into an accident (fell on her head), and I've been recovering from my 3rd major Acid Reflux attack. So we've both been in and out of hospital recently.

We're both alright and stable as of now, just trying to take it easy and recover.
But I just wanted to let you and my clients know of the delay.

Just wanted to give my tribute to the big boss himself,  Dragoneer

I didn't know him personally, but in the few interactions that I did have, he seemed pretty cool.
And reading messages from others, he seemed like such a friend and standup guy in the community.
So, it's an absolute shock to hear of his sudden passing.
And I wish him eternal peace, and hope his family and friends closest to him find their peace moving forward.

It's definitely been a bitter year, seemingly filled with death and ailment for so many. I certainly have seen & experienced a good share in the this past few months alone, a good number on a personal level.

But now to hear it be the death of FA's founder, hits even closer as a Furry and member of this Community...

It's funny,
It was only a few months ago that Dragoneer left a fun little comment on one of my images (his first and only).
I think he was one of the first to figure out the Easter Egg in that image.
I was pretty honored to receive his comment.
Never once did I think this would be the last time I would ever hear from this man...
You really can't tell what's just around the corner.

Hi everyone

Hope you're have a better June than I am.

My apologies for yet another inactive month both on art and responding to notifications here and elsewhere.
I've been in and out of clinics these past few weeks trying to deal with my aching teeth.
So apparently I have multiple tooth abrasions on the left side of my jaw, as well as receded gums aforementioned affected teeth. To top it off, my jaw has since been acting up for two weeks now making it very difficult to eat. The dentist aren't sure what it is, but assume it might be an impacted molar, which I don't want to get remove since it's still healthy. So we're all just guessing at this point.

But it's been a messy & stressful month. A lot of back and forth dealing with my new fillings, adjusting - readjusting... A lot of guessing, frustrations and poorly managed situations. I'm currently going back to find dentist. Wish me luck that it's a kind, patient and competent one who can fix my problem once and for all.

Because I've been in a lot of pain these past 3 weeks now. And just haven't been able to concentrate on work and play as much. So I hope you all can forgive the lack of communication and activity, especially from my clients right now.

It's made things slower for me and I hope those currently waiting on their commission and those waiting for a slot will understand. I thought you should know. And I apologize for the inconvenience.
I'm doing my best to get these projects done, and I will keep you all posted.

Happy 2023 Everyone!

Congrats on surviving another year.
In spite of all the trials & tribulations this past year, we've made it. And to those closes to us who didn't, my thoughts and prayers go out to them.

It's been a tough year.
War, death, division...It's been a mess.
More so personally.
Mentally, physically and artistically it has been an up-hill battle. It started off high and ended up low.
I can sum it up in one word "unproductive". And I've read in the past few month other people (on FA alone) going through similar problems as I did. So it comes as some solace knowing we shared the same misery & same understanding this past 2022.

To quote the late Queen Elizabeth II
"It is not a year on which I shall look back with undiluted pleasure"

YET, here we are, a new dawn!
But despite the issues this past year, there have been some silver linings. For every issue I faced this past year, there was an equal blessing on the opposite side. Being with family, a home, financial stability, comfort & commodities, and above all, recovering health & continued safety. I'm grateful to still have those blessings in my life. And I hope you've had your share of blessings too, whether it be big or small. You gotta count them. It'll make the past year less crummy.

But here's hoping this new year will indeed bring new and better beginnings for us all. Well, that's the hope at least.
So CHEERS to you! May this year bow to our favors.
And here's hoping our past shortcomings remains in the past.

And once again, to all of you who've remained, who've supported and shared such love & care. I thank you for your continuous kindness and generosity.
I know I've been incredibly inactive this past year, and I apologize.
But I can not stress my appreciation to all of you who shared their support and understanding during these turbulent months.

Hope you are all fairing well & staying safe. Miss you all!
Just wanted to make a quick update.

You may have noticed my absence and lack of activity these past few months. So I figured I'd let you know what's going on.
So since March I've been going through a major depression streak. I have no idea what happened to me. My insecurities and doubt are all over the place, and my work schedule and efficiency has been utterly drained.
I'm completely out of my self. I feel emotionally broken. I've lost confidence in my self as a person and artist, and I'm just forcing myself to get through for the sake of work and basically not hanging myself. But I just feel awful.
Negative memories and experience of the past kicking me, my subtle failures bugging me, my anxieties taring me...
I'm not happy with how I work, I'm not happy with who I am...I'm not even happy with my hobby of collecting. I end up scratching or ruining my own precious stuff because of my own paranoia of keeping things safe. I do more harm than good trying to preserve things. And I hate it.

I just haven't been myself these past months, and I thought by cutting myself out of the world for a bit, I could clear my head. But it only made me feel worse.
I hate that I'm keeping people waiting and wondering. And I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful (just want to make that clear), I just thought I needed time away. Hey!

Hope you don't mind, but I just need to let it out.
I mentioned in the past I don't usually like talking about my personal life, but the start of this week has been just too much for me.

First I appreciate people who greeted me on my Birthday today. I really appreciate it.
It's the little comfort I can get outta this crappy start to the week.

So didn't really spend my birthday as I'd like (again). I spend the entire day just doing chores on behalf of my mom since her court hearing just so happened to fall on my Birthday. And you'd think the one present I could get was for the courts to be on my mom's side. But NOOOOOOOOO! The judge (who previously was more sympathetic to us, considering we had all the proof & evidence to back us up on our lawsuit) decided to make a U-Turn and favor the defendant.
So I didn't really even get to relax the whole day. Didn't even blow out any candles.

