Elbows/Shoulders up: 40+Flats, 55+ Shaded
Fullbody: 80+ Flats, 110+ Shaded
Additional Characters: x0.75 Base Price each (Example: Two characters, Full-Body, Flats: 80 for first character, +60 for second character)
Detailed Backgrounds: Final Price +100% ((Example: A 2 character Full-Shaded with detailed background would be about 385. 110 for 1st character, 82.50 for second, and then 192.50 for the background.))

Posted 4 years agoMy hand's a bit numb, I spent money last month upgrading from a Kamvas 13 to a Kamvas 22??? I think? 2020 edition, and also bought myself a hood and waist belt with pockets at renfair and boy howdy
I am real bad at not feeling absolutely -awful- about spending cash on my own needs and wants. We got a new pupper, he's three years old, adopted from the shelter. His name's Zodiac, he's a black lab x basset hound mix. I love his dumb little leggies.
Our housemates also had to put down their two very elderly dogs because they took a downswing after the big Texan freeze a couple months back, and that was like, three days ago, so, I'm still processing.
Kinda tired lately, hoping my hand stops hurting/being numb, I have some art to catch up on, y'know?

It's Arguably April-
Posted 4 years agoand I'll fight anybody who says it is.
Just kidding, I love you all.
We're a month into me taking BC, to help level out my hormones so I don't have cyclic retching, and, so far, so good, except my depression kicked my -ass- last month. Apparently, there's been a study on depression levels in femme bodied folks (one, and only one, because of blatant reasons) that found that about half of femme-bodied individuals who take BC, and of that, a higher percentage if it's the progestin only, experience a numbing (in my layman's terms) of the neurons that process the feel-good hormones. You don't get the natural highs provided by dopamine and serotonin, so it all feels. Dull. And any sadness, you feel at full force.
Guess who's on progestin only pills and has a history of clinical depression? Me, BUT! I think the hormones are leveling out, I've felt alright for a few days, so HOPEFULLY, my body's figured out how to compensate. If not, I have to look into anti-depressants, and, frankly, I'm uninsured, so it'll probably cost more than I can easily afford.
On a happier note! I'm planning on making a new limited run base gacha, so, I'd love to hear what species you guys want to see! I'm thinking more kobolds, harpies, maybe merms, maybe kitsune? Why don't you guys stop in my discord to let me know your thoughts? I'd love to chat with you!

March Madness [Update, a little heavy]
Posted 4 years agoWe made it through February.
Look at that.
One month to the next, we keep going on.
I was in the affected area of Texas- who wasn't, truly?- we lost power for about 40 hours, with an hour of power after 36. Thirty-six. We have a pet snake, and the only way we kept her from freezing was by tucking her up against our stomachs, and we were some of the lucky ones. There was a mayor, a person people look to for guidance in strife, who said that those asking for help were nothing, were parasites, unworthy of help. People died. People laughed at the plight, made jokes because our state chose to deregulate the power grid, and to isolate it from the national grid. I'm from Minnesota. The grid there was -fine-, like it is every year, because they're built to take it.
Many of those that suffered had nothing to do with the decision. They were too young, and the last major storm hit 30 years ago. They tried to blame natural solutions as being ineffective, but if the power companies had winterized, those near-50 people wouldn't have died, water pipes wouldn't have burst. People probably lost their fish and other pets. Other people, who didn't lose power, were charged literal THOUSANDS of dollars.
I'm very tired. I'm so tired of people shouting that progressive things aren't helpful, and say that they're the reason things fail, when it's straight up corporate greed that costs us in blood and tears.
And now, Governor Abbot has announced a lifting of the Mask Mandate.
I'm immuno-compromised. I work from home, but my fiancee does not. Neither does my housemate's husband. At least two times a week, I've heard about customers not wearing masks. The brief times we go grocery shopping, I see bare faces. At least three.
I don't have health insurance, because I don't qualify for the Health Marketplace because I don't make -enough- for assistance, but Texas didn't expand medicare, so I fall through the cracks. If I get sick, I die.
One month to the next, we keep going on.

