So I just watched the most recent of the animated shorts, this one about Bastion and I all got to say is.....Damn it Blizzard some making feel things and love these shorts!

I mean seriously the story for these shorts, the music, all of it just reminds me of how Disney animation was when I was growing up as a kid, these things make me want to cheer when you need to, nearly cry at the sad moments. Blizzard's animation teams just need to do their own movie already cause you know one like these animations would have people come out of the theater crying tears of joy at how good it was.

So with my new job I am able to get a little more while still staying in budget but problem is that most times when I get the art I am exhausted from work or to lazy to post it that day.

So I came up with a little schedule to help keep the good times flowing and not getting bogged down with finished art not getting posted.

Either on Tuesday or Friday of the week, which I am usually off work, I will hope on here in the afternoon and post away either my clean or sexy (mostly sexy) art for all of you to enjoy.

Yeah I know some of you are pretty much sick of hearing about it but after seeing the little Featurette clip they put out on youtube. The film is pretty much Warcraft 1 and Warcraft 2's lore smashed together to make this film.

So yeah, they pretty much fucked it all up before it even started. I hope blizzard never tries a live action film again. Just spend 10 years making a movie with your cinematic crew and believe me the beauty from that alone will probably be the film of the year and crush the box office.

So if you have steam and your a fan of the warhammer 40k universe you have probably heard of this game. If you dont know what it is well its a space warfare RTS, but not the usual kind where you build a base and then spend time collect materials to build badass ships.

I bought in for the beta version and been playing skirmish's mostly cause I just suck at PvP in those kinds of games and if I dont have to deal with players...I will take the solo road.

In the skirmish mode you got to choose from Imperium, Chaos, Ork and Eldar (with the recent update). Each has it's pro's and con's. Personally Ork and Eldar have more con's for an average player but the computer of course knows how to play them well.

To elaborate on the con's first,
Imperium ships are slow and lack launch bays (fighters and bombers)
Chaos suffers the same but Chaos ships have long range weak weapons.
Ork ships cant make quick turns and their guns are inaccurate has hell
Eldar ships have no shields, weak weapons and armor, plus all their weapons are made for frontal assault

Pro's
Imperium is easy to learn cause once you master the speed turn you can avoid and close the gap with most enemies plus their weapons are very powerful and accurate
Chaos can keep their distance to fight and use fighters but not may pro's I saw with them
Ork's have really tough ships plus are great for boarding and ramming other ships
Eldar....speed, thats about it....

All honesty Imperium wins to me, mainly cause your playing them in the campaign so knowing them best will just make the missions easier.

As for some tips on battle types
Convoy: Spread out the ships a bit, some on one end and the rest on the other. Make sure you bring faster but still powerful ships and focus on destroying an enemies engines to keep them from ramming or chasing the ships.

Data recovery or Assassination: Let your ship with the best speed, armor and shields bare this burden so you can keep away from the enemy fleet and use your other ships to hammer away at them

Break-through and space station: Best to keep your distance from the platforms and lure the enemy fleet away or use torpedoes from a fair distance


As for skills and upgrades....that's completely up to you.
I use the disruption ability to take away enemy shields
stasis to slow them and catch up
quick jump ability I use for the larger ships since they suffer from speed and maneuvering

Upgrades
I try and upgrade my weapons first and then either my shields or speed

Faction Favor
Doesn't hurt to maybe have one of each, but depends on your play style.


All in all, I find it to be a fun games and looking forward to the campaign cause I can imagine reliving the 13th black crusade is going to hard but enjoyable.

First off I would like to say that the dark zone is pretty fun because of the way loot is in there, it reminds me a lot like Diablo. Random gear so you have to keep going back to try your luck and get something good and sometimes you do, which is fun.

As for the PvP, yeah people going rogue and killing you sucks but sometimes it is still fun to see how long you will last if you try and stand your ground against attacking players but there is a downside to this...

PROXIMITY CHAT BLOWS FUCKING ASS! It is the worst idea to have in a game especially if you cant turn it off...Every time I am in there with my best friend and other players we are just chatting and one of us might call out "2 players on the right" simple little command so we know to watch our fire and not accidentally kill someone. But then you get the assholes who hear you and respond "Ohh 2 tangos at your 6! LOL!" mocking us like we are talking like soldiers. I mean seriously calling out where someone is just makes life easier and besides knowledge is power in a fight, why do you think actual soldiers talk that why?!

Those people that talk insults are just fucking trolls in the game who just make peoples experience worse! Even worse then that....there is no function to report players when they are harassing you! Whether its constantly killing you or just constantly spewing racial or homophobic slurs. It pieces right the fuck off!

If you have a PC, and you play this game and go into the dark zone. Avoid a player name Rolfin....yeah thats right, thats his name. He is a homophobic troll who will make the game a living hell. I say this just to say people the headache of seeing this player. I play to make a formal complaint to Ubisoft or EA about them and hopefully get a report feature of some sort added.

So I decided on getting the game for PC and now I got over 30 gigs to download.

I went with Gold edition cause I thought why not and the game looks like Ubisoft actually put their time into this one. Might be the hail mary for the company honestly.

As for bugs and glitches at launch, I am sure there will be some. No game nowadays is free from them.

So my 29th birthday was yesterday, yes I am that old, and it wasnt a bad day at all. Probably one of the best I have had in years.

I had the day off from work, got to spend majority of the day relaxing and hanging out with someone I like. Got a few gift art pieces from friends and got to have a nice peaceful dinner with my folks and grandparents.

Today when I went into work, I got a $3 discount from the managers to use for lunch which is nice too.

All in all, it was a good day for me and happy I got to spend it with friends and family

Sooo I know most gamers out there have heard of this game and a lot of the BS it has went through, delays and such. But with the release coming up soon the big question is...Should I buy the game?

Cause I played the open beta yesterday and the game seems fairly decent but is it full price worth at launch?

So yeah if you have seen the new trailer buzzing around you can pretty much tell how the whole movie will play out without have to waste the cash seeing it.

Doomsday....That's right! The monster that killed superman in different media is making his appearance to film and I got to say...he looks like CGI crap. I had some hope for the film but after seeing that trailer and what is pretty much probably the end scenes from the film its probably not worth doing to see in theaters.

Wonder Woman did look good though but not expecting a lot out of her.

I don't get how they can make animated films and those are good but live action they screw it up? Give DC comics to Disney already, they might actually be able to make a decent live action film for the many other superheroes.

All these characters and I just dont have a place for each of them or the funds to get them drawn.

Not spoiling anything at all (that's what youtube is for), but I have to say that Telltale games really knows how to tell a damn good story.

I do hope they do a season 2 and have more characters from the original series in it.

Good news first, I got offered a new position at my work that moves me away from cashiering, I will get better steady hours each week, work mornings and a possible pay increase. I also will be getting a domain name soon and having a friend help me build a website for my fantasy comic: The tale of a Rabbit. It would be something more official and easier place to link for donations.

Disappointing news: I wont start this til November and as some of you gamers know the end of this month and beginning of november a lot of good games are being released so I am probably going to be putting money aside to buy Fallout, Starcraft and maybe Halo 5, so as far as commissions go, I probably wont be ordering close to none if not any for the next couple of weeks. So that means no real new updates to the comic or other kinky stuff.