Then one after the other, our favorite pets started to fall gravely ill. To the point of an emergency at 10pm.

While earlier that day on the way home, my mom encounters stupidity at the local Mcdonalds after the drive thru clerk screws up her order. She ordered leg and thigh for her fried chicken and a soda, and ends up getting the rib parts and no drinks.
Like, they had one job!
And all the while I was trying to order BBQ, but the online deliver had it listed as sold out (even though if you go to their restaurant, it readily available)

Then for some f*cked up reason both our cell phone service go completely haywire. It becomes a f*cking battle just to get a signal, which we never used to have a problem with.

Then the next day, my butterfingers decide to knock over my favorite collectables (after me trying so desperately to be careful). And as a result, ruining the item.
While on personal stuff, I've been on break from commissions working on this stupid FNaF image, and for the past 3 days I've just grown so sick of it. I've made it 50% of the way, but I'm at a point where I'm just sick and tired of trying to continue.
So quid essentially, I've wasted nearly a month on this one image when I could have been doing something more productive. I haven't earned squat this entire month, and I hate that I wasted my time when we're already tight on cash as is.

Finally the cherry on the sh*t cake, a local online seller decided to be the smartest of brains and change the color of my Denim Overalls from blue to black because they realized they were out of blue...Then decided to would be okay to send it out without telling me first.

We're just so overwhelmed by the bullsh*t right now.
Like, I'm deeply deeply angry. I prayed for a good week, but this is what we get. And even with a late b-day day out tomorrow, it's not a whole day of fun. A portion is for my mom's ear check up since her Tinnitus is killing her. And I hate there's nothing I can do to help.
Just, f*ck.
I know, compared these things are nothing compared to like the atrocities occurring in Ukraine right now, I get that. But I'm only human, and when one thing after the other just comes at you, it does get daunting.

Sorry guys, just had to let that out.

Just wanted to drop by and wish you all a happy holidays, whatever you celebrate, my best wishes.

I also wanted to thank all of you who gave their good wishes regarding y health. I deeply appreciated each of your support and advises.
So thank you so much, it meant the world to me. Your understand is all I could ask for.
Just a quick update on that, what was perceived as an ulcer may not be that as of now. I've visited 6 doctors and they aren't exactly sure what I have any more. It ranges between Gastritis and Extreme Heartburn at this point...
But because both they and myself are hesitant to do any internal procedure, we're all just guessing. Right now I'll be starting my first antibiotics for Gastrointestinal Disorder, and hoping to GOD that it finally does the trick.

Any way, I got a special image coming for you this Christmas. Might be late but likely before months end. So hope you'll enjoy it.

Hi everyone, just wanted to make a quick update. So last month my PC broke down, and it took a a few days to repair. Thank God it was a minor fix and thing are back on track.
I wanted to thank everyone who offered their help and concerns during the break down. I especially appreciate those with the PC knowledge who offered to answer any concerns I had, which I will hold for a later date. But thank you regardless. But I digress, so I've been back to work for a couple of weeks slowly ironing out my last two commissions before moving on to my clients. Apart from reorganizing my PC, I had some trouble with my mom's health recently, but she seems to be doing fine now. So you can imagine how cluttered things have been. So the power supply to my PC popped a couples of days ago, and screwed up my system.
What I thought would be a simple fix has turned into a massive problem. I'm basically looking at a total reformat at this point, and it's still uncertain how damaged my Desktop is, in fact.
So I'm running on limited resource right now (working on new terrain), and I'm trying to adapt to my alternative options. And because I'm such a Boomer with computers, I'm struggling big time.

So I just wanted to apologies to you all, especially to my clients and those on my waiting list of commissions. I apologize for the delay. I'm doing my best to get things back on track.
But with a storm raging here, and family/ personal issues rattling my brain, the challenges just keep on coming. So I hope you can bear with me, I'm trying to keep things together!

Hi everyone

Hope you're all doing fine and staying safe.

So just a quick update, especially for my clients and their commissions.
I have Tuberculosis, it was confirmed yesterday after a number of test.
So I'm currently moving at a slower pace due to rest and the on and off visits to the hospital.

I've had constant coughing for 2 months now, and I shrugged it off as Asthma (since I used to have it as a kid and during college, and it always seemed to go away). But a few days ago I started coughing out blood, and so led to the grueling check up and the prognosis yesterday.
Apparently my nocturnal activities have led me a stray.

The irony of all this is that I used to just wear a mask whenever I went out. Now I'm wearing a mask inside and out; For the sake of my mom's safety. I'm particularly worried about her, and I'm doing my best to keep my distance.
I'm alright for the most part, aside from a mild fever and head ache last night (But I've recovered from that).
But otherwise I'm okay, just trying to be cautious and take things one step at a time.

So I wanna assure my clients that I will be continuing commissions to the best of my abilities, but it will take some time, as I have been forced to adjust my work and rest schedule.
The same goes for everyone else, I'm sorry for my slow pace and inconvenience.

Any way, I wanted to thank everyone who wished me well on my last journal. I really appreciated your concerns and good will. I'll do my best to recover soon, though they tell me it'll take 6 months for me to recover.
But lesson learned.