One month to the next, we keep going on.
I was in the affected area of Texas- who wasn't, truly?- we lost power for about 40 hours, with an hour of power after 36. Thirty-six. We have a pet snake, and the only way we kept her from freezing was by tucking her up against our stomachs, and we were some of the lucky ones. There was a mayor, a person people look to for guidance in strife, who said that those asking for help were nothing, were parasites, unworthy of help. People died. People laughed at the plight, made jokes because our state chose to deregulate the power grid, and to isolate it from the national grid. I'm from Minnesota. The grid there was -fine-, like it is every year, because they're built to take it.
Many of those that suffered had nothing to do with the decision. They were too young, and the last major storm hit 30 years ago. They tried to blame natural solutions as being ineffective, but if the power companies had winterized, those near-50 people wouldn't have died, water pipes wouldn't have burst. People probably lost their fish and other pets. Other people, who didn't lose power, were charged literal THOUSANDS of dollars.
I'm very tired. I'm so tired of people shouting that progressive things aren't helpful, and say that they're the reason things fail, when it's straight up corporate greed that costs us in blood and tears.
And now, Governor Abbot has announced a lifting of the Mask Mandate.
I'm immuno-compromised. I work from home, but my fiancee does not. Neither does my housemate's husband. At least two times a week, I've heard about customers not wearing masks. The brief times we go grocery shopping, I see bare faces. At least three.
I don't have health insurance, because I don't qualify for the Health Marketplace because I don't make -enough- for assistance, but Texas didn't expand medicare, so I fall through the cracks. If I get sick, I die.
One month to the next, we keep going on.

It's time for... JOVIAL JANUARY UPDATES
Posted 5 years ago((Because man, last month was -not- a fun one for me.)) As those of you in my discord may have gathered, December decided that I had been too chipper, and, as such, needed to suffer a little more. We migrated my computer into its new tower and onto its new motherboard- went more or less alright, but the screen kept going -wonky- so we did a fresh install of windows that didn't fix it. Turns out, the graphics card hadn't settled into its new home and needed to be shown a little more TLC and after that, it was fine. I decided to switch art programs at that point and man, my brain doesn't like change, I'm still trying to get myself comfortable in ClipStudioPaint because it -is- a good art program and I want to get away from Photoshop. I got sick for about a week with an ear infection, and then my hands both went numb for a week, and then my sternum decided it, too, wished to mutiny.
NONETHELESS. I am optimistic about this new year! I may be playing catch up, but I'm still alive, and you're all here, and I want you guys to know you're loved. I've made a number of new friends this past month, I've made a few new characters, and I've got viddy games to play and try out. Now, here, some links! I launched my semi-open species, the Eyemaws, fully, I'm reworking my closed species, Caribelds, and going to be semi-opening them up, too~ ((Man, oh man, you guys love eyemaws, and that makes me super happy.)) I rebooted my Patreon, I started up a Gumroad, and opened a discord for hanging out and updates and sharing sketches and the likes- here're the links to all of those!

Sketchpage: 45+ for three sketches
Semi-Custom of a Species: 40 (flat full body (off-base) with a palette- you give me a theme and colors you like, 1-2 WIPs)
Chibis: 20+
Headshots/Icons: 15+ Flat, 30+ Shaded
Elbows/Shoulders up: 40+Flats, 55+ Shaded
Fullbody: 80+ Flats, 110+ Shaded
Additional Characters: x0.75 Base Price each (Example: Two characters, Full-Body, Flats: 80 for first character, +60 for second character)
Detailed Backgrounds: Final Price +100% ((Example: A 2 character Full-Shaded with detailed background would be about 385. 110 for 1st character, 82.50 for second, and then 192.50 for the background.))
Ref Sheets start at 140 (Front+Back, Fancy Palette) and go up depending on how much more detailed you like.
I require payment upfront, and will refuse work I'm not comfortable with, such as but not limited to: vore, gore/snuff/abuse, micro/macro, hyper, excessively exaggerated anatomy, bathroom play, transformation, and anything to do with children in NSFW situations.
I'm also not a huge fan of horror, but that's a spectrum, y'know?
Alright, still here? Here's some things I absolutely love to draw, as an aside: scars, characters of pretty much any body shape- dadbod? Hell yeah. Lithe? Let's go. Curvy Cutie? Come right this way~!, ferals, anthros, and pretty much any species in between, any gender, any sex, romantic pairs/groups (because my god they hOLD HAND), bondage, chibis- really, the list just keeps going.
