November [I can't think of a clever title] Update!
Posted 5 years agoHi guys! We're already half-way through the month, look at that! AND. We're almost through 2020. Only another thirty years in this year to go! I believe we can make it! I've had a great past month, my GF and I are moving into a new house so I've been drawing a little more sporadically, but comms and ideas are still spilling forth, I assure you.
I'm still streaming on Twitch, and I'm planning on restarting 'Sinful Saturdays' over on my Picarto, both of which you can find below. Twitch is for all my 'clean' artwork, picarto gets the tasteful nudes and the nasty dudes, so both are worth a follow~

Detailed Backgrounds: Final Price +100% ((Example: A 2 character Full-Shaded with detailed background would be about 385. 110 for 1st character, 82.50 for second, and then 192.50 for the background.))

Posted 5 years agoI fell off the face of the Earth, this year has been absolute chaos, hasn't it? Anywho. I've caught up with my comms, I've posted 'em up, I'm alive, you're presumably alive-shaped, welcome to my journal I'm sorry I ramble.
I've got a question for all you loverly watchers, actually, since, between comms, I tend to sketch. A lot. And not finish those sketches- but! I figured that they'd be nice to fill the space with. So, dearest ones, do you want to see my sketches? I've got -plenty- to share, and I honestly might be encouraged to finish them if it weren't simply me wanting them, and you'd get the added benefit of seeing how I draw in case you guys miss my streams.
Speaking of streams-- We're at 69 followers on Twitch! I have two whole subscribers!!! You guys should pile on in when I'm streaming and keep me company~ On my Twitch Channel, I stream SFW stuff, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and below that is where Sinful Saturday Streams happen. I think I'll start taking suggestions on that day, too.

I haven't been up to too terribly much besides expanding my SecondLife Marketplace stock- I'm learning how to make meshes! If you guys have any tips or tricks for rigging in Blender 2.8, I'd be happy to learn- catching up on comms, learning a new shading style (exciting, I know!), playing video games- which, y'know, if you guys wanna play some time, I'd be down. FALLOWEEN CARIBELD EVENT
Posted 6 years ago"Man, oh man, you would not believe how many pumpkin spice lattes I've made lately! The scent's nice, though I prefer apple cider myself. It's nice to wrap your fingers around on chilly days like they've been lately."
You wonder how, exactly, you ended up in this coffee shop, staring at the peculiar red-head with her wild tangle of hair and feathers adorning her shoulders. She's wearing an oversized tee, and, between her smiles, you can see hound teeth. Something is inherently unsettling about her, but she presses on.
"I looooove this time of year. It's my favorite. You get to see all sorts of monsters coming out to play, and the leaves, I've seen the caribelds doing some -great- cronches," she purrs, and you could almost swear that her hair had eyes in the shadows when she tossed it with her hand. Definitely not normal, but she's shoving a cup of coffee into your hands already, and continuing on. "Oh, man, speaking of caribelds, we've been getting a few in here, some real odd characters, yeah? Guess it goes with the times. Maybe you should try chatting them up, they just might follow you home!"
That first sip is enough to haunt your dreams and your nightmares, sinks deep into the core, but the second sip is perfection, playing over your taste buds like the gods themselves blessed her coffee carafes. Perhaps you'll stick around, keep an eye out for some of the caribelds she's mentioned. A rather grumpy looking man with scars on the right side of his face, filled in with gold, stalks up from the back, and loops his arms around Ayil's shoulders, stooping a little to do so. Her arms lift, and tease at his long, black hair, mussing the bun playfully as he nuzzles into her mane.
"Ayil, there is a pumpkin patch in the back. Why is there a pumpkin patch in the back?"
"Because I like the sound they make when you slap them, and those caribeld babies- baby cari- babibelds! Those babibelds we took in like to chew on them."
"Ayil, honey. We're not keeping those. We can't keep those. There's a lot of them."
"Is fifteen a lot? Really?"
"Fifteen is about fourteen and a half too many, I'm afraid."
"I don't think it's ethical to keep half a baby." Humming faintly, her face screwing up a little as she thought, and then her fingers snap. Did the world just tremble? No, there's no earthquakes in this place, must've been your imagination. "I know! Hey, what if we let them come in the back, and pick a pumpkin and a babibeld?"
"Them-? Oh. You." The tall, dark-haired man lifts his head, attention wrenched from his tiny wife, and fixes you with his uncanny gaze- one eye like molten gold poured in to fill the space inside the socket, the other the slit-pupiled yellow of a reptile. Both, somehow, staring, despite the lack of a pupil in the golden eye. "Oh, I remember you. I've seen you hanging out with those researchers. I bet you'd love to take home a babibeld, wouldn't you? And a pumpkin. I guess."
You feel small under that gaze, cup half-empty, half-raised to your lips again. There's an involuntary shudder beneath the inspection, the weight of the gaze, and then Ayil chirps again, "Yeah, it'll be good! Helps all of us out. But, uh... Here, judge of character, I guess, since these -are- babies and all. Adoption fee is one drawing, minimum waist up, alright? Then we'll get you the extra strength net."
"It has to have a pumpkin in it," the man adds, straightening to his full height. He has to look down at you. There might be a raised floor behind the bar. That knowledge doesn't help make him less imposing. "Ayil likes pumpkins."
"They make the best bowling balls. Now, off you go! I'll top off your coffee, yeah? Bye~!"

We've got leaves you can earn to spend on event-exclusive traits and items, which should be revealed around Halloween, by answering prompts with either art or literature. There's going to be a couple Legendary Caribelds up for auction, a few more Oddballs in a paid gacha, and a whopping fifteen babibelds in a gacha you can enter -once per person- with the low, low cost of a drawing of a caribeld, either your own, a friend's, or Iggy herself! Let's break these up further, shall we?
=============================The Prompts=============================
These prompts can include up to five caribelds in them, and follow the algorithm for counting Leaves. They must have at least two-thirds of each caribeld visible, and have a simple background and flat colors to be counted.
Flat Colors (lined or without lineart)- 2
Full color with shading- 4
Including up to four additional caribelds- +1-4 points
Literary pieces- Each prompt can earn up to 10 points with the breakdown of 1 point for one hundred words. You may RP this with somebody else; total word-count will be divided by the number of players to determine how many points are given.

The molting season- all your feathers drop, either all at once or in patches, and they -itch- when they're coming back in, but by the gods is it worth it. A new, glossy, vibrant coat to show off to other 'belds will grow in after a week or so- but how does one deal with it in the meanwhile? Draw or write about your caribeld or a friend's going through the Molt.
2. Spooky time is the best time! Draw your Caribeld in a costume, or trick-or-treating!
3. Potion brewing- Caribelds aren't magickally talented- or are they? This eerie cauldron seems to be irresistible- what is your caribeld putting in, and what potentially disastrous results have been wrought?
4. It's common knowledge that spooky things happen around this time of year. The ghosts and ghouls come out to play, witches soar through the sky, skeletons startle unsuspecting people. Depict your caribeld dealing with a supernatural entity! Is it friendly? Or fearsome?
5. LEAF. LEAF HAS GOOD CRONCH. Depict your caribeld enjoying the CRONCH.
6. Does your caribeld decorate for Halloween or the Feast? Or perhaps there's some other celebrations going on in the fall your caribeld might like to partake in.
