Giving an update on things
General | Posted 4 years agoI have been sort of slow at getting content out lately, and that is mostly due to me fighting burnout. I enjoy my work, and I enjoy seeing others enjoying my work, but when doing it for this long it starts getting a bit difficult to keep doing this, as often, and as I make improvements overtime it just adds more that I have to do, and it gets to me. That being said, I am still working on projects, just taking my time with them as I wouldn't want to throw something together without much effort put into it, it just wouldn't be great for anyone really. There are plenty of projects in the list of things to do, so no shortage of work, but also no timescale as to when to expect these to be posted, as it is just one less thing for me to stress out over.
Over the past year and half I have also been battling a number of health issues, some tied to my weight, and some that to this day have not been able to figure out, at least not without exploratory surgery and other fun things like that. Last year when these things started I sort of went a long time without posting anything as I was just really depressed and extremely stressed out to where it made me sick, but it was just something I had to deal with at my own pace, still dealing with today, but I am far better mentally then I was, though still have a lot of work ahead of me to get back to a "stable" mental state I guess you could say, "Stable" or "normal" whatever fits better. With quite a bit of weight-loss and being more active in general has been good for my general well-being, though at the cost of being at my PC less often, which is another reason for things being slow going, but not being that big of an impact really.
So overall, I am fine. 80lbs lighter, somewhat improved health from last year despite some mystery still yet to be solved with some of these issues... I am in a better state then I have been minus the health issues, then I have been in several years. Work is still being done, projects are progressing, I have no plans to step away from what I do, I am just taking my time with things. As I have said I am not rushing things, I don't want to produce stuff that lacks in quality.
I also want to throw out there if not for the supporters over at Subscribestar, the other platform I can't name as by their request but have linked in my discord, as well as everyone in general, I don't know where I would be without you all right now, or if I would be still doing anything. All your support is what is really helping me though the seemingly endless stream of issues and other things I would normally have a hard time dealing with... also a great help at keeping me doing what I do. I am very grateful that I have so many people who enjoy the work I do, and support the work I do, I just don't know how to thank everyone... especially through times like this where I just have to take things slow. I said it already, but I don't have any plans to stop making content for all you to enjoy, and here is hoping I can keep doing this for a while longer.Oh and I want to also mention that I have an interest in switching out of Source Filmmaker for maybe Blender or Source 2 Filmmaker (or any other animation program able to handle higher quality assets), but with Blender I would need to sit down with someone who knows their way around Blender to help teach me to use it, and with S2FM, need to figure out some issues before I can consider switching there, as it would be easier to use, can handle much more then normal SFM and produce greater quality stuff, as well as easier to port models to, but just need to figure out a few major issues with texture conversions and also some important bones of 4 legged models disheartening when applying rigs to that are 100% vital to have, and can not be used without them, at least not without looking real jank. Feel free to message me in discord if you may be able to help with either one, or both, I would greatly appreciate it, and likely would bring major improvements to my work, visually that is, maybe some other areas, who knows.

General | Posted 4 years agoAbout My Work/Discord/Support
General | Posted 6 years agoWhat I do is create content using SFM, or Source Filmmaker, mostly focusing on human and canine models, as they are my preferred models of use, however I have done a few pieces of work featuring other animals/creatures. Since I went through some hard times early this year, I have been trying to focus on creating content I will enjoy creating as I do spent a long time on them, and working on some commissioned work that I didn't exactly enjoy, takes a toll on me, and feel burned out quicker then I normally would, so sometimes creations can take a long time before being finished and posted.
I have a discord, I tend to be active enough on it to interact with anyone who would like to ask questions, or are trying to learn SFM themselves and need help. I keep people there up to date on what I am working on, showing animated work in early stages up to the finished stages, plus post MP4 conversions of animations for those unfortunate to have Apple devices such as iPhones or iPads (totally not a joke about Android's rein over IOS) And you can come and see a few other creators in the discord and post requests you would like to see come to life as an animation, or if you want to guarantee that, make it a commission by reading the commission info in the discord and message me with full details of what you want to see, but mind you, content involving anything other then canines may take longer or depending on the idea, may have to hold off on (example: gay animations)
I have a Subscribestar page in case anyone wants to support my work, it does go a long way the more you can give, not only to keep me going with animating, but financially as well, which keeps me in a better mood to do these sorts of things. It isn't something you should or have to do, I don't hold anything behind a paywall, but it would be very appreciated given the loss of my Patreon :)

What I do, plus other things, and discord.
General | Posted 6 years agoMy work is purely based on Canine interactions if you will. Uploads are random, I have no schedules and work whenever I find some free time. Most of my animations feature my own maps created in Hammer, gives a nice sense of accomplishment IF I get an animation completed... which isn't easy for me as I like to bounce between projects, and a lot of those projects end up getting abandoned.
I started using Source Filmmaker over 2 years ago, after a small period of uploads from artists I follow on many different sites kind of stopped, and ones that were posted were great, but not my thing. I decided I would try to make my own work, and the first model I used was Dogmeat from Fallout 4. The model ended up being the only model I used for quite some time, learning SFM through the model with a little bit of help from youtube, but at the start of 2019 I uploaded my first real work, looking back on it now I have for sure improved, and I intend on continuing to improve, however the likelihood of me using other canine models in my work is unlikely, but things change. I have also created skins using existing skins, to add personal touches to these animations.
Any requests for animations, I will accept, and consider creating, and If you are apart of my discord, and you requested something, you would be notified and see progress as I post them. My discord is open for a limited amount of people who wish to be apart of the community. The discord has 2 parts, SFW and NSFW. Any content is welcome there, as long as all rules are followed. The discord will open up every now and then, will let people join, fill spots, add staff and so on. If the discord limit is reached, you can still get in by request in comments on the latest posts. I don't expect the discord to fill right away, so if you want a spot, I would act sooner rather then later.
Discord link is here. if you want permission to see the NSFW channels, I will need to know, and a few questions will follow before getting the rank. It is a place for everyone, not just me, its the way I want that discord to be used.
